Treason is a highly punishable offence and in a more advanced country like China where the Most Excellent XI Jinping reigns supreme, he'd have been put in a cage and submerged into the middle of India Ocean
Unionism or Activism isnt anything close to this. He's a terrorist and he should be treated like one and No, it has nothing to do with Igbos
He called for the killings of military men and top Govt officials, all those have nothing to do with fighting for your tribe
In country like China, corrupt politicians and drug dealers will also be executed by firing squad, the likes of tinubu, Akpabio, ganduje etc would have been gone... you are a hypocrite
Neddstark: Your papa don calm down, you wan fight? One on one VDM is a smarter guy, he has the fans. Now that the story is dying down, leave matter. If VDM give you war, you go wound o.
Na fans be judge for court...una go just dey talk base on sentiment and emotion that's the big problem with some of you guys...
Bobloco: Deji, Tinubu can be beaten. He was beaten in 2023, where he secured a miserly 37 percent of the total votes cast; come 2027, he will still be beaten again. In fact, this time around, he will be beaten mercilessly, blue-black like a common criminal that he is.
In the next election, the gap with which APC will win win be very big cause the PDP and LP am seeing with all the internal crisis won't be a match for APC...deji hit the nail at the head
fergie001: In January 2012, Lawan chaired the House of Representatives committee that investigated the Nigerian government's fuel subsidies. The committee was set up in the wake of nationwide strikes in Nigeria after President Goodluck Jonathan removed a fuel subsidy. This resulted in the increase in price of fuel.
The committee's report released in April the same year revealed a huge scam in which Nigerian fuel companies were being paid hundreds of millions of dollars in subsidies by the government for fuel that was never delivered. It was estimated the scam cost the country $6.8 billion.
Business tycoon, Femi Otedola accused the former House of Representatives’ member of accepting a $500,000 bribe as part of a $3m demand to remove his company, Zenon Petroleum and Gas Limited from the list of oil companies allegedly involved in fuel subsidy fraud.
The $500,000 bribe was allegedly received by Lawan from Otedola in a sting operation involving the State Security Service (SSS).
Justice Angela Otaluka of the FCT High Court on 22/06/2021, found him guilty on three counts of bribery and corruption, then subsequently sentenced him to 7 years imprisonment.
Lawan, a four-term member (1999-2015) representing Bagwai/Shanono Federal Constituency of Kano State, approached the Appeal Court who affirmed the verdict of the trial Court but reduced his sentence to 5 years.
In January 2024, the Supreme Court affirmed the five-year jail term handed to Lawan by the Court of Appeal.
UltraSolid: You personally can never see it because you were born a Yoruba-hating bigot. She is 100% correct. Those who have exposure, beyond Africa, and integrity can testify to what she is saying.
For example, PMS price in the UK is one of the highest in the world but that is not a concern of most Britons since it is not compulsory to own a vehicle, due to near excellent transport infrastructure, nor use petrol generator because power supply is constant and adequate.
Reforms that improve transport infrastructure and power supply are the sort Nigeria must embark on and see to the end. To that end, full deregulation off the downstream sector, is an enabler.
Yes Nigerians pay more for petrol but greater government income, aided by deregulation, means we can hopefully move towards becoming like developed nation that have real and globally relevant/desirable value in their economy rather than what obtains with Nigeria where we subsidized most things, including our currency, but do nothing well enough to benefit from it economically.
For example, Korea and Japan produce cars and electronics the world wants. They have desirable exports. When will Nigeria ever get close to resembling those nation when we want to languish in subsidy mediocrity rather than embrace reforms, painful in the short term, that will stimulate innovation, productivity and solutions-porvistiin nous Nigeria needs to compete and thrive in today's global economy?
Obdurately focusing on petrol price alone misses the big picture per where Nigeria needs to get to enroute to being a developed nation. We need great transport, steady power, proliferation of SMEs, a strong currency based on economic success anchored firmly on manufacturing and exporting more good and services than we import. Etc, etc.
How will all those happen with the subsidy lifestyle some want Nigeria to persevere with which only favours the outlook of Northern leaders who feel government money should basically provide a big and free food parlour for all?
Your bigotry will never allow you see the good a Yoruba man is trying to do.
This is hypocrisy at work, was it not tinubu and his likes that fought tooth and nail to ensure subsidy was brought back under the Jonathan regime. They know subsidy has to go but were playing politics with Nigeria future. Subsidy by now would have been a thing of the past like ten years ago but their selfishness and wickedness did not allow them so I don't get what they are saying....
God1000: Imagine a family of 5 to 10 children eating everyday in this Tinubu's era, it won't be easy at all
This is apart from School fees, house rent and other miscellaneous
Fuel price has gone up again which will further affect food prices in the market, where are we heading to?
Some of his supporters will tell you that he is working, give him time to turn things around... they are suffering and smiling but will still defend such a disaster as a president
Jostoman: If Nigerians want let them go and vote for APC or allow APC government to rigged and steal their mandate again in 2027, Na the biggest one Chance them go enter again.
They will never learn so forget all this one, if they were really serious APC won't have won Edo state to start with...then no supposed get one vote but we saw the opposite... you will still see people come out in 2027 to tell you tinubu did heaven and Earth and will still campaign and vote for APC
ElevationD: Wrong information. That’s the video on how he was presented to Victor Odili and co., as the governorship contestant that year.
I am not a WIke fan, but facts must be stated as they remain. Wike was long in politics before that day. He was a local government chairman. He was Amaechi’s chief of staff, etc.
You have come again, so he was a boy to Amaechi before but yet some of you make it seems as if he just got to the top by himself
When I said wike was help by the likes of Odili, Amaechi and Jonathan, someone said it was wike that help Amaechi now we are seeing the obvious... wike is a big hypocrite, he fought the people who brought him to power, can't we see how humble he was here, see as he dey bow down like cow for here but now he feels he is bigger than everyone in River State
Coolestguy2023: Fubara think say he wise. He will learn the hard way and nothing will happen. He has been disobeying court orders carelessly but he will not have is way this time. Foolish people like fubara are the reason why state policing will not work in Nigeria.
*** If you quote me, na still your papa go read am and not me.
Wike supporter spotted.. Buhari disobeyed countless Court order nothing happened so make we dey watch
Philistine: Tinubu is the most insensitive and irresponsible president in the history of this country. He enjoys the trappings of the office, but lacks the intellect to be successful in the position. Very unfortunate

Why are they always running Toba country that their system are working.. He is also going for medical check-up
SamGift0817: Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has declared that the Rivers State local government election scheduled to hold on October 5, 2024, would hold and conducted as the most peaceful and credible elections in the state.
Fubara said he had already received briefing from the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, (RSIEC) on court order mandating the agency to conduct the elections in the state, with the full support of security agencies, assuring that the state electoral umpire would be given the necessary supports to conduct the elections successfully.
Those supporting wike are hypocrite... this is the same wike that didn't allow Amaechi or Odili to interfere in his administration, infact he show Amaechi shege during his time but now he wants to control his successor. Whenever wike talks about helping fubara I just laugh, this same wike was also help by Amaechi and Jonathan but now he thinks he is the Lord of river state. If not for tinubu that gave him appointment and he is using federal might, he for don hear am for fubara hand. You can't compare a sitting governor to a minister
