PoliticsBiafra: The Bitter Truth by babablogger(op): 10:38am On Jun 22, 2017
I will get a lot of hate comments about this article, but it’s the truth the real truth about Biafra that most of my brothers from the east choose to ignore.

I will like to draw the attention of most Igbos agitating for Biafra, secession never comes easy. We can take examples from Sudan, Somalia and even the 1967-1970 Biafra Civil war which claimed nothing less than 3 million lives.

I believe we all have freedom to exist and co-exist and we can choose to leave whenever we want but that freedom is somewhat limited when it comes to secession. Have you ever sat for once to wonder what sanctions will be if you eventually secede? Or what will happen to the famous Aba products when Nigeria sanctions the so-called Biafra Nation economically? The population of Igbos is currently pegged at 32 million so imagine when the products been produced can’t leave the borders of Biafra except you have to rely on Cameroon which I know will be difficult. Or what will happen to Igbos working in other states and government parastatal? Or those in the Military? These are things the elites who don’t support Biafra think about.

Another trouble I have is Nnmadi Kanu, I still wonder why they worship this guy he was anonymous before the radio Biafra saga. He advised Igbos to kill Northerners, he also said you should only attend churches owned by Igbos. I still wonder if these do not ring a bell. A leader that preaches hate, a leader that tells you to kill others.

I can say 99% of Igbos never knew Nnmadi Kanu before now, no one knows his occupation, nothing but they still follow him like flocks of sheep. I have also seen pictures go round the internet of grown men kneeling down to great Kanu are they so deluded? Or why should one who hasn’t received power yet consider himself higher than the commons?

Another bitter truth is if Biafra is achieved through Kanu it will be recognized as a Jewish state, but ignorance won’t let people know being a Jew is different from being a Christian. Jews do not believe in Jesus so I wonder what will happen to a Jewish country populated by Christians (followers of Christ).

What about the Osus it’s certain no Nwadiala who are more controlling in population than the Osu’s will allow any Osu hold a political office or get a political appointment. So the same marginalization Igbos are clamoring about will keep on going.
(The Osu caste system is an ancient practice in Igboland that discourages social interaction and marriage with a group of persons called Osu (Igbo: outcast). Osus are dedicated to the deities (Alusi) of Igboland; they are considered as inferior beings and are usually separated from the Nwadiala or diala (Igbo: real born).)

The most annoying is the propaganda and lies perpetrated by those who wish to achieve Biafra, fake news websites with domain names similar to popular news websites like metro UK, BBC and so on been operated by Biafrans just to propagate false news. I can give reasons why remaining part of Nigeria is the best for Igbos, but what do I know. I’m from the south western part of the country so I will be bashed for this article and probably called an Afonja but like they say the truth isn’t pleasant.

These are the questions I want those clamoring to ask themselves

Will achieving Biafra disintegrate the greed in our hearts or the corruption in our soul?
What do you deduce will happen to a country founded on lies and hatred?
Or will it stop electoral malpractices?

The same circle will go on and on and on till the Osus will ask to also secede from Biafra.

HealthThis Vegetable Can Lead To Infertility In Men by babablogger(op): 9:10am On Jun 22, 2017
Okra, also known as the "ladies finger" is a flowering plant in the mallow family. it is very nutritious as it is highly rich in carbohydrate, vitamins, water, and protein.

Although, it is very nutritious, studies have shown that it may be dangerous to men as it can cause infertilty. Okro has aunique substance called "GOSSYPOL". Gossypol inhibits sperm production and motility by blocking several enzymews that are highly important in energy metabolism in sperm and sperm producing cells.

Gossypol has been used as a male contraceptive for years in china. some clinical research were conducted in regards the effectiveness of gossypol as a contraceptive in 1986 and 1990 in china and Brazil respectively. The studies showed that gossypol lowered the number and motility of sperms and made small percentage of men infertile permanently.

Gossypol may also cause menstrual irregularity in women. it has also been linked to hypokalemia and also damage to red blood cells leading to heamolytic anaemia.

Conclusively, Okra in higher amount is not recommended in people with following conditions:

Anaemic people
Athletes
Infertile men undergoing medical investigation and treatment.
Women who experience of irregular menses.

PoliticsNigeria: A Country Where Nothing Works by babablogger(op):
I am a Nigerian which I’m proud of but it’s also frustrating to know nothing works in this country.

ELECTRICITY/POWER SUPPLY

I can remember how the masses were promised better electricity every year, but it only seem to get worse, I still don’t get how we supply neighboring countries gas, which they use to provide electricity, while we the supplier can’t boast of uninterrupted power supply.
As a Nigerian we get scared when we use electricity for long hours because we believe or should I say it is known that anytime this happens, it’s a sign we should get our money ready to pay our bills. We only get power supply when it’s time to pay bills.

I see no reason why the government allows power holding/distribution companies send us outrageous bills for power we never consumed. After all we are forced to provide power/electricity ourselves, just because no one can rely on the government to do this.

NIGERIA POLICE FORCE

I will keep writing about how corrupt our men in black are, they shouldn’t take all the blame though because, what do you expect when a man knows if he loses his life in his line of duty, someone in the government will keep his entitlements to himself and his family wouldn’t get a dime. Who would want to leave his family behind to suffer?

What do you expect when they are paid peanuts as salaries? When they are ill equipped? What do you expect when a policeman retires and he has to fight to get his pension?

Yes it’s not always their fault, but it is also theirs for being corrupt, they only care about their pockets. Joining the police force should be something you should do because you have passion for it, but they are forced to join because they can’t get the jobs they really want.

In this country you either take what is available or you starve, but this is no excuse to why these policemen harass citizens, frame innocent masses and sometimes maim citizens without thinking twice about it.

EDUCATION

This is something I think about and I get emotional, my eyes get teary. From secondary schools to Tertiary institutions examination malpractice is what’s in vogue.

Secondary school students no longer study for their O’level exams, because they believe in SPECIAL CENTRES. How will a teenager, who cheated his/her way out of secondary school fair in the university. Well our universities are no different, thanks to the recent improvement from JAMB.

Before now all you needed to get into most Universities in my beloved country was a fat pocket, how can one who cheated into the university cope with academic activities? I wonder.

This brings me to our ever corrupt lecturers, all they care about is “buy my handouts/textbooks and you pass” or the lecturers who accept cash and kind to pass their students (sex included).

You see this circle between lecturers and student is amazing because when the students pay their way through the school, graduates then gets a political appointment or probably in charge of these same lecturers salaries/welfare, well we all know it will result to their former student keeping all the lecturer’s entitlements to himself/herself.

Parents are also to blame for this, they prefer so called special centers for their children/wards to take exams rather then tell them to read and prepare for exams. Still these same sets of parents will say the government is corrupt not knowing they are also building corruption in the hearts of the next government.

JUDICIARY

Justice gets served to the poor (if they are the accused) then the rich can have their way. I was angered yesterday when I heard that Senate President Bukola Saraki was cleared of all his charges, 18 damn charges by the code of conduct bureau (CCB).

When we have corruption in all ramifications of the country all arms, all departments there should be an exception to the judiciary but here we go a corrupt judiciary. I do not have any issue with Bukola Saraki.

I’m no lawyer, but I wonder how possible it is for 18 charges to get dismissed without one sticking, we are in a country where the rich are tried by the media and the poor but the court of law.

On the 24th of March 2016 Sahara Reporters said Senate President Bukola Saraki put a price tag of $2M (two million dollars) to buy off the CCT judge if he agrees to decline jurisdiction or end the case on a technicality. Fourteen months later we can see the result.

I don’t hate my country, I Love Nigeria so much and this is the reason I’m bothered. If we do not try to amend our ways, then the next generation will be something else, we live in a country where when you try fighting corruption, corruption fights back.

I can keep going on reasons we have all failed this beloved country but we keep blaming the government, if I may ask who is the government, who makes up the government?

Doubt that. Must have been fleeing. The bullet entry and exit holes clearly show at keast one was shot in the back. Executions will more likely be a frontal head shot.
how will someone who was tied and surrounded attempt to run?
