Osun dry? Naaa. It's not. Oyo that's bubbling ehn, na only ibadan u fit see d bubbling. Same with osun.. U can still have some good places in osogbo. I was dere for 5 years and I know what I'm saying. There r definitely good places in osogbo to have fun.

i believe osun has villages too and not every1 would be posted to iwo, osogbo, ede, ife and ilesha. example of villages in osun are gbongan, ikirun, ile ogbo, ijebujesha, okuku, even dem ipetu ijesha, modakeke.
nb: i've been to almost everywhere in osun and i can say categorically that industry wise oyo is far better osun while ogun is better than oyo

Trust me, power supply in Osun is better than some places in Lagos. I lived in Osun for almost two years and i never had a generator, cause light was stable. We're comparing Osun and Oyo, you cannot even compare Lagos with Oyo and Osun. Everyone knows how good Lagos is. Not everybody wants Lagos btw, I know I don't.

Anybody that wants Lagos must have a tangible reason. It's not like u will just wake up and say I Wanna serve in lag only of u wanna go suffer your self. These nysc people don't have a great laid down plan for us. U can't say because of fun or how civilised the state is I Wanna go dere. U will finish the 1 year and see that u still in the same place. At this rate naija is going companies are releasing workers.. No jobs. We have to think with the 19800 we will be receiving 1st. That's even if dey pay it on time. And just know how to improve oneself.

Just to correct the impression dat only osogbo is developed.

However in oyo state, aside ibadan nd ogbomoso, every other place is under developed, more or less a village. Is it iseyin, igboho, saki or whr?

Finally Oyo residents are talking. No offense to Osun state but Oyo state is head and shoulders above it. I have lived in both states. If you want leisure go to the cinemas. you want to shop head on to shoprite. If you want excitement find your way down to options night club, 411, tarmac just to mention a few. If you love nature, head to Ibadan zoo or agodi gardens. professional bodies like ICAN NIM CIPM MAN, NIESV have strong holds there. Financial institutions are so many, telecommunications companies are there, real estate firms are there, food making and beverage companies and a whole lot of human resource manager's setting up shop in oyo, just to mention a few. Osun state has got nothing on oyo..

Lol. Na movie I wan use 1 year watch abi na animal I go use 1 year go see. Please list out some telecommunications company in ibadan.. I would really love to know them because If I get oyo I would like to apply to dem and get a good job dere.

Just wanna say my view concerning this osun and oyo of a thing. These two states are almost in the same level to me. Well u might argue oyo is above.. But I don't think so. Although if I could make one wish, it's gonna be to serve in osun. But that can't be possible. It's my state of origin and I schooled there. So I might be settling for oyo.

But comparing osun and oyo based on jobs I don't think one is above each other. Collar jobs in oyo too is not on d high. And u can only get a good collar job in ibadan. Ibadan can be cool but seriously the house rent there is high, bad electricity. Transport fee is high. You would enter a #300 bus from osogbo to ibadan, and take a #400 bike from iwo Road to dugbe.. That's crazy!!!

Left to me osun is cool. It's not like any state u go to, u have a ready made job for u or u will see one better job. 80% PCM gonna eventually get teaching or ministries and u will be looking for accommodation about, a place to see stable electricity, good water and so on. I know those that serve in oyo, ibadan to be precise.. They suffer based on these 3 things. And these r d 3 basic thing anyone would need even if u have a view of looking for job or something.. Osun might not have so much jobs u can fit into. But if u have a great entrepreneurship mind, then u can achieve so many things during d service year. And they v all d basic amenities u might be looking for.. Accommodation, electricity, water and so on. 70% of the towns in osun enjoy electricity. These is a known fact. Osun is even the Base of electricity source here in the West. And if it's flex and fun u want to have u can always go to ib during d weekend and have all the fun.

This is just my view anyway. U can go to any state u want. Everyone has his future plan and goals. So

The 1st 3 days of the reg will have all d states available.. Den by the 4th day states will start disappearing and peeps will start to fear that they won't be able to pick any state which will make dem pick the North eastern states that will be available . Well the interesting part is that after 5-6 days most of the states will come back and u will be so surprised.

So in short if u can't register for the 1st 3 days. U should probably chill till the following week..

This is just an advice oo. And the narration above is based on what happened in 15B batch. Please don't hold me liable if anything go a wire oo. Lol

We have 6 geopolitical zones with the states under them... Are thus:


1: North central: Abuja, Plateau, Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, and Niger states.

2: North East: Borno, Adamawa, Bauchi, Gombe, Taraba and Yobe states.

3: North West: Kaduna, Kano, Zamfara, Sokoto, Kebbi, Katsina and Jigawa states.

4: South East: Ebonyi, Imo, Abia, Enugu and Anambra states.

5: South South: Edo, Delta, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, and Bayelsa States.

6: South West: Lagos, Ekiti, Oyo, Osun, Ondo and Ogun states.

Now, in each of this geo-political zones... You're entitle to pick just one into three geo-political zones... That is to say, out of 6, you can only pick 3...

Also, if your school in lagos and you're from lagos... you'll have 5 free options outside the states in South-Western region.

Well since he schooled in unilag, lagos is out of the states he can pick and also his state of origin. You can pick any other states from the southwest. I.e ogun, Oyo, ondo, ekiti, Osun. Bear in mind u can't pick ur state of origin and state you schooled.

it has to be the one u got admission with to the school mobilizing u. Go back to your school.. They should be able to resolve it

Well let me advice you based on my past experience. I did registration for 15B.. You will be required to input your jamb reg number at the start of the online registration which will in return bring out your basic info. You will have to go to your school and resolve the no admission offered. It's compulsory. You must do it. I think u will v to pay 5k to resolve it. That's what my school charge. I don't know of other schools..

It's gonna take place when registration starts. You just gonna log in with your former username and password and click on revalidation

Yes.. According to the information I got from Nysc official twitter page and from my school, u just need to login with your username and password of the previous batch and click on revalidation when registration starts. No cause for alarm

Please I have a problem,, my name was on the senate list B 15 along the line I did the first stage of registration but have not completed the online registration before I had an issue in my office so I decided to wait for A 16 batch so I went to my school for remobilization but they said I should wait during A 16 registration I shld just go and register but my status in the senate list is saying " matric no in use (by my email address of last year) instead of (matric no not in use u can now register) so am confused if I am eligible to register during A 16 this February or any further step to take?

Please I don't know what to do if I should relax and wait for 8th February to register
