Business / Re: Simple Secret Of Buying Stuff At Idumota Market Lagos by b1s0la(f): 10:42am On Jan 02, 2017
udysweet:
Idumota is one part, you hav apongbon, balogun and the rest. Depending on what you're buying. Idumota is just like a general name for one part of it,there's dosunmu, idumagbo for those whoo wants to buy wristwatches in bulk, oluwole is der too leading to mandilas were u can buy wears also to broad street for suits and the rest, evn tinubu square.D dosunmu deals on baby items, jewelry(used to go there and buy chains, earrings pendants and other items I sold when I was in school),watches, electronics, female items like bra, pants, nighties etals(there's a corner called"whoro pedro)then boxer, singlets, hankies and a whole lot. Idumota is also hub for movie marketer all the movies you need are sold mostly from there)likes of ebinpejo lane, nnamdi azikwe road etc.For those who wants to buy provisioons, head to oke arin, all d way down(u can assess it coming frm apongbon too)balogun deals wit ankara george lace(idumota sells too) wrapper ,female dresses shoes and one or two other item. The other side covers cosmetics and weavons and a few other tins. For those who wants to sell slippers, rubber and fancy ones plus a few others, jus before you descend to were is called "eyin eyo" by the foot bridge to the right, dats their depot. So lagos island as a whole, stocks all,so long you know were you're going, lol!
Tradefair is there too,I don't really knw there much I only go to were I buy my beading items and cosmetics. Its very vast so one needs to knw were one is goin to get directions else u go lost, lol! And did I forget, there's ebute ero for all d tin tomatoes, spag, veg oil and the rest, then there's holloway and one other place if u need pots, plate, cups and household items.
Phew that was an epistle! Did I miss out anytin?if I did its because I'm human and not God so I can't know everytin ,lol

@ udysweet u r right, I stay in Apongbo where they sell wine. And even Balogun is of different type where dey sell clothes, wine, weavon, etc. we also av obanikoro where dey sell very cheap jewelries. Oke-Arin and Ebute-ero for provisions and sweets. Provisions sold outside Ebute-ero is cheaper Dan inside. We have Gorodom market where dey sell coolers, unbreakable plates, cooking utensils etc, Mandilas 4 shoes, shirt, high grade okrika shirt etc. Ebute-ero under bridge for Aba shoes not like Mandilas. We have over hundred(100) markets inside Lagos island depending on wat to buy, maybe sewing machine, motor parts, etc. So Idumota is just a very small part in Lagos island. So d person DAT post d topic should shine his or her FACE and everyone oooooooo

Career / Re: What Skills Have You Learnt That Can Earn You Money? by b1s0la(f): 1:58pm On Jun 19, 2016
vikel2104:

The economic situation of the country leaves us with no option than to cater for ourselves in every honest way possible. A lot of youths have decided to learn a skill and most of them eventually develop these skills to levels where it generates a reasonable amount of income for them.
Presently I am in a paid employment but I am also taking some courses in business management because I see myself managing a business soon.
A guy I know who recently finished his NYSC program is currently teaching people programming and website design which he learnt during his service year. Learning skills like these can be very profitable when there is no available white collar job, in fact, one can make a livelihood out of it.
My barber is someone who learnt the skill even before going to the University. He opened the shop with his older brother. He was a teenager at that time and along with his brother, they kept doing the business. That did not however stop their education. I don't know how they did it but both of them still kept on with their schooling. His older brother got admission into the university while he continued the business. As his brother was about to graduate he also got admission into the university. With both of them very busy, they had to employ another person to take care of the business. Now both of them have degrees and the barbing business is still on.

So you see that one can help himself with the little skills he acquires and most can be acquired at little or no cost apart from your determination. It does not matter whether you're a graduate or not because your destiny is not wrapped in your certificate.

So, I want to throw the question to you, what skills are you acquiring now or have you acquired that has helped you or is helping you now.

Share so that others can learn or get encouraged..

Business / Re: This Is A Far Better Option Than Taking Loan by b1s0la(f): 12:35am On May 27, 2016
newdawn09:
You will agree with me that taking a loan in Nigeria is very difficult especially from banks.

They will not tell you the hidden charges until you are in their "trap".

Even before the loan is approved, you will pass through "hell"

A friend of mine was sharing his experience with me recently about what his bank deducted from his account for taking loan from them, they called it "Anniversary Charges". He lamented seriously but there is nothing he could do as he has entered into their trap.

This hidden charges coupled with cutthroat interest rate, makes it a no go area especially for a starter.

I have a solution for you, where you can raise any amount of money you want, either for business, personal, education, medical, travelling abroad etc.

The beautiful thing is that you don't need collateral for this, no interview and you will get it in few days as the donors are always eager to help others.

For serious people, just follow this instruction:

For details mail me, you will see my email in my signature.
I am interested, dis is my email Addy yinusabisola@gmail.com
