I've said it severally that ETH is not the problem of Man.U. he is a fantastic coach. 2 trophies in two years. If they still sack him, they should prepare for more problems. Congrats to United. After everything, they still found a way to pull off a miracle. Now the pain goes mostly to Chelsea. Their last minute magic could not save them from going to the conference league.

Go to warri and see what yahoo boys are doing there. You would marvel. The yahoo boys in Ikorodu dey learn work. Go to Benin too and see. The biggest supporters of Yahoo boys are our musicians. I remember that endsars protest, I wanted to join cos truly SARS has been a problem but when I saw yahoo boys sponsoring and joining the protests, I had to calm down. Yahoo boys wanted sars out of the way so badly and now we can see the results. They are coming out very boldly ever since sars was disbanded. Well... Sars also fumbled and got what they deserved. It disgusts me to see people hailing fraudsters here in the south. If you trace the root of ritual killings between Ikorodu and Ogun State, you would find that it leads to these boys. We are not yet ready to deal with fraud cos only few people are speaking against Yahoo boys. Some people would even tell you that Yahoo is far better than armed robbery. That Yahoo removed robbers from the streets. Nigerians sha. Na we dey do ourselves.

RomanceRe: ‘Monogamy Doesn’t Work, Every Man Should Have Multiple Women’ – Seun Kuti by Azazyel: 9:05pm On May 24, 2024
y3mi:
Most big / rich men prefer monogamy because it truly affords them the opportunities to misbehave as they so please when they see fit...

Before I proceed, polygamy as used in my opinion is within the scope of 'Polygam Responsibly'. So shelve whatever presumptuous thoughts you may have in your head.

Contrary to popular views, polygamy would make a man live long than these much touted nuclear family system called monogamy. I can make a table chart where both can be compared and contrasted side by side with their list of advantages and disadvantages.

Monogamy in that table only has just one advantage over polygamy, and it is a factor which I've been unable to resolve theoretically stating. However, polygamy check marks all others bearing more advantages than disadvantage.

One of the advantages is an assured peace of mind, one which has to do with the management stability that renders the life of the husband to last much longer than those trapped in the quisling and wilderness of monogamy.

Importantly, I've noticed that most of the reaction to that word is founded on false assumption, which in its own reality is prevalent in the society. The idea of been a 'loose cannon' is what fills up their thoughs at the mere mentioning of "polygamy". It is high time 'polygamy' should stopped been miscontrued as promiscuity.

They are in fact not the same. More precisely, polygamy will curb whatever tendency in a husband married to multiple to not live like a wild-dog, it will curb it, it will force him to become sexually and socially responsible. Why would he want to screw around when he's got nine beautiful ladies at home.

Monogamy on the other hand, do not only affords hypocrites the unhinibited opportunities to scale a fence, cheat, manipulate, even in spite of all the matrimonial vows made. It verily provides so much leeway for promiscuity in all forms of adulterous activities.

Polygamy is the marital commitment between a responsible and capable adult man with at least two sensible and matured wives.

Based on the reality of today's world, it is advised to ask your ori before going into polygamy, personally I will not recommend it if you're not capable. I repeat do not go into polygamy if you are not prepared to live a life of commitment to stark responsibilties. Otherwise you will suffer your wives.

Ensure you have capital to run it. It is not just by having lengthy and bulging member or been tall like dongo. Capital is the most important factor that trumps all in today's capitalistic and materialistic world.

Do not betray your wife by imposing yout right to bring in a second wife. That is not polygamy. That is abuse of contract which you sworn, and so you must leave with or at best, settle for divorce which I personally frown upon.

Polygamy is ensuring your would-be first wife knows what she is getting into from the onset. That's part of been responsible. Not after one lady has been with you through thick and thin, some even aborted since you weren't ready, and finally boom, you blew, then you saw reason to marry a second over her while citing ruse such as saggy boobs and wrinkles tummy. Oga you no normal.

Femininity has reserved curse that afflict men that does so, I'm not asking you to believe it or not. That curse go worry you.

And finally,
Most big / rich people prefer monogamy because it affords them the opportunities to misbehave as they so please when they see fit. With their wealth, they have the mechanism to ochestrate it without the spouse they are sworn to to knowing, polygamy gives you restrain.

Check out the excess population of young females luring about, who are their preferred targets 🎯 ? Married rich men trying their best to live a monogamous life, they argue that such married men are responsible to their wife, and so when he's budgeting, he adds their demand and expense to his budget.

It's so worse that these ladies do not want to settle with a moderate guy who is ready to settle but prefer to become the Nth baby-mama to a rich man, yawu boi or politician. These are the deep result of a society pretending to make monogamy work. All the hotels and brothels are patronized by monogamous spouse.

Why is it only Fela Kuti you see as to cite example, why not many successful polygamous white folks like Brigham Young who is the second president of Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Saint Date, marrying a total of fifty six wives. Their are many list of people out there who live a successful polygamous life, now even world celebrities are popularizing polyandry which is Life Version of it. Why in your shallow understanding made you conclude HIV/AIDS don't kill monogamous couple(s). There are individuals who have compromised themselves before settling with their innocent partner into a me-and-my-wife monogamy.

Polyandry is allowed for those who want to engage in whatever it technically means. But think deep about it. How is that viable. One woman responsibly married to multiple husbands. Well, let's imagine a capable and wealthy woman married multiple partners as husbands, so each one of them gets offsprings from her or how does this work. Polyandry/Adelphy sounds like formalized promiscuity to me.

Can you make a list of them in short phrases.

Not ready because the perks and opportunities monogamy affords cheating monogams is not worth speaking the truth over. Polygamy is an herculean task, even as a rich and wealth husband, but that which has it rewards while making you gainfully responsible.

Can you make a study in your locality or area, to 📝note down the statistics of widows who are still within the age bracket of marital activities and extrapolate which category they fell into, is it monogamy or polygamy. Come back here and present it to us... Then, I can believe you, not the presumption you posted up there.

You're too much. You truly did research and it came out spot on. See all those people saying polygamy is bad are actually being deceived by foreign religion. Europeans and Americans don't believe in it. They believed in monogamy. However this is Africa and polygamy has always been part of our culture. Infact if you look at the same Bible, you'll see that most men there were polygamous. In monogamy, the man would eventually have to be begging his wife for knacks. Imagine the humiliation! Whereas in polygamy, they compete to have the man.

PoliticsRe: Rufai Oseni: When Will A President Of Igbo Extraction Become Reality? by Azazyel: 3:31am On May 23, 2024
It may likely not happen so far the core northerners are involved in politics. That Biafra issue is still making them apprehensive. In politics, you have to be a master of deceit but unfortunately, most igbos don't have that trait. They usually come out plain and without much tactics. I don't have issues with them having Biafra. If they want it, it shouldn't be an issue. The British have given the core North ideas on how to rule Nigeria especially based on numbers. I've said it severally that Yorubas are not the enemies of Igbo people. Know this and know it now. I've seen a lot of people blasting Yoruba people because tinubu is president. In actual fact, the core North did the job to pepper South Easterners. Now we can see that the north central people have most times dissociated themselves from the core North and that offers a glimpse of hope. Igbos, work together with Yoruba people and other tribes even the north central people. They are your assets right now with which you can use to seize power. It's common sense but will they listen? Not every battle is won in confrontation mode. Sometimes you just have to be sleek about it.

500k as minimum wage? There's no sense in this except It is just a negotiation strategy. It would only cause inflation x10 cos Nigerians are so wicked. Once traders notice that minimum wage is 500k, just get ready to see magic. Bag of rice would become 400k. Farmers would do their own too. Everything would be too expensive. House rent would become like 10million per year for self con. embarassed anything above 100k is not sensible for now. I don't know if labour union can fight for workers to be paid per hour. If people are paid hourly, I believe there would be shifts and more spaces for people. Well... I might be wrong. Just thinking.

IGBO/BIAFRA VS TINUBU/YORUBA:
TOLERANCE BECOMING A CRIME
By Dr Chinedu Akabuike

1. Why do we hate Tinubu?
What for?

2. Tinubu never worked with federal or Eastern Nigeria let alone stealing money from Ndi Igbo.
He never worked as Minister or taken any Federal Appointment!

3. He never joined APGA let alone sabotaging our Party's interest?

4. Tinubu didn't meddle in Igbo internal affairs either!

5. Why do we call him thief?
What did he steal?

6. We call Yoruba "slaves".
We never reflect on what it means to be slaves in the true sense of the word.

7. We are putting mouth in Lagos politics without caution, yet we have a proverb that says it is the foolish housefly that follows the corpse into the grave.

8. Can Yoruba man become an Association or Local Government Chairman in the East? Let us be sincere with ourselves.
Yet, we enjoy all these privileges here including Assembly Membership!

9. Why asking for what we can't give?

10. We are here helping the "slaves" to develop their land. Who then is a slave?
10b. You call their city a no man's land so that we can further be enslaved slaving to develop it, and our generations are wasted gloating over mere privileges.
Who is a slave?
Do we actually think?

11. Can Yoruba tell Okorocha "o to gee" in Owerri?
He doesn't even need it.
He is too intelligent to die for a pot of ofe manu or nothing.

12. After the civil war, for many of us who were old enough to have witnessed it, the Yoruba were the first to open their arms to receive and accept us as we were, crude savages in search for means of survival.
It was regardless of what we equally did to them before and during the civil war. No party to the civil war was innocent!
I also remember not paying any rent among Yoruba guys without a penny for my first 3years in Lagos and another 2 years in Ibadan.

13. Can we survive Yoruba attack in Yoruba land if they actually mean to?
Will an Mbaise man cooperate with the Nsukka or Afikpo, or the Imo with Anambara?

14. If we all decide to relocate at once, Babangida send me home phenomena is still in the memory of some of us who survived the incessant and uncontrollable spate of robbery across the Onitsha bridge.
How many people will want to go in spite of our empty pride?

15. If Yoruba people are as foolish as we foolishly think, why agitating?
How will agitating be to our benefit?

16. Why not "O to gee" in Abia, Enugu or Owerri?

17. Can a man from Aba become a Commissioner or Perm.Sec. in Enugu State Civil Service?
Yet it happened here!
Why not be careful.

18. We adopted APGA and but "wisely" voted PDP.
How was Tinubu our headache.
Was he the cause of our downfall?
Why always blame others for our inabilities and want to take glory for any small thing we think we have done well and even overblow it?

19. We claim we were so creative during the civil war.
Now history.
We also claim every made in Nigeria is from Aba.
But go to Oyo and Osogbo to see what "lazy" mechanics are doing quietly in the automobile industry, yet we make noise that other ethnics are either mumu or lazy except we (alagbara ma mero baba ole; the most hardworking humans who cannot develop their own land unfortunately).

20. Why looking for avoidable problem? Why?

21. It was you in the North being attacked, in Malaysia being killed, in Gabon and Ghana being molested. 99.9% of Nigerians killed in South Africa are of Igbo extraction, and sometimes by fellow 'hardworking' Igbo. Why?

22. We choose Kanu and he dictates to us without consultation with any one of us. They choose Tinubu who becomes a hero among them by bowing to or adopting the choice of their majority.

Why are we angry?
We chose Azikwe and they chose Awolowo.
How are they more mumuish followers than ourselves?
Zik became a President and we gained from it, Awo was only a Premier, but we are only struggling to beat their records in all ramifications including education till today.
How are they mumus?
We chose APGA and they chose APC, why agitating?

Yoruba are yet to say Tinubu is their problem why do we want to die for nothing?
Why working in APGA but planning to collect salaries in APC?

I pray for the success of Biafra, but do we still remember that as Igbo we will automatically become foreigners on the streets of the Lagos we call a no Man's land?

How many of us will actually want to relocate home, should Biafra actualises or if citizenship is on the condition that you relinquish all other citizenship in Africa?

I leave that answer to the individual.
Nwayo nwayo biko unu.[/quote]Spot on!

undecided

This has nothing to do with anybody liking anybody.

Nobody has to like soldiers. Liking soldiers is not a requirement for citizenship. They are government workers paid to do a job - and the problem is that the job just isn't being done.

We have soldiers besieging a building in the heart of the capital city while real threats to national security lie unchallenged in our forests, hills and mountains. undecided

This is not how to get things done.
Nobody said fighting civilians is the right thing to do. It shows how indisciplined the soldiers are. My point is that there are certain people from a particular tribe on this forum that would bash soldiers at any given opportunity even if they show discipline and achieve success. We've seen it many times. Whenever the soldiers in the North East give briefings about successes achieved against insurgents, this group of people would say something like: audio killings, show us video, only one terrorist killed e.t.c. Then when the soldiers are killed by terrorists, you'll see them so happy. Don't act like you don't know what's going on. It's evident. The soldiers are actually trying their best against the terrorists but as you can see there are saboteurs within this country. So you actually think soldiers can win the war without exposing and prosecuting the sponsors? The solution to the insurgency is simple. Why is the president keeping mute on the sponsors? No prosecution, nothing! Soldiers are just pawns in the game.
