The first image is the verification email that was sent... And he has no access to the mail, according to him it was just a random mail he used in opening the acct then

The second image is me trying to change the verification method. But I hv to pass some account activities questions. Which I hv failed to pass time over time. And he too doesn't even know anything about it.

This is one of the reasons why I would not advise getting a used Xiaomi phone except if you have confirmed the Xiaomi cloud account is off the device. That guy who sold the phone to you needs to help you out at the moment. He needs to reach out to that person who owns the Xiaomi account. Why is he behaving like that? Was the phone stolen? So far the number attached to the account is still in operation, setting a new password should not be an issue. Why would he use a random email to operate his personal account. This kind talk no make sense. I have multiple email addresses and I can remember them.

Okay you have to restart the process:

Go to the website, click on forgot password, enter the phone number and a verification SMS would be sent. Remember it should be +234 format to ensure it is received

Boss the worst has even happened. I don't know if I mentioned that the previous owner has unlocked the bootloader. So I was just browsing through the settings and I got hit by a xiaomi cloud lock.

Worst is the previous owner no longer has access to the recovery mail. Is there a chance I can reflash miui or custom rom on it since bootloader is unlocked. Also Wil I really by pass this phase if I do?

Try this:

Yes it's exactly the one. I noted 3 issues

1. I'm seeing Helio G90 series which isn't supposed to be. It should display Helio G95 precisely. G90 also uses Mali G76 which makes it quite suspicious. I hope this phone wasn't taken apart.

2. Look at the temperature. 46°C is hot! It is recommended to limit your gaming with this device as the heat could fry internal components.

3. The CPU is staying at maximum speed even after minimizing which is quite weird especially looking at the power efficiency cores that all stayed at 2ghz. Immediately you minimized, they should have dropped speed for power saving since the ram is holding the game especially cos of the high temperature. Your phone CPU is overworked. The CPU settings have likely been tweaked. The phone might pack up soon or the heat escaping from the screen might liquify the adhesive holding the screen to the phone. The best you can do for your phone now is to reduce game time, play at low to medium settings, try and sell off the phone probably to a non gamer then add some more cash to get a brand new phone

Yes play for like 2mins, minimize the game and quickly open the CPU Z app or Devinfo to see if the CPU cores are reaching maximum speed most especially the two largest cores. You can Screenshot and post so I can see. Also check the temperature.

Yeah playing against AI is less burdensome for the phone. Go to your MTN access point and change the APN to gloflat. Remove that normal address there and just put gloflat. Let's see if it would help with your network speed

The hardware is operating weakly. Download CPU Z or devinfo and check how your phone's CPU is operating whenever you use it. Redmi note 10s has a powerful Helio G95. Monitor the GPU too

I play Efootball too on my phone. My phone doesn't show 4G+ but my game is smooth as butter. I believe it's your phone. The frame drops is from your phone. It might be getting so hot and it's trying to cool off

Sorry for being too harsh too. Now why am being unnecessarily serious about it is that we play this football game Efootball mobile, on the phones showing 4G+ the Player vs player online gameplay is smooth. But on mine, there's so much skipping and stuttering (even while I have a more powerful hardware). In the end the logical conclusion is that the network I have on mine isn't fast enough to support the seamless gameplay. That's why I'm trying to see if I can tweak the network band via any sort of setting and force it to connect to only 4G+ rather than the normal 4G.

That 4G plus means nothing. What network do you use? Your phone has a higher max download speed sef at 390mbps but the same upload speed with the Pop 8 at 150mbps. It's either your network or your phone's Chipset is doing some throttling to prevent overheating and damage. She might be playing on low graphics while you are playing on higher graphics

Oh I've seen the devices now. Sorry for using the ignorance word. Tecno Pop 8 doesn't use LTE. It's just UI design. Don't let that plus fool you. Your Redmi 10c uses LTE Cat.13 while her's is LTE Cat.7. so now you can see that you're wrong

LTE would show as LTE on the status bar. Just as advanced 3G would show as H+. What is the name of your device and the other device where you saw the 4G+? If you can give me these, It would definitely prove me wrong if I'm wrong

That 4G+ you're seeing is just the way Tecno made it appear on their status bar. It's the same thing with your 4G. There's no difference. That plus doesn't mean anything. Network speed is mostly dependent on the modem in your phone's Soc. What is your phone model and what is the model of that person's phone?
