Bisi Akande, the former APC interim chairman once said Jonathan is a trainee president. At that time it sound as if d man was insulting d president but since that statement most steps taken by d president are always misteps which shows he's truly a trainee president. Sometime we need to listen to what pple say about us especially our enemies cos it might just b d truth which will help guide our path and correct our mistakes. I want to advice our president and his advisers to always think deeply b4 acting bc every of his misteps make other nations of d world look down on us. Tinubu and his political actors didnt use force as we v always known about Nigeria political loosers rather they went to court and won Edo, Ekiti and Osun state tru the Judiciary process, today many will say that process was manipulated to favour AC Party as at then but bc of d path they took and lack of evidence to prove manipulation every election looser who feel they were rigged out now go to d court, this is what I expect from d President and his handlers and not d taking of laws into their hand. Jonathan need to graduate from trainee school if his next four years (assuming he wins 2015 election) in office will not b full of silly mistakes.
Politics / Re: Can PDP Force Speaker Aminu Tambuwal To Resign? -Attorney Patryk Utulu (USA) by ayuse(m): 9:13am On Nov 01, 2014
Nigeria is d way it is bc we allow sentiment becloud our sense of reasoning and judgement. According to Nigeria constitution the speaker of d HOR or President of d senate is not elected base on party affiliation or which party has the largest member, we should get that right. The constitution says they will elected someone from among them. The contention should b whether Tambuwal after defecting to another party can still remain as a member of d HOR and not whether he can remain as speaker. As long as he is a member of d house he has d right to remain d speaker except 2/3 of d house impeach him. PDP should not take d law into their hand rather they should go to court and prove there is no division in Sokoto PDP and ask d court to declare d slot of his constituency in d HOR vacant. Any other thing done by PDP is illegality and a bastardization of d constitution. Also d PDP should stand on a high moral ground by asking all the members of d state HOA including d speaker in Ondo State who decamp from Labour party to PDP to vacate their membership of d HOA, Then and only then will they v d moral standing to pursue Tambuwal's case to a logical conclusion without making the entire world think they remember what d constitution says when it affects their selfish interest. Lets build this Democrasy with proper understanding and application of d constitution.
Politics / Re: Why I Built New Ekiti Government House – Fayemi by ayuse(m): 6:06am On Oct 24, 2014
I wonder how an intelligent person like Fayemi ended up being a bad leader. I see nothing wrong in building a befitting government house but not with loan. He could take loan to build a government house but could not take loan to make Igemo Ekiti produce as much RICE as possible so nigeria could reduce the quantity of imported rice, this would v created so much job so Ekiti pple wont b hungry such that today they are being insulted as hungry pple. Fayemi should take a deep reflection bc each time he try to defend the building of d government lodge he makes being highly educated a cause.

Nigeria Presidential election is not won just by d number of pple who vote for u, the number of state u win also count. If candidate A have the highest number of total vote cast and candidate B win in 2/3 of the 36 states + FCT, candidate B wins the election.

grin Am laughing, All of the sudden Buhari is making wave in the social media. We are now blogging, twittering, face booking and so on, abusing the man that make this happen. freedom of information! Do u guys really thinks that when this new found saint in Buhari will tolerate this kind attack from social media as GEJ does! sure freedom of information will be death. Once a soldier always a soldier!!
Jonathan did not make freedom of information/speech possible, it is one of d most important element of democrasy. As a matter of fact in democrasy freedom of information/speech come b4 development as important as development is. Also when it comes to expressing divergent view from that of d government, Nigeria has never been found wanting even under tyrants like IBB and Abacha we had pple who were speaking even when it means their life will b in danger. So stop attributing freedom of speech/information to Jonathan.

Concern Nigerian, I can assure u, u will be shock after 2015 election to know many Nigerians actually support the nonsense going in Nigeria. They will rather vote a man who see reckless looting of our common wealth as mere stealing than vote a notherner, they will rather vote a man who made our government look docile and incompetent when it comes to addressing issues than vote a muslim. I discovered majority of Nigerians are actually d reason nigeria is d way it is. Majority of Nigerians see issues in a myopic way. I will not b surprise to see Jonathan win 2015 election bc a pple deserve d kind of leaders they get. The leadership of nigeria not just d presidency even governors who get as much as 400billion a year with nothing to show for it is a reflection of who we are.. We will rather vote for a christian bc muslims have always being ruling than vote for someone who we all know is competent. We will rather vote a southener bc notherners hve always rule us even when we know that the southern candidate is the worst among the candidates presented for election. I sorry for my Country. After 2011 election I concluded Nigeria deserve all d rubbish happening in Nigeria bc majority of Nigerians support the nonsense happening in Nigeria.

13 Notable Quotes From Gov Ayo Fayose During His Inauguration
7. "Fayemi had the money and power, but he disconnected himself from the people.
13. "That government house you are looking at, when we finish here, I am going to lead you there.
You are going to sleep there tonight. Open all the rooms and sleep there".
I wish for a day like ds when our leaders will stop disconneting themselves from d pple, when d government house will b made accessible for d common pple, when they will freely interract with pple who voted them, then and then only will they feel d pain of d common man. Thank u Fayose for making it happen.

Politics / Re: Disobey Fayemi’s Curfew, Fayose Tells Ekiti People by ayuse(m): 10:47pm On Oct 15, 2014
TUNFOL:
Kk. Let me tell you what Ekiti people see in him. They see in him a true friend, an accute advocate of the masses and a big man with ear to listen and solve the problems of the downthroden wheither he is in or out of government. How did it start. Immediately Niyi Adebayo governmet started in 1999, Ayo fayose arrived from know-where, erecting sign-post of 'Ayo Fayose 4 Governor-2003' everywhere in Ekiti-state. I mean he started this in 1999, when the new governmet was just inaugurated. Nobody took him seriiously, expecially when it was discovered he was contesting under PDP, when SW seemed to have vowed to remain with Awolowo's Party-AD. Fayose continued his campaign, undisturbed for 4 years. He practically ran a parallel government. He had a mobile health services and portable water supply system which he made available to all and sundries at no cost. He was solving the problems of the masses. Things Government was suppose to do and failed, he was doing it without collecting allocation IGR or tax from anyone. There was a time Adebayo could not pay civil servants salary (like Fayemi is owing them now) Fayose asked the government to give him the parol of all the civil servants in EKITI, he would pay. For the first time, Adebayo government felt treatened. To cut it short, Fayose defeated Adebayo, the sitting governor @ the poll (I wouldn't go to the drama and story of PDP primary election that produced him as PDP gubernatorial candidate in 2003, leading to the political demise of S.K.B Babalola) Niyi Adebayo's government lacked structural development in Ekiti State because it was 'paddy-paddy' government. The fund of the government was seriously channelled into funding personal embarkment of some greedy traditional rulers and elites (some of who you see in E-11 today). When Fayose came in 2003, the greedy Obas and the so called elite expected a continum of Adebayo's 'shua-shua' but Fayose did not only decline, he lambasted them in secret and in the open. Then the battle line was drawn. They used everything @ their disposal to fight him. They started with his Ibadan Poly HND certificate scandal. They employed the power of media and intellectual tool. Yet the guy triumphed. They did not stop there, they waged all manners of battles. He also is not a diplomatic person. The more they fought him, te more he fought back. An average Ekiti man knows the battle he was fighting. They were aware he was fighting on the side of the poor masses against the selfish elite. It was a 'class' war! Despite his multi-various battles, development works was going-on throughout Ekiti. Roads were been tarred, dualisation of Ado road commenced, Education was improving and beautiful tources was put on government schools. Health and sport was growing and low cost housing estates was being built in the State. Above all, all workers got dia salary, unfalingly on 27th of every month. Nobody was owed. There was always activities two to appoint the best teacher in schools and the best in other professions (He started the idea of Teacher's Day) People will have enough to eat and there will be ankara for all. He was very accesible. He moved freely in the State and his direct phone number was with everybody in the state. You are free to call your governor @ anytime and he will pick. If he couldn't pick, he will return your calls. Now how many councillors can even do this let aloone a governor. There are others. When I am less busy, I will discuss them.
Thank u 4 ur timely response. On a particular thread I try enlightning Nairaland that Fayose will always be loved by d ordinary ekiti pple bc in his first tenure he used both his money and d state resource to better d lot of d common man and was impeached by d effort of d elites who wanted Fayose to share ekiti allocation to them but he refused. when Fayemi got there the pple thought he will continue where Fayose stopped unfortunate he served only d interest of d few elites that was why he was voted out to gv room to a trusted friend. unfortunately pple tend to blv d media propaganda of d elites who want Fayose to continue their interstest why d common pple suffer. This time around the pple of ekiti will protect their interest no matter what pple outside d state say about them. Rather than take loan to develop d agricultural sector of d state Fayemi prefer to take loan to build an gorverment lodge unfortunately for him he will not use it for it for even 1wk. Pple should stop listening to propaganda and respect d decision of Ekiti pple. I also was disappointed in APC bc I tot they will study what happenened in Ekiti election and correct their mistake unfortunately they decided that rather loose Ekiti they will use every means at their disposal to prevent d governor elect from being sworn in, they are begginning to make me think they are not a good alternative to PDP.
Politics / Re: Osun Poll Today, What Is Happening In Your Area? by ayuse(m): 4:02pm On Aug 10, 2014
Many Nigerians lack d capacity to look @issues objectively. For those who say Ekiti voted stomach infrastructure all I will say is that u pple know nothing about Ekiti and also know nothing about d voting pattern of d Yorubas. The Yorubas look critically @ d available option and votes for d better option that is why u see d Ondo pple sticking to Mimiko and Ekiti pple voted Fayose. One thing APC pple continue to miss and that will destroy them in 2015 is to understand d voting pattern of each geopolirical zone, they think once they say they are progressive then anybody in their fold is progressive and can b forced on Nigerians. Till 2moro Fayemi's achievement in 3 and half years is not close to a quatre of Fayose's achievement in 2 and a half years. If u dont believe, reshearch what Ekiti was b4 2003 and what it was by 2006 and what it is now. 90% of Fayemi's work is window dress of Fayose's work for example Fayose dualised Ajilosun down to oja-oba to okesa to Fajuyi to ilawe road from fajuyi to Adebayo then Fayemi constructed walk-way by d side of the road dualised by Fayose and some ignorant pple who know nothing about Ekiti are saying Ekiti voted stomach infrastructure. Go to Ijigbo towards ajilosun and asked pple who v lived upto 40years there what d site where u v Eco-bank, oja Fayose and d environ use to b. That place was a slum that sinks anything u put there, the whole of that place and houses in Ijigbo to Ajilosu used to be flooded, Fayose created a canal and reconsructed d entire place and today u see big buildings at that same site. Ekiti fire service was dead b4 Fayose came anytime there is fire incident in Ado they will v to wait for Akure fire service which usually take about 2hours for them to arrive and u can guess what would v happened in 2hrs. For lack of time I will tell u pple to go to Ekiti and ask why Fayose was so much loved even when he was not contesting for any political office. Fayose's removal was organized by those who felt Ekiti is thier empire and as such Ekiti money should be shared to them and Fayose refused, unfortunately he lacked the wisdom to handle them. As for sharing of things during Election, Fayemi also shared rice and also shared money on election day. Also in Osun APC shared rice, there is hardly an election in Nigeria where things are not shared. I v always wanted APC to flourish so that they can serve as a check and alternative 2 d ruling party. Unfortunately for them they dont learn from their mistake rather they are insulting d same pple they will ask to vote them come 2015.

Each time I go to Delta State, I get pained to see how docile they are. The Governor is practically doing nothing yet u never see them agitate even if nothing will come out of their agitation. The only ongoing project in that state is NDDC and Ministry of Niger Delta project. When u make enquiries u will find out that their traditional leaders and elders who ought to pressure the governor to do something are only interested in getting their own share of the state money. When u look at the resources available to Delta State then u will be force to say Abia State Governor whom many of us says is doing nothing is doing a great job. Delta State pple need to wake up from their slumber.

I am sorry but your "mentality" as Fela would call it is low. You do not have the tools to debate this subject.
Your father should not just hang his head but hang himself
Why are u been insultive because someone express is opinion just like u express urs. U presume u are the only one who has better idea. All of this leader who keep asking we pay the exact cost of education got free education when agriculture was our only source of income. The reason why they cannot provide quality education is not because the resources is not available but because education is not their priority. This present crop of leaders are more interested in looting Nigeria resources than doing anything for the common good. Since LASU started paying high school fee did the quality of education provided improve? Our GDP is low because our leaders refuse to judiciously invest our resources. The same leaders who pay a senator about 65million naira quaterly for costituency allowance which is above 25billion naira annually for 99 senators and over 40billion naira annually for House of Representative went to China to borrow 75billion to install CCTV in Abuja and 2years after installation, the CCTVs are not working. Let me tell u Nigeria's problem is not resources but greedy pple who wants to milk Nigeria dry rather than developing it. A lot of Nigerians still cannot afford the existing cheap education and they deserve to get good education which Nigeria can afford if our resources is well utilized.

A chamelon can not change its skin. If Omisore like let him copy Fayose 1million times he cannot be like Fayose. Whatever Fayose did was not done bc of ds election he has always been like that. Let not Omisore think his pretense will automatic make Osun pple change their perception of him. Whatever worked for Fayose was what the Ekiti pple saw in him for a period of more than 10years.

I am amazed at many of the comment I see on this forum. you pple should stop condemning deeper life, the fact that they have one error or the other does not make them cultist. Every work of God in the hand of man has one imperfection or the other and God knows that, because God knows man has imperfection inherent in him, that is why Apostle Paul said we know in part and we see in part. until we get to the other side of eternity man will always add imperfection to God's work that does not make them occultic or unaccepted by God.
