I believe this leaked information 101% because I ply that route regularly to my working place in the neighboring country.During the day, these custom men harass and seize rice from all these petty smugglers, whereas the main multimillion naira smuggling do happen over the night. This is a great work coming from this journalist |
[Zenith I think quote author=slimthugchimee2 post=120044786]What is this bank name[/quote] |
This is a wake up call for all of us Nigerians that our banking system has now been hijacked by criminals disguising as staffs. For more than six years now I have been sending money to our aged mother at home on monthly basis via my younger brother wife's bank account.Last year I mounted pressure on the boy (my younger brother) who is semi literate to open his own bank account . Just last December I travelled to my home town and before leaving I requested for my younger brother's new bank account and in the presence of some other family members I made a transfer of #50000 and he immediately received the alert. About two minutes later my brother showed me a debit alert of the same amount I transfer to him leaving a balance of less than #1000 in the new account. I couldn't follow him to the bank that day 23rd of December because I had to return to Lagos. He was told at the bank that the money was withdrawn via the bank App .This my brother doesn't even have any smartphone talk less of using a bank App.It is crystal clear that a bank staff carried out this evil act. Just about two weeks ago I read about how a poor market woman life savings of #600000 disappeared from her bank account. The latest one is a lady (ex banker) who also lost 4.5 million naira from her account without initiating any transaction. |

My strict policy in my family is that my children would not have smartphones or any internet enable phones until completion of their ssce. The computer is there for them for research or doing school assignments. This action, which appears like punishment for the children has really been very helpful for them to remain focus in their studies |
In a way this move is commendable on the part of the government.but the big question is how has successive govt alleviate suffering of teachers. Are they not suppose to start from the suffering teachers before thinking of those still in training. If you make the teaching profession lucrative studying education in university would be highly competitive |
Too predictable.no surprise at all |
Way back in 2012 when I got this Job that took me to Republic of Benin,#1000 was equal 3300 cefa. But this week, today to be precise I went to a Forex exchange office to transfer a sum of money back home to my family in Lagos .I was surprised that the same amount of cefa I changed is the same amount I got in Naira . A part of me is happy for this development because of getting much more naira for my cefa earned here in rep of Benin.but in the other way round I wasn't happy because of what Nigeria's economy has reduced to and the free fall of naira couple with it's declining purchase power. May God help my fatherland Nigeria. |
My first salary in 1984 was #100.My salary after 5 years when I went university was around #300.So it wasn't easy to save up 5000 naira that time |
But people are wicked on this forum.i remember vividly when Tonto posted the picture of her and the new lover online few months ago, and somebody passed a comment like " hmmm this will soon end in tears". Is that not so now? |
As you can all see he is "hale and hearty" no be so? |
