Advise to e-exam student (100-200)

This is the period that you can build your GP if possible don't have below 3.5 in this period.

To get a good GP know the following:

Do your tma well, have a minimum of 30/30 it possible

Study your TMA well for exams because it is the area of concentration

Read your materials because some questions will come from them.

Have a group discussion group sometimes you remember what other says faster than what you read
Remember a single mark can make a difference between A grade and B

Never rush to enter the exam hall

Note dates, places and names they come out more in fill in the gap

Ask questions from people that goes in before you if they care to share

Never go to your centre late

Again build your GP now. I never had my GP dropped during this period not until POP and even sometimes you have missing results when doing POP so what you build now helps you.

TMA should be over now but if you have one or two to finish contact me or WhatsApp#09051481358

For more clarification on you can private chat me.

For everything, there is a cause and effect. Your GPA doesn’t just go down without certain mistakes on your part. If you have realized that your academic performance needs attention, then it is not too late to take necessary actions. This article exposes the possible 15 mistakes that may have contributed to your GPA drop.

Using gpa calculator, so many persons are having less than 2.5 on a GPA scale of 5.0. Although there are events you cannot change or avoid; such as getting sick, getting bad news and so on. However, there are avoidable GPA killing mistakes.

This article is intended to answer the following frequently asked questions:

1. How do I raise my GPA in university?

2. What makes my GPA go down?

3. What are the strategies to raise my GPA in university?

4. What are the mistakes that kill GPA?

5. How do I maintain a good GPA?

6. Is it true that 100L and 200L GPA is usually low?

Identify them below and boost your performance as soon as possible.

GPA KILLING MISTAKES YOU MUST AVOID.

1. FAILURE TO OVERCOME PROCRASTINATION

The 14 letters above is the grave where opportunities are buried. Don’t push things to the future if you can address them in the present. Killing time is not murder, it is suicide. Don’t wait for the exams to be close before you begin adequate preparations.

One reason you should stop swimming in the ocean of procrastination is that you cannot predict the future. Today is the only asset you are sure of. Say no to procrastination.

2. COMPARISON

Comparison is not a proof of anything. Life is not to compete but to complete. You say; “Mr A uses this approach and it works for him, so let me do the same” or “I want to be like peter”. Now, who is Peter? I don’t know but certainly not you. Just be unique; look for what produces the best result for you and stick to it.

3. PRIDE

Nothing kills your GP faster than when you begin to form ‘Mr Pompous’. when you are proud, you become too heavy for people to carry. Humble your self to learn what you don’t know. Ask questions, seek help even from your juniors.

4. YOU ARE TOO SHY

You are too shy to relate with people. Have you forgotten that according to research, you
remember a lot when you teach others or engage in group discussions? if your GP being affected because you are shy, it is time to work on yourself.

5. BAD COMPANY

Are your close friends those who are not serious academically? then stop complaining about your poor performance. Like I always say, your friends are the picture of your future. Review your association immediately.

6. YOU SLEEP TOO MUCH

You can’t be sleeping too much and expect your GPA to be awake. Too much Sleep hasn’t helped you o. You need to check and balance that thing that makes your eyes always close.

7. YOU BLAMES OTHERS

You always have reasons to blame your lecturers or friends for your poor performance. In the beginning, it was not so. The earlier you start taking full responsibilities for your life, the better.

8. YOUR LAST SUCCESS

You relaxed because you did very well the other time. Have you forgotten so soon that your last achievement is your greatest enemy? it doesn’t make sense, but it does. Look back occasionally but forward continuously.

9. YOU SETTLED FOR LESS

You decided to take anything that comes your way. Have you forgotten that any GP can be 0.5? go for what you want. Don’t let anyone tell you to settle for less. Your GPA trend continues until you decide to aim for the very best.

10. INCONSISTENCY

It is better to die standing than to continuously live in your kneels. Don’t have a scattered academic or reading life. Be consistent in your dealings.

11. SKIPPING CLASSES

Some of the things your lecturer say in class are the prophecies of your exam questions. You skipped the class, there you missed the rhema. Academic Rhema is the key to your success.

12. YOU DIDN’T COMPLETE THE SCHEME

The part you left out may likely come out on the exam. Try to cover as much as possible before the exam. The issue of not completing the scheme can be overcome by starting early and being consistent.

13. ADDICTION TO TECHNOLOGY

Your addiction to Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, twitter, games, films, phones and so on, are not helping matters as well. Try to put some limits on your social life.

14. NOT IMPROVING YOURSELF

Self improvement is the beginning of self discovery. Don’t use last session’ information to solve this semester’s reality. Learn how to answer exam questions. 15a in school politics/unionism you are there without thinking of what brought you to campus it will also make your GPA drop

15b . DISTRACTIONS FROM OPPOSITE SEX

You should be able to explain this one better. You are permitted to allow distractions from the opposite see b . That is, if it doesn’t’ affect your GPA. Else, run very fast. Tell yourself the truth in this aspect. I just want to make common sense

HOW TO CALCULATE NOUN EXAMINATION SCORE AND TMA

Exam is around the corner and majority of candidates wants to know how NOUN grading system is when it comes to calculating Exam Score and TMA.

Follow me as I teach you….

NOUN Exam is over 70

NOUN TMA is over 30
TOTAL: 100

TMA means Tutor Marked Assignment. For your registered, you are entitled to 4TMA, of which you must submit before end of the semester exam. After submitting, it will be graded over 10, but the best three TMA will be considered and be chosen, which makes it 30.

Take for instance: Let’s taake GST102 as a course case study. Let’s say, TMA 1 – 9.50
TMA 2 – 10.0
TMA 3 – 9.00
TMA 4 – 10.0

The best 3 are 9.50, 10.0 and 10,0 – which is equal to 29.50 over 30

Now the question is, how do i calculate my exam score plus my TMA score?

I must tell you, it’s very simple!

You should note that, all NOUN questions doesn’t Have the same number of questions, some have 100, 120, 150 and 35. The courses with 35 are most of the time MTH courses. 100 and 120 questions are 2unit courses
150 questions are 3 unit courses

Anyway, let’s get into business…

For Example: (GST102)
After GST102 exam, you checked your score and you scored 95 out of 120 questions. And in your TMA for GST102, like I said earlier, you scored 29.50/30.

To calculate your total score over 100, use this formula:

Formula:
x/y x 70/1
That is, let x = what you score in the exam, and y = total number of exam question, which simple means, EXAM SCORE divided by NUMBER OF EXAM QUESTION multiplied by 70.

Whatever your result is from the above calculation, you’ll now add it to your tma.

Follow me with this calculation:

Exam score (x) = 95

Total number of exam question (y) = 120

Therefore, it will be 95/120 x 70

The result is 55.41 (NB: your TMA score is 29.50).

Now, add 55.41 and 29.50 – Result is 84.91

Which means, GST102 = A

also, note, you’ll follow th same way to calculate if your exam question is 100 ot 150.

But in the case of 35 questions, all you need to do is multiply whatever you score by 2.

That is, if you score 20/35, it will be 20 x 2, which is equal to 40, meaning that you score 40/70. But sometimes, it will have been programmed in such a way the calculation would have been done. You’ll know if it is.

You’ll see your score over 70.

NOUN adopts the general grading system, find it below:
0-39. — F
40-44 — E
45-49 — D
50-59 — C
60-69 — B
70-100 – A
