hmmm... I must tell you the roads in Dubai and its environment aren't 100% perfect but virtually all their roads are motorable and they are always working on the roads that's are not good enough.. it doesn't take them up to a year to fix any road except it has many bridges and its a very long and wide road... UAE and Nigeria are not mates in anything in terms of all resources ranging from natural to human to mental... but the little they have, with resources, hard work, focus, relentlessness and fear of God, they have been able to be better than Nigeria in all ramifications... its nothing to debate about my fellow Nigerian citizens... this is where ive leaved for long....

This practice in Nigeria and other African countries isn't limited to Muslims alone any longer. you see young men marry more than a wife. some even marry two at a time. what could be their reason for this act? could it be that they are tired of their first wife, they no longer find her attractive? she isn't as sexually active as they thought? she isn't willing to bear plenty fruit? hide under religion? maybe hes too wealthy? probably because men are polygamous in nature?she doesn't have a particular gender of child? maybe their are note women than men and he want to reduce the number of single ladies? she is tired and needs a helper? she is barren? I don't think any of these reason can justify why men should marry more than a wife.

I think it's better to marry base on faith, that's of either of the partner is truly devoted. Faith comprises a lot of attributes (love, respect, humility, perseverance etc). If a partner truly hold firm to his or her faith, there won't be much struggle to show love.

Marrying base on love is limited to a particular factor. There might a physical attributes that attracts a partner to another. It can either be the teeth, personality, status, wealth, physique etc. Would the love still be there if those characteristics fades away? What keeps the marriage going after all those fades away?

It is frustrating that the word LOVE is being abused in this generation.

marriages these days is a whole lot complicated from the very beginning when partners are from different ethnic group, faith and social status.. All of these is on been duly considered when choosing a life partner. The point of discussion in this topic is faith and love. which would be considered when getting married? some people would only marry from their religion, some strictly from their church, and some would marry someone from another religion. which would you base your marriage on, LOVE or FAITH?

Fellas, I have come with the last but one part of my love story.its what's happening as of the moment. Please refer to my previous post for 1&2 of the story.Lo and behold, she accept to give me a trial still dating the dude. I stay in thesame area with the dude but the lady school abit afar from us. Severally, the guy goes around with other ladies and I tell our gf. All she says is that am trying to protect my interest. I stopped telling her about it.I just told her time will tell and the truth will not be hidden forever.its barely 3months now, our lady misplaced her fone. He offered to give her a fone to do her assignment in exchange for her laptop...he forgot to delete conversations with his lovers on the fone. The messages indicated he has affairs and even impregnated a tailor lady. Our lady was mad and told me all of dis. She confronted the guy when they saw. He denied and deleted the sms on her fone.the other tailor lady already confessed she was pregnant. She already returned his fone. He is begging and our lady is a compassionate being. I told her if she accept the guy back, I will opt out and leave them to be together till God do them part! Have I gone wrong with that statement?
