I really don't know the solution to this problem.. It's so common among government agencies and that's why we still so backward in this country..

Everything is just not right in the country of ours.. Why must nysc wait till today before working on the portal?? What's the essence of a time table then??

IGP MOURNS SLAIN CORPS MEMBER

The Inspector-General of Police Mr. Solomon Arase has commiserated with the National Youth Service Corps and the family of Corps member Okonta Dumebi Samuel, who was killed by unknown gunmen during the March re-run legislative elections in Rivers State.

Arase was speaking today when the NYSC Director-General Brigadier General Sule Kazaure paid him a courtesy visit at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.

He said the Police had always collaborated with INEC and the NYSC with a view to ensuring the safety of all Corps members during elections, and expressed regrets that the murder of the Okonta occurred despite the security strategies put in place.

He expressed delight at the Director-General’s visit within a few days of the latter’s assumption of duty noting that it underscored the importance he attached to the relationship between the two agencies.

The IGP reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigeria Police to its collaboration with the NYSC, especially as regards safety during elections as well as orientation course periods. He said the commitment of the force informed its decision to assign a very senior officer to coordinate liaison with the Scheme.

He wished the NYSC helmsman a successful tenure while assuring him of his support.

Earlier, the Director-General Brigadier General Sule Kazaure said the visit to the Inspector-General was in recognition of the role of the Nigeria Police as a critical stakeholder in the NYSC, and went on to call for the strengthening of the existing relationship between the two agencies.

“I came to identify with the IGP because of the collaboration between our organizations. As the saying goes, ‘two heads are better than one’ so, there is strength in collaboration,” he said.

Kazaure thanked the Inspector-General for the support the NYSC had always been enjoying from the police, especially through the provision of security in all camps during orientation courses.

He informed him that the 2016 Batch ‘A’ Orientation course would commence on April 27, 2016 and solicited the usual support of the force in the protection of orientation camps.

You guys should just have some patience.. I can remember vividly this time last year when b15 wanted to print call up letter. We had to wait for another 24 hours before it was available on the portal.

Not saying we have to wait for another 24 hours this time around but it might just repeat itself..

LATEST NYSC ALERT!

Information reaching me Jew few minutes ago says dt NYSC batch A for 2016 might be shifted till further notice...The reason is dt Federal government released money for only 56,000 students out of 112,000 students due for service this batch.. And even if we wud go den its only Stream 1 might go and stream 2 , their fate is yet to be known depending on when Federal government released the remaining money for stream 2...
So if ur name comes out in stream 2 then u have to be praying for God to touch dia hrt..

Only a fool thinks the American dream is to enter Yankee and magically become a millionaire and start sending money down to your home country (I'm not calling you a fool o, don't get me wrong. I mean anyone who's expecting paradise as the American dream is on a long thing). A sensible person sees the dream as an opportunity to have a better life, a better standard of living. That's what it is, an opportunity. It comes with no guarantees. Don't put yourself under pressure to succeed at so so and so age, don't use the success of others as a yardstick to judge urs and condemn yourself. Do your own and learn how to make yourself happy without these materialistic things. Some people will watch Davido videos and how he spends money and be sad for weeks, asking God why they can't enjoy similar things.

Give yourself time, a lot of it. Learn to adapt and overlook many things. Don't lose the ginger after just a few obstacles. There are ups and downs everywhere. Roll with people who have been successful with the american dream and learn from them. Unless it's in the extreme form abeg make we hear word about this racism nonsense. In summary and conclusion: No be everybody go make am for yankee, and no be everybody go make am for Naija. People can complain and complain over very basic things. some will complain over taxes like the electricity, roads, etc were provided by the greek gods. No be money dem use construct and maintain those things? Keep your expectations low so you won't get disappointed. The world isn't perfect. There's hardship everywhere, don't lose the ginger. Enjoy your life while you have it. Instead of complaining, ask people as e dey go and don't sleep on a bicycle.
