I really appreciate your intention. If you really want it to be impactful make it 10k 10people. With that amount the beneficiaries will be able to buy food stuff to last for almost the extended time. Even if you make it 1k each, some people who need it will still not get it.
I also want to suggest that the money should go families with atleast two children who are 10years and below.
Everyone who indicates interest should private chat you with prove that they have family with the above criteria and that at this period their means of lively has become inactive and that they do not have any form of savings.
You can then post the names of those you are convince meets the criteria for us to vote whether or not they should benefit. You can decide how many vote a person should get in order to benefit. The first 10 people to get the required vote should be the beneficiaries.

I can assure u people, that akara joint will buy some people's vote. I witness a scenario where they were giving a particular woman reasons why she should vote a senatorial candidate and her response was why will she vote someone who has not given her money. A lot of Nigerian voters will only vote the candidate who gave the most. Most of us who feel we must vote wisely either do not have voter's card or registered in places where we cannot vote.
Politics / Re: Our Economy Is Going Down,Nigerians Must Tighten Their Belts-Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala by ayuse(m): 4:10pm On Sep 15, 2016
Some of us knew Nigeria was heading this present economic woes and so we engaged a lot of people to vote for Buhari with the hope that he's smart enough (haven shown interest for twelve years to govern us) to halt the impending disaster. Rather than halt our movement to disaster, he hasten it. Rather than engage the economy by ensuring we produce as much as possible the things that consumes our Forex within his first one year, he was busy claiming body language. This government was so relaxed in its first one year as if all was well and when we began to see signs that all is not well, rather that focusing on things will strengthen the economy, they wasted their energy blaming the past government. We knew the past government was incompetent that was why an incumbent President was voted out so we don't need this government to remind of the past, what we expect them to do is get to work, revive the economy and alleviate the suffering of Nigerians, anything less makes this government more incompetent and clueless than the previous government they like to paint black.

Imagine the Shiite group insisting the General convoy turn back under the authority of their leader, thats amazing. Let's not become cowards because of bokoharam, pple must learn to be civil, how can any Nigerian block any road in Nigeria and ask the COAS turn back because of their procession, that's how militia groups started in Somalia and today that country is completely lawless with each warlord holding unto communities thereby making the country ungovernable. All leaders must instruct their followers to be civil. I would have been disappointed if the COAS had turned back. It's annoying that while driving on a major in Nigeria, a group of pple will block the road and expect u to wait until they are done with whatever they are doing. Apart from other civilians caught up in the process, the group deserve what they got.
Politics / Re: My Take On Ben Murray-bruce's Unintelligent Tweets On Buhari's Trips by ayuse(m): 2:23pm On Nov 30, 2015
Nigerians should learn not to misplace their priority and we must learn to make our point without sentiment. If there are issues we feel the president should attend to we should let him know objectively without missing up issues. All the president's trips are necessarily, Sending a representative for the trips he has made so far amount to being absent. Take for instant the meeting going on in Paris, where about 200 presidents are gathered, if the president sends a representative, it is as good as he being absent from the session where other Presidents hold because no one who is not a President will be allowed in such session, likewise the common wealth world leader conference. If we want our President to attend to pressing home needs, we should pressure him to do so without asking him to ignore international relations. Telling the President to ignore international relations for home needs is to criticize just for the sake of criticizing. What we must do is to pressure him to ensure home needs does not suffer as he engage in international relations. My believe is that if home needs suffers it is not because of the important trips but because he has not put proper measures in place which we must pressure him to do without asking him to ignore important international relations.

OP learn to read an entire section b4 jumping to conclusion. U circle subsection two which says "the person declared winner was not qualified" however subsection three, the one after what u circled says "if the person declared winner did not score the highest vote at the primary of his/her party, the person who scored second highest vote @ the election shall be declared winner" that is the section the tribunal relied on as a matter of fact, INEC official told the tribunal that PDP did not conduct primary election which means PDP did not even have a candidate that is PDP was not represented at the election

It seems Buhari did not learn from his past. The last time he was head of state he was betrayed, today he stayed aloof when it came to choosing who heads the National Assembly. He allowed a man who can betray anybody including his father, sister and friends manipulate his way to that position. I fear the same fate that befell Bihari in the 80's await him, time will tell. I also see that our ways of getting things done in Nigeria has been badly corrupted that is why Nigerians could be calling what happened at the senate smart, while it is not legally wrong, it is morally corrupt and Nigerians must begin to insist on sound moral pathway if we will get things right. I wonder why Saraki cannot allow his party member to be present b4 election like that of the house of reps if he truly mearnt well for Nigeria.

Nigerians should not allow themselves to be fooled by propagandal. FIRS takes 10% of what they generate as running cost. Last year FIRS generated about 5trillion naira. Does it mean that 10% of 5T is a dash to FIRS? Only 60% of crude oil earning goes to Nigeria, the remaining 40% goes to d company exploring d crude for Nigeria, does it mean d 40% is a dash to those companies? B4 alpha beta, Lagos IGR was less than a billion, today alpha beta has done a good job to make Lagos IGR what it is. Lagos is the only state in Nigeria that can survive without federal allocation all bc of the hard work of the same man being blackmailed. Even FIRS had to learn from Lagos inorder to increase Nigeria IGR. Some other states who had learned from Lagos has increased their IGR. Rather than blackmail we could ask for accountability. I even blv Nigerians should ask other Nigerian states to learn from Lagos how to increase their IGR. Lets not destroy our Nation with the campaign of hatred bc of politics.

When I say APC followers like the one I quoted has got no brains, people think I'm joking.

Mr Man, if you know nothing about Gloria Okon, ask and you shall be educated. Gloria, a drug courier was arrested with heroin under Buhari's administration, she was said to have spilled the beans by mentioning the drug barons who she worked for and these people were people in high positions of authority in Buhari's government.

A couple of weeks after she allegedly named names, it was announced that she was dead.

Why did Buhari not take action against those mentioned?

Why did he not investigate her death as there were rumours that she didn't die but was smuggled out of the country.

Those are the question that shows Buhari's culpability.

ayuse take note of the explanation too. I know Nairaland is populated mainly by teenagers who know nothing about Buhari.
And who are the teenagers u are refering to? U can put across ur explanation without been condescending.

Lets agree she died while Buhari was head of state, are u pple in support of her activities (smuggling heroin)? That she should not have been arrested for such terrible activities? or that she should v been given VIP treatment for smuggling heroin? Pls lets not loose our sensibility simply bc u want to discredit Buhari. Today we see NDLEA looking for, arresting and prosecuting drug dealers, we saw what NDLEA took Baba Suwe through just to prove that he was smuggling cocaine, should we tell them to stop doing their work since to GEJ supporters Buhari regime's arrest of Gloria is evil. Those who want Jonathan re-elected should do so with decorum and stop promoting immoral and low life activities.

I am afraid we may not v d nigeria of our dream for a very long time except God in his mercy decides to dash us good leaders. As long as electing leadership is concern it may takes those who are well elightened a lot of work and time to elighting d average Nigerian what democratic leadership is all about. As at now an average Nigerian will elect their leaders for d very wrong reasons. 2011, I tried asking pple why they are going to vote our current president and I heard them say bc he his from d minority, he was once poor, he was persecuted by d cabals who didnt want him to take over from Yar'dua etc and I asked do you know his performance as a former Governor and almost all d pple I spoke with didnt care about his performance as a Governor, they didnt even want to access his performance as acting President. They claimed as an acting and substansive President he cant do anything bc he's not serving his own tenure and even today some foolish pple still say he cant take serious decision in his first tenure but that when he gets 2nd he will perform and I am like a man who couldnt do much in almost 6years how much will he do in another 4years. The truth is Nigerians deserve d leaders they get. The only hope Nigeria has is that d few enlightened Nigerians will work very very hard to enlighten d majority of Nigerians who v very very bad idea about leadership.

You see you cant answer that simple questions because specifics are difficult, but general statements are very easy to make.
The business will not come without adequate infrastructure in place basic ones like, security, roads, electricity, water, good schools, hospitals.
and major ones like Airports, seaports, rail, good hotels and good policies that makes business worthwhile.

Gov. Akpabio is doing his best in most of these areas to create these infrastructures that will enable business to thrive in his state. And if you look on all the above areas he is doing a marvelous job.
Government dont build industries, if they do it usually not sustainable. So Akpabio should keep putting the infrastructure in place and the private sector will respond.
If u read my first post u will.see.d.specifics there. That Government dont build industries is a lie told by Capitalist to make pple see reasons why Government need to sell its industries to capitalist. Only incompetent government say government cannot run industry. Government can run commercialised indistries, Nigeria is gradually becoming a capitalist economy and to make d economy grow fast government will v to enter partnership with private sector or build commercialised industry. The only thing that is d problem of government running industry is corruption which is affecting every thing in Nigeria that is why even regulatory agencies cant do thier work well. If we wait for only private organization to run our economy I can assure u, it will take a very long time for us to get to where we want Nigeria to b. Even d federal government know that, that is why it keep building electricity infrastructure and then privitize for investors to run. Akpabio without doubt has done well but he should v brought in investors to establish industries and loan them d money he used in building some facilities that will only b a burden to d government. I am in love with d standard of roads, schools and other basic infrastructures built by Akpabio. But money used in building facilities such as Stadium should v been loaned to investors to build industries that will in turn generate money for d state.
Politics / Re: Food For Thoughts On The Akwa Ibom Stadium by ayuse(m): 6:09pm On Nov 14, 2014
That Akpabio has done well for his pple is not debatable. His work speak for him. Its unfortunate some pple see some of our contribution as hatred. Today d price of crude oil has fallen below d budget benchmark, thank God we are ending d year assuming ds happened around March ds year Akpabio would v find it difficult to found Akwa-Ibom State. Most likely d price of crude oil will continue to fall which means next year Akwa-Ibom will not v d kind of money it has now. What many of us on ds forum has been saying is that Akpabio should v invested d state money on things that can generate money so that whether federal allocation from crude oil decrease or not d state will b unshakable bc it has its own money generating sources. UAE some years ago started investing much of their oil money on things that will b another sources of income, today that country is still rich in crude oil but it no longer depend on money from crude oil so d fall in price of oil can never affect their economy, as a matter of fact they are now saving earnings from crude oil while their economy is sustained by d economic hub they created with their oil money, thats d kind of economy we anticipate oil rich states like Rivers, Akwa-Ibom, Delta and Bayelsa will build for their pple.
Politics / Re: Food For Thoughts On The Akwa Ibom Stadium by ayuse(m): 4:33pm On Nov 13, 2014
With d kind of money available to Akwa-Ibom, I expected Akpabio to build petrochemical companies that will b run by private organization or even take licience to build a refinary and partner with private company to raise money for construction and management of d refinary or build a textile industry or build a technology village or build a tomatoe paste industry where d tomatoes wasting in d north can b processed. Nobody should tell m a tomatoe paste company is not viable in Akwa-Ibom bc everyday Kenya transport perishable Agricultural products to Europe. Sometimes I wonder if d pple who get to bcom our leaders v common sense. Nevertheless I must commend Akpabio cos atleast he has done so many things with d money afterall there were pple b4 him who did nothing than to loote d available resources. May b its time Nigerians awake and pressure our leaders to do vialble project rather than build self gratification projects.
