How many people have you employed? I keep telling you people that want to rush the ladder of success to stay away from my post. There are many graduates who have been looking for job for many months on the street.

What have you done for them? Have you given anyone of them job? Have you send money to anyone for upkeep? How many have you feed?

If you can't help anyone to survive then you have no right to tell them which work to do or not. Everyone knows what is good and bad for them.

If 100k is too small for you please don't crucify people that will take the job.

D what a wicked world someone spent 5 years in school to graduate and earn less than 100 dollar working from Monday to Saturday a month. God forbid BAT TIN angry e no go better for Naija. In 2014 as a young boy straight from secondary school I was earning 150 dollars N24,000.

Now a graduate is going to get less than 100 dollar for a month.

Damn emancipate yourself from slavery my people

Try all you can to get a first class or scholarship or in 2026 or 2027 if your target is Germany.

I'm currently on 4.50 and still have about 3 semester to go.

I pray it ends well.

I am learning German already.

My sister will graduate with a first-class this year.

Anything to leave this country mehn

There's no connections. Find a scholarship and switch to category A or a 2026 you go Japa if it doesn't increase more.

Omo.

This Is why I am putting effort into getting a First class so I can be In category A.

By next year, I will be able to apply with my first class.

I will start hustling scholarships too

Continue to deceive simple ones. Do you know the brain work, the mental work, the phone calls that went into getting the job. Does the Bible not say a labourer is worthy of his wage. So, if you were a job agent , you would get jobs and give people access for free? Continue to deceive yourself

We did not say to give the job for free but 50% ?!

That's ridiculous!

If I am paying 50% then I will have to bypass the Interview, and just start working, no?

the salary isn't why people hustle for opportunities there.

Have you wondered why you don't know when those agencies employ and even when you get information, you don't know who they employ.

They sell quotas

For the federal government? It Is kinda fair.

But for salaries like 40-60k? haba na!

I remember when I got my friend a job at a lounge, the pay was 50k per month. The first month she worked, she made a lot of mistakes and some money was deducted from the 50K salary.

Assuming she got the job through an agent, after the whole deduction, the agent will still collect 50%?

Also note, that most lounges don't accept taking tips.

20% Is fair! Which one Is 50%?

Stop it. Is it not just one month? Are the people going to help people get jobs without something for them to benefit from?

Is it not just one month you say?

Imagine collecting 50% that's WICKEDNESS!

Does the agent cover transportation for the month?

So If the working conditions of the said place Are bad and the person decides to leave the next month, they will still pay 50%

What's the role of an Agent?
What are they contributing?
Would they write a good CV?
Would the Interview be bypassed?

What exactly?!!

Yes.

Most of the writing jobs my sis has done were all from Nairaland.

All the good Nairalanders have left Nairaland. This place Is just filled with bigots now.

2016-2019, met a lot of super-rich people that I wouldn't meet In real life.

One nairalander even asked me if I was done with school so he could fix me somewhere(One of the top companies In Nigeria).

I wasn't done with school then, but I kept In touch until I lost my phone In 2021 and his contact.

I keep going through my mail to see if I can remember his name cry cry but I really can't. cry cry

N/b: my old account was banned for 70years cheesy so I created this one. cheesy

So I am thinking of traveling to Benin to for a course. The course duration is around 6months.

Now my problem is how do you tackle accommodation for a short period if you don't have people present in that place.

Besides this accommodation is also affecting people job search. My friend earlier Moved to Lagos after he got a job without any accommodation in place.

Please drop your tactics or strategy on how to survive.
(Besides rents are no longer paid monthly in Nigeriaundecided)

I use Facebook most time.

I searched "Roommate needed In so-so place" It brought out post of people who needs roommates. I send them a message from there.

Exactly, office cleaning pays 35k for a Monday - Friday job, while hotel /lounge /bar hospitality cleaning can be doing shifts but the problem here is that they would not allow you to work double shifts and earn double salary in the same hotel, if you decide to be working double jobs at two a separate hotels (morning and night shifts) how are you gonna meet up with arriving on early for both jobs and also you will not be sleeping at night or day coz u will be at work and automatically no holidays or off days for you.
In order words you will neglect yourself start looking like zombie to the extent that small time YOU WILL JUST DIE.

You are actually right.

Sad situation

In Lekki, some cleaners are being paid 35k

The only good thing Is that they run shift.

So you can get two shift jobs .

There are a lot of threads on Nairaland where people drop reviews of where they work/worked.
They drop how much the companies pay their staff.

Before you go for an interview, don't you google about the company?

Please, just get off my mention!
