successking401: im interested with this ur suggestion bro.abuja is my base Then u can go into packaging consumables, e.g we packaged thousands of bottles of original honey and we re working on increaing our capacity to 10000 bottles daily this Jan...coz its affordable and in high demand. Soup spieces pacaging is also very ok,production of drinks is not also a bad one......you can also be our distributor. Most of these business can run with less than 60k and with as low as 24k u can be our distributor and make over 50% profit after sales. Think of these and u can get back to me on d one u need deep info or training. |

signz: I think Buhari administration should do as the new Argentine President did by reducing export taxes ASAP.
I just saw something, though it's not yet confirmed that banks will automatically change FX currencies in your domiciliary account to Naira without your consent. That's a critical area the govt must look into,to drive foreign exchange and drive revenue |

Pavore9: I share your thought, export is the way to go. My brother who is locally producing his products in Lagos would begin exporting his stuff to East Africa in the next 2 weeks and that will be earning him good dollar inflow into his domiciliary account. Bro I'm happy for ur brother and that's a smart move, and hope u are following in his direction? |
Business › Re: Alternative Way To Make Payment In China by Ayus34(m): 9:05pm On Jan 02, 2016 |
chiefkpokp: Happy New year to you all, This 2016 is our year! Say amen.
We all know about the recent policy of bank to disable naira Debit cards abroad mostly china, dubai and so. With this policy many mini importers will be badly been sent parking to their villages even though they have the Nairas in cash, but no way to get the cash to shop online from china based shoping site. As an importer, all through the ending of 2015, all what I was thinking was the alternative back door to get money accross to get goods. Now I arrived at this, should incase all debit cards from naija banks are disabled completely, do not worry, there is still hope to pay your manufacturer.
Now I think some of my options can be of help to somebody, this is what has worked. 1. If you have a trusted 3rd party freight company based in china, I mean companies like Chrisvicmall, nonnykings and others who handles your shipping to Nigeria, you can as well bargain with them to use a friendly Chinese rmb(yuan)- naira exchange rate, if settled then you can deposit Naira equivalent to their naira base bank account with receipt of evidence and confirmation from the beneficiary of the account, and then over there in china should you want to make payment to your suppliers, then your freight company can simply do this for you over there since your naira is with them, but I doubt chrisvicmall, because they would want to charge for service, But Nonnyking won't charge but what you need personal rapor. 2. Payment for sites like alibaba,aliexpress,taobao,dhgate,1688, you would now need to have alipay to be able to continue shopping on this site, since your naira debit cards won't be accepted anymore. Please note that having alipay(CHN paypal) is not as difficult as many (china) importers claims. The difficult part is because alipay does not accept Nigeria telephone for verification. But there is a way out, register gmail sms-email and you will be given USA number instantly free of charge, so when registering alipay chinese, just choose USA, then use the gmail sms number, then alipay will send a code for verification to your gmail inbox so its easy, or you can get a usa visual number, but I prefer the gmail. So now that you have alipay, your freight company can also transfer your money to your alipay so that you can use it conveniently to make payment on any Chinese site that accept alipay. Also note that since your alipay is not binded to any bank account, then you cannot be able to withdraw it, only to make payment. I hope this helps, like I said if you may this options you need to rapor with this freight companies, I no chrisvicmall do service charge, but try nonnyking, and do not forget that this year, many importers will hands up because of no way forward, but the few that will remain will be enjoying it wella. This is just my says. Just in case you want to credit your alipay so that you can as well be free to make payment for goods, you can contact me, I can transfer money to your alipay with attractive conversion rate of naira-rmb. And you can even use your alipay to pay your china freight shipping charges....instead of paying naira in their Nigeria office with sky rocking dollars-naira rate.... If gurus in the house can also contribute their own alternative way will be appreciated. U are blessed! |
Business › How To Survive The Dollar Crises In 2016 by Ayus34(op): 8:50pm On Jan 02, 2016 |
Its really a difficult time for must Nigeria business people, especially the importers who deals on exchange almost daily to import goods to the country, with daily dollar transaction. As an experienced importer and enterpreneur that is also a victim of this dollar crunch, I'm ready to share with the house on how we restructure and business to surmount the challenges.
This is the time for nigerians to begin to see opportunities in our adversities and its a challenge to the youths,to bring their creativity into bear and turn into valuable products or services for global consumption....and this is the best way to diversify the Nigeria economy. Let me use an example of a Nigerian that produces a particular product when a 1USD =180naira and exported it out of the country and assuming the same producer is still into business and he exported same product out of the country today when 1USD is now =280, it shows the same man is 100naira richer.....this shows that if our nation where to be more of export driven nation, we would have been better of today. So the solution to this whole problem as of today think more of a local product that will be made available for global consumption, and also reduce our appetite for foreign goods consumption to encourage home grown product for global dominance.
So many products and business we can venture into in the new year,to help secure our financial freedom, and contribute to the economy success of the nation in building the GDP base.........its a fact that prosperous citizens will transform to a prosperous nation.
I will decidate this thread towards answering to questions of people who want to get things done and also want to share from our experience, will as well take my time to give practical solutions/answers and open our eyes to opportunities that abound for us to tapp from. I believe Nigeria problem need Nigeria solutions and together will can climb the ladder of success in the new year. |

Despite d fact I'm not in support of the violent agitation of the IPOB boys,I think the north sud concentrate more on how they can develop their boko haram ravaged region.....they ve no right to tell any region if they sud secede or not, afteral they re the one dragging this country backward that make it so unliveable for a right thinking human being, threatening others for a lawful agitation is a cowardice act, afterall they re not the owner of nigeria, but if the north want to claim ownership of the country, then they should prepare to fund it as well!! |

T8ksy: You are quite right on the point! There's hardly any yoruba family you'll see nowadays which doesn't have all the major religious denominations, present, hence our tolerance for each individual 's religious leaning.
In fact, I make bold to assert that yorubaland is the only place on this planet earth where people of different religious affiliations lives in utmost peace & brotherhood. My father is a Muslim while my mother and the eight children re Christians, infact I enjoyed the last sallah and prefer sallah over other festive mood coz its always sure a ram or cow must be punished! |
