Thanks... I sent them mail and the restriction was removed without any further request Ralphlauren: Its possible the £1000 you were credited with was proceeds of crime/fraud. If the money was obtained via criminal means (e.g. romance fraud or BEC) , you may have unknowingly helped this person launder money. This is one of the risks involved with exchanging pounds for naira especially when you do not know the person you are buying from and neither are you 100percent certain the source of their money is genuine.
Contact revolut and see what they say. I don't expect them to provide you with any concrete information but be prepared as they might ask you questions relating to the transactions.
Best case scenario, they remove the restriction on the account and/or they close the account. Worse case scenario, it might end up as police case and/or you are reported by the bank to CIFAS as a perpetrator of fraud.

When did you finish your bsc or any recent university course in Nigeria, if it's very recent, you can get a letter from the school attesting you did your program in English.
If not I guess you will have to write ielts academic module 2013 is about 8 years... If it's within 5years it would have been better. But not to discourage you, send an email to the address below and discuss your options with them, and also ask if you can get a letter from your Nigerian university that you did your program in English internationalstudent@dundee.ac.uk |

BolaT53: Good evening everyone please I got my unconditional offer letter from Oxford Brookes university as I have paid my deposit. I’m just seeing now that the English language requirement is IELTS academic but I submitted general instead and yet I was still given an offer. Please was it that they made a mistake and is IELTS compulsory to apply for my visa. If the school gave you unconditional offer and have not told you explicitly they need an additional ielts from you, it means the school has used your general ielts to assess you... The school will state it on your CAS that they have done their English assessment on you via online and you don't need to submit any further proof English to ukvi. |

sheunwizzy01: Hi guys, I have about 1.3 million in my personal account, my parents would be giving me 1.7 million naira to support my masters studies. Now these are my questions: - I am opting for self funding, do I still need my parent’s statement of account or mine is enough to present when applying for the study visa? Please note that I have about 3 million naira already in my account like that....
- what are the “supporting documents” required of me to present for the Study visa application? I hope the whole 1.7m from ur parents was not deposited into ur personal account recently as a lump sum.. If so, it's a potential red flag.. |

Ceeflo: Good evening,
I’m not trying to deviate from the ongoing conversation, and would like to encourage anyone applying to believe and provide all the documents accordingly and you’d be fine. You would only get rejected if you falsify documents or aren’t able to convince them over your interview (in the case of older applicants).
Now, to my question. Has anyone been able to successfully purchase flight tickets to Lithuania ? I can’t seem to get a direct itinerary/ linked flights to Lithuania and I’ve been hearing it might be a problem to travel with two separate tickets. I understand that there are people here who have some experience with these things and some also also making the trip. I’d massively appreciate your thoughts and insight. Thanks in advance. Try Turkish airline, they have direct flight from Lagos to Vilnius, that's if your desired traveling date is not fully booked... Turkish airline is not among the banned airlines by Nigeria govt |

shawnmich: Pls anyone that submitted his or her visa application form at VFS office so far for this year resumption, has anyone got his or her visa. Please signify and let the rest of us know our fate. I was at vfs Lagos today to submit application. Although I cannot confirm if they have approved any visa yet, but i can confirm they have started calling people for interviews. This is because, while we were outside on queue waiting, vfs officials came to announce if there is anybody that came for Lithuania interview, and only one guy stepped forward.. I pretended as if i didn't hear the announcement, and i met the official that did he say Lithuania, and he said those for Lithuania interview was who he called. |
