A week later


'Lord,it is only You that can do it,yes,You've done it and we say it is marvellous in our sight,therefore,take all the glory in Jesus' Name...In Jesus unfailing Name we have prayed'. 'Amen' they all chorused as Kelvin completed the prayers.

It was a full house. Nene sat beside Nathan and rested her head on his shoulder while Nathan held her hands firmly but yet tenderly. It was so obvious that she was the happiest woman on earth. Kelvin and Jolade sat st the other side of the couch while Kaka sat with Mabel opposite them. It was indeed a great reunion with Christ present in their lives. They had lunch in Kelvin's place and were catching up on old times when an some set of people arrived. Jolade's mum and her siblings. She rushed to her with tears on her face. 'Jolade,I'm sorry,I know I have been such a bad mother,please forgive me...' 'Mum,I forgave you a long time ago,it is okay' Jolade replied genuinely.

'Please,help me to beg Mabel too...'

'I already forgave you too' Mabel said smiling.

'Same here' Kelvin and Nathan replied simultaneously.


'My fiancée and I have decided to drop the charges against Myra,let's just leave her alone' Nathan said.

'You sure say Nene gree??'

'C'mon,I did' Nene replied smiling shyly looking at Nathan who in turn caressed her cheeks. He looked at her and saw the changes in her. The old Nene will never agree with that,over her dead body.

He chuckled softly. 'Baby,what is it?' Nene asked. 'Just thinking about the old you' Nathan replied. Nene was about to talk when Kaka spoke out.

'Nene,you need to know something. Although,everyone is aware but it is not right to put you in the dark,you have step siblings'. Chidinma and her children came in looking at Nene intently for her reaction.

Nene smiled 'I'm not surprised,it's what my father is capable of doing'. Everybody heaved a sigh of relieve as Nene opened her arms to receive them.

'We are one big family'. Mabel said smiling.

'Yes,we are'. They all replied.


Epilogue
Nathan and Nene had their wedding in the same church. Afterwards,they gave birth to a bouncing baby boy who was a carbon copy of Nathan.

Kaka and Davidson also got married and lived happily together after.

MozB spent the next five years searching for his life partner but eventually got after he seek for Nathan's and Nene's forgiveness.

Chidinma got married to a man who loved and cherished her and she. lived happily with her husband and children thereafter.

Mabel stayed alone with Nathan and Nene always checking on her with her grandchild.

Amen was sentenced to eighteen years imprisonment with hard labour.

The Doctor came out of the ward and stared at them-Kaka,Nene,Mabel and Chuks unsure of how to break the news to them.

'What happened to him?' Mabel spoke first.

'Well,we Doctors only try but the ultimate healing belongs to God. You know by the time you brought him here,he already lost so much blood...

'And what? Just go straight to the point and tell us...

'We lost him' The Doctor blurted out and left their presence almost immediately.

Mabel screamed.

Kaka rushed to her side.

Chuks had an heart attack,slumped and died immediately.

Nene insouciant.


Four days later

'Nene, why are you doing this to yourself? Why? You can't continue like this for the sake of your baby,yourself and mummyM. You've refused to eat anything since,you are not even talking to anybody. Kainenechukwu,please be happy for Nathan...' Kaka continued saying while Nene just stared into space. A knock distracted her,'come in',she said. Then came in Jolade.

'Nene,the Lord told me Nathan is not dead' Jolade said turning to look at her.

For the first time in four days,something piqued Nene's interest as she turned to look at Jolade.

'Where is he? Has he been buried?' 'No,he is still at the mortuary' Kaka replied.
'Let's go' and together they left.

On getting to the mortuary,Jolade spoke to the person in charge and explained the situation to him and he allowed them in. When they got in and saw Nathan's corpse,Jolade couldn't help but pity Nene.

Pray. The Spirit said.

They started praying. They prayed for hours non-stop yet nothing happened. It got to a point that the attendants in the mortuary asked them to keep quiet but they didn't.

Praise. The Spirit said again.

They started praising again and nothing happened. Nene herself was at the verge of losing hope but God brought out an edifice of hope from the remnants of her past.

A bright light shone from heaven upon Nathan's corpse and there was a mixture of lightening and thunder from heaven and with loud shriek,Nathan cried out 'Thank You Lord'.

The whole mortuary was in chaos. 'This is another Lazarus,Dead body rose again...' filled the air.

There and then,Nene let it all out. She started crying.
