Erg2000: you know they said when a mad make manufactures something a fellow mad man purchases. But let me tell your and your fellow fools that if those fake drug you call traditional medicines harm anybody here, oh! I will burry them alive like the one berried recently in austria, i swear!
isnt traditional medicine better than smuggling hard drugs[/quote]A 22-year-old Nigerian, Jude Ejikonye Ilechukwu who resides in Thailand was recently apprehended by men of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, with 1.295kg of substance discovered to be methamphetamine.

Ilechukwu was arrested at the international wing of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos. The drug which was concealed inside his luggage, was detected during the screening of passengers on Ethiopian Airline at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
The MMIA Commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Hamza Umar, said the drug was carefully hidden in the suspects’ luggage.
Umar said: “Like several factory modes of drug concealment, we had to practically cut the bag open to detect the drugs.
“Ordinarily, when you open the bag, you will not see the drug.
“We found two brown parcels of drugs weighing 1.295kg.”
According to Ilechukwu, he was lured intothe drug deal by a friend he met in Thailand.
In his words: “I am a business man. I relocated to Thailand last year where I buygoods and send to Nigeria.
“It was in Thailand that I met a man who introduced me into drug business. He gave my number to his partner in Lagos who lodged me in a hotel.
“They made me to contribute N750,000 asmy contribution and promised me a handsome reward on arrival in Thailand.
“My focus was on the profit that will accrue to me. It was when I was arrested that I realised I had made a big mistake.”
The suspect attended Okija Community Primary School and Okija Grammar School, Anambra State before he started business.
He will soon be charged to courthttp://www..com/talk/topic,144975.0.html
Foreign Affairs / America Is Ready For A Female President-michelle Obama by ayswags2: 9:39pm On Aug 16, 2013
ASHINGTON (AFP) – US First Lady Michelle Obama says in remarks published Friday that America is ready for a woman president, but would not comment on prospects for Hillary Clinton getting the job.
Obama’s comments came in an interview with Parade magazine, excerpts of which were published on its website.
Michelle obama
Asked if she thinks the country will see a female president in her lifetime, the wife of President Barack Obama said: “Yes, I think the country is ready for it. It’s just a question of who’s the best person out there.”
She declined to comment on the prospects for Clinton running to succeed Obama in 2016.
Hillary Clinton, a former US senator and secretary of state under Obama during his firstterm, has been vague on whether she will seekthe nation’s highest office.
She left her post as the top US diplomat in February and polls released with the Democratic nominating convention still three years off say she is ahead — both in the Democratic primaries and in the theoretical general election.
Of Clinton’s prospects, Mrs Obama said, “She hasn’t announced anything, so I’m certainly not going to get ahead of her.”
She added that she herself will not run for president.
Obama also said she thinks her husband’s timein office has helped ease racial prejudice in theUnited States.
“Children born in the last eight years will only know an African-American man being president of the United States. That changes the bar for all of our children, regardless of their race, their sexual orientation, their gender,” Obama saidhttp://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/08/america-ready-for-female-president-says-michelle-obama/
Politics / Jonathan Johnson:nigeria Police Are Corrupted, full Of Armed Robber And Extortion by ayswags2: 5:01pm On Aug 16, 2013
Nigerian policemen are deeply involved in unlawful activities and lose their lives every day because of that, the Assistant Inspector-General (AIG) of a Police Zone 6 Command, Mr.Jonathan Johnson, has admitted. He also acknowledged soaring corruption in the Criminal Investigation Department (CDI) of thePolice Force. He made this statement during his visit to Akwa Ibom State Police Command in Uyo on Tuesday.
The AIG further lamented, "If you investigate our men, you will discover they are armed robbers. They are not contented with what they have.
"We go to the road to extort money from people, engage in illegal business, and liaise with armed robbers."
He, however, warned police officers who engage in criminal acts: when caught, they would be dismissed.
"No criminal has lived in his criminality and has never been caught. If you want to live in palava, you will die in palava."
He went on alleging that police officers sold ammunition to criminals, aided, abetted and manipulated cases, conniving with suspects and conspiring with criminals.
Johnson also alleged that police officers supplied hoodlums with information which aided them in killing policemen.
He revealed that it was a policeman that gave information to a community in Nasarawa State, which led to the hoodlums killing over 60 policemen.
He stated that police officers also became security guards for individuals and corporate bodies without any authority assigning them to the beat.
"The police officers turn themselves to security guards for individuals and corporate organisations without anyone assigning them. They also go on illegal duty for the purpose of extorting money from drivers andmotorists."
The AIG stated that the police officers would not want to pay for the houses they lived, concluding that all mentioned attributes workagainst the police, as the public no longer hasrespect for the police force.
He said, "We have turned tyrannical to the public, that is why we receive condemnation everywhere we gohttp://news2.onlinenigeria.com/headline/309456-nigeria-s-police-are-corrupted%2C-full-of-armed-robbers%2C-extortionists-%E2%80%93-aig.html
Crime / Ekiti State Pastor Impregnates Senior Pastors Daughter And Absconds by ayswags2: 4:52pm On Aug 16, 2013
Pastor Impregnates Senior Pastor’s Daughter
A 29-year-old pastor (name withheld) standing trial for allegedly molesting and impregnating his senior pastor’s daughter in Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti State, has run away to establish his own church.
It was gathered that the pastor whose case had just been transferred from the Ekiti State Magistrate Court to the state High Court was granted bail in July after being remanded in detention for about three months due to his inability to meet his initial bail conditions.
The new church, which he started in Ikoyi area of Ikere-Ekiti was said to attract a lot of people, having succeeded in taking away many members of the church where he pulled out.
The girl, Oluwadamilola who until her ordeal was an SS1 student of a high school in Ikere-Ekiti, gave birth to a baby boy on May 26, while the man was still in detention, over the matter.
Damilola’s mother said the father of the young pastor had entered a written agreement with the parents of the girl in March this year, promising that they would take care of the girl and her pregnancy but the alleged lackadaisical attitude of the pastorthereafter compelled the girl’s parents to report the case to the police.
According to sources, the embattled pastor had been organizing revival programmes andcrusade, calling members of the public who were not aware of his atrocities to come for miracles.
It was gathered that the middle-aged pastor was married, and this was the reason he hurriedly left the church in September last year when he realized the girl was pregnant and warned her not to let anybody know.http://news2.onlinenigeria.com/latest-addition/309556-ekiti-state-pastor-impregnates-senior-pastor%E2%80%99s-daughter-and-absconds.html
Crime / Nigerian Man Sleeps With Mental Patient by ayswags2: 4:38pm On Aug 16, 2013
A Nigerian nurse in the United Kingdom is facing a probe for having sex with his formerpatient, a conduct considered to be unethical.
He was said to have had sex with a patient after romancing her over a meal at a tapas restaurant while she was being treated for a mental breakdown, a tribunal heard Thursday.
The Daily Mail reports that Kenneth Ngobele quizzed the woman, a manic depressive, about her sexual history and her attitude to Nigerian men, it is alleged.
Ngobele later took the woman to a La Tasca restaurant and told her “You know I want to f*** you”, the Nursing and Midwifery Council was told.
The patient met Ngobele while she was beingtreated at Basildon Hospital in Essex followinga mental breakdown.
The vulnerable woman initially kept the alleged affair secret but eventually revealed allto health workers at a clinic.
Ngobele was working as a deputy charge nurse at the time of the allegations in 2009.
It is claimed he met up with the woman after she was discharged from the hospital and twice visited her home for sex.
He also threatened to release confidential information about the woman to her employer unless she met with him, the panel heard.
In a statement, the victim said: “Kenneth questioned me quite heavily about my sexuality, the number of sexual partners I hadhad, whether they were relationships, whether I had introduced them to friends and family or whether they were one-night stands.
“As we were walking, he asked me what kindof men I liked, questioned my sexual preferences and was being quite flirty.
“I was in a really bad way and suicidal at the time.My stay at the hospital was two nights. Itlooked to me as if Kenneth was avoiding work as much as possible and then trying to come onto me.
“Kenneth came into the female-only televisionroom to come and sit with me.
“Kenneth said, ‘I’m a nurse, I can go anywhere’.
“Kenneth stated that he had been studying me and he had noticed that I interacted with men very well.
“I remember feeling really freaked out by thatstatement.”
Just as the woman was due to be discharged,Ngobele told her she would no longer be his patient and they could meet safely, she claims.
He also wrote down his phone number in herdiary.
“He was staring at my body in a really sexual way,” added the woman. “Kenneth said that as soon as I get out, he wanted me to text him.”
When they met up for the first time, she said she was feeling “really manic”.
“One way it expresses itself is I become promiscuous,” she explained.
“I knew that sex was on the cards.”
Describing their meeting at La Tasca on June 14, she said: “Kenneth paid for everything. I remember him saying, ‘You owe me’ and saidit in a sexually aggressive way.
“As soon as the door closed, it became really aggressive.”
The pair then met up again on July 7 and again had sex but the woman then began refusing to answer his calls.
During an internal interview with trust bosses, Ngobele at first admitted some of the allegations.
But soon “his assertions began to shift, with him creating an alternative scenario”, the panel was told.
Tope Adeyemi, for the NMC, said: “It is submitted that all of the registrant’s conduct was sexually motivated and constitutes a gross breach of his privileged position.”
Ngobele was sacked following the investigation. He denies all the charges he faces at the NMC hearing.
If found guilty of misconduct he could be kicked out of the professionhttp://news2.onlinenigeria.com/headline/309618-nigerian-nurse-faces-probe-over-sex-with-ex-patient.html
