Happy weekend.... Please I have a question.

Are the TMA questions universal for all students taking a particular course or different random sets of questions for all students?
Enskynelson:

You can apply for MBA provided you don't have less that 2.2. That set date most likely won't be feasible as dropping of courses which is supposed to be like 2 weeks before close of registration is yet to commence. If you have your registration fee (about 125k) for the semester, you can apply and register in a week provided you can apply for your transcripts from your Alma mater and present evidence.

Try it in the midnight if you are actually trying to register courses without funding first... NOUN charity programmes run from 12am-5am prompt.

Bossman, fund that wallet jare.

Same as I.

Have you gone for verification, if yes.... Load your student wallet with 89.5k.

That is the total cost of everything.

Is the matriculation ceremony attendance compulsory for all freshers?
Enskynelson:

Yes. But the form is meant to be uploaded back to siwes.nouedu2.net. The form is printed for the same site and after signing should be uploaded back there.

This is what you get when there is no clear ideological differences between the political parties in a democracy.

Anybody can move from one party to another at a whim.

In a saner clime, this issue will be moving whichever party with socialist ideologies on a clear path to victory in the forthcoming elections but seeing that there is no opposition, no sane ruling party will bring this kind of anyi-masees policy in an election year.

Now figures in the ruling party are playing opposition.... Goes to say much about the chain of command or non existence of one in the executive for the past 8 years.

Democracy in Nigeria is worth giving its own name... Calling whatever we are practicing here democracy is an insult to other democracies in the world.

This is what I got after registration
Enskynelson:

Check very well. The registration should rather be 2023/1 as last semester was 2022/2.

Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Azaboy: 7:26pm On Feb 12, 2023
Boss.... You might want to make some corrections on your submission about POL SCI 100L... The courses for Political Science 100L first semester are in the screenshot below.

The total cost of everything as a fresher is 89.5k... Though I funded 94k based on your prior submission... I hope my balance will be safe till next semester.

Thank you.

Hope there will be no issues?

Chai! Can't believe I wasted my time reading the entire course materials of Introduction to African politics and Public Administration for nothing.... I even made written notes for revision during exams cry

I have been reading the PDF format of my course work downloaded from nounaid long before completing my admission process (3 course materials dusted, presently halfway through the fourth)

Is the pdf version word for word same as the hard copy?

Just want to know if I am on track.
Enskynelson:

If it's because of the receipt, just note the RRR number before you pay for it. Screenshot or write it down. After payment, use the "resend receipt" to alternate number on Remita to resend the receipt to any mail you want and get the receipt there. Time is going and even some students that have completed one semester still don't have student email.
Cheers.
Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Azaboy: 9:40am On Feb 09, 2023
I got my matric number on Monday and I have been able to log in to the student portal but my email is reading "Couldn't find your email address".

And I don't think it is advisable to fund my wallet for school fees and course registrations payment when my email is yet to be activated.

I have gotten my matric number...

*Is there any way to generate remita and pay through bank transfer?

* Is it true that I have to go back after school fees and exam and course registrations to get clearance at the study centre before I can sit for exams?

* Busary said school fees is 90k (is this for all payments?)

* As a fresher, do I have to be concerned about projects?

Thanks in anticipation of response from seasoned professionals.

I am staying at Mushin... There is no other study centre close to me.
Enskynelson:

You can still change your study Centre since you haven't been verified yet. You can choose any other one closer to you. It's not only verification that you do at the Study Centre, you also take your exams there too.
Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Azaboy: 7:51pm On Feb 03, 2023
Haaaa... VI is quite far from my place of residence.... They ought to be be processing student verification at Cappa.

Which kind set up is this one?
Anthonyo15:

VI
Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Azaboy: 6:27pm On Feb 03, 2023
Thanks but my question is... "I am a new student who chose Mushin study centre as his preferred study centre... Where should I head to for my verification and collection of mstricu number?"

Cappa or VI?

Thanks.
Anthonyo15:

THERE ARE 7 STUDY CENTRES IN LAGOS (Currently 6 Active Centres)

1. Vi (Lagos Study Centre)

2. Obalende (McCarthy Study Centre)

3. Apapa (Vi & Ebutemetta, has it annex at Cappa Oshodi)

4. Mushin (Vi - annex at Cappa Oshodi)

5. Badagry Study Centre

6. Ikoyi prison

7. Ikorodu Model Study Centre (Pending)

Mushin Study Centre shares same building and address with Vi(Lagos study centre) and it annex is at Cappa, Oshodi

Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Azaboy: 1:34pm On Feb 03, 2023
A 300L student of NOUN told me that there is no study centre for verification at Mushin that I have to go to VI study centre for screening and exams when it was stated on the website that Mushin Study centre is one of the available options.

Please help me verify if there is indeed a functional study centre at Mushin, Lagos or not.

Thanks.
Enskynelson:

Please ask for your Remita payment number let me check if he has done all that.
If he has done all that correctly, then you can go for verification.

I am not understanding.

He claims to have completed the process saying that the only thing left is to go and collect matric number from the study centre.... My question is if I go to the study centre and present my credentials....will I be asked for the admission letter or is the admission letter not needed for physical verification of the credentials?
Enskynelson:

You cannot upload without admission letter.
Admission letter is even part of the things you upload
Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Azaboy: 1:29pm On Feb 02, 2023
The guy handling my admission process is delaying the process, he has uploaded the credentials on the platform...... Can I proceed to the study centre with my credentials for verification (note: I don't have admission letter).

Will I be verified and given matric number?

Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Azaboy: 8:52am On Feb 02, 2023
Good morning. Do NOUN open for admission screening during the weekend (Saturday and Sunday)?

Enskynelson:

You know what do delay people normally is the Thesis and not the examinable courses. So, it depends on how fast you can finish your Thesis.
Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Azaboy: 8:11am On Jan 29, 2023
I have completed the online admission process and will be going to the study centre for screening..

What should I expect?

Will I be expected to pay school fees before getting course materials?

Will I be given matric number after screening?

Please I hate going in on somewhere blind... Don't like surprises..

Thank you.
Enskynelson:

This is because PhD students are rarely seen and the information available is not much in the cyberspace. The person who wants to do PhD in IT could consider ACETEL or NOUN PhD programmes.
Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Azaboy: 3:17pm On Jan 24, 2023
Been having issues with my admission process since Sunday... Can't make a transfer to remita fidelity account to pay for my admission form.... Transaction keep failing.

Very frustrating.

Will the credentials be scanned and verified online or presented in person at the study centre for verification?

Enskynelson:

Yes. Exams registration alone for each of those courses is 6,500.
