xynerise:Don't mind him, it's an idiomatic proverb |
zicoraads:it Mr corrector both are correct in the case of using have to replace eat i.e people always mistaken eat for have... for example: I'm having my breakfast or I'm eating my breakfast. what will you like to have for lunch? or what will you like to eat for lunch? so eat-have and have-eat are both correct. although his/her own conveys the information/message better than yours, yours is the most popular |
kullozone:As if you're in her mind/heart... oga life is more than sex |
INDUSTRIALFAN:But he's just 23 and by the time he's ready to marry, the woman might be above 50. I wish him the best and I have given him my own advice, no need to argue over this issue bro/sis |
If you can answer these questions correctly and honestly, it will go a long way to help you; 1. Can you live with her lifestyles? 2. Hope you will not regret marrying her because of these signs (I'm not talking about what might happen in future, I'm talking about the actions she has displayed already)? 3. Ask yourself are you OK with her ways, don't manage her or don't marry her out of pity or because she's beautiful. I think she has been jilted severally and as such she is threading carefully by not putting all her eggs in a basket(you), it will be wise of you to plan for the best with her but at the same time expect the worst from her should in case she later dump you, this will help you bounce back... With these you will be able to make a meaningful decision. I wish you the best |
INDUSTRIALFAN:But she had a kid which is almost same age as the op, and again you know the relationship is not a genuine one and can't lead to any meaningful destination. There are two things involved 1. It maybe the lady is lonely and needs someone to have fun with, which has less than 20% probability. OR 2. Maybe she's out to get something(you know what I mean) from him since he's young and vulnerable, which has over 80% probability I will advice him to run because either way it's wrong and won't favor him at the long run |
You know the right/good thing, do what is right... I will advise you to run, it's totally wrong. |

Some people and tribalism ehn... Compare the businesses the igbos on the list have and the one the yorubas have, you will see the igbos businesses are well know compared to that of the yorubas... Imagine Tania, wetin that one dey do for that list sef, this list is not the representation of the true situation out here. Chioma just signed a deal worth 100 million naira recently which we all know about and it's not there, tell me how many deal Tania has ever had in her entire business history that worth 100 million naira? |
Super Chicken... England of all country, I wonder what they will play against Iceland, Croatia and Argentina |
I will advice you not to buy them any gift since you are going there for the first time, though some family are too expectant/demanding but it's advisable not to buy anything for the parents, it's the first meeting. Just get something like gift or cash for her younger ones, that will create an impression that you're caring. Even if we no tell you, shey you no dey watch home videos ni. First meetings are for familiarization*** |

Slikbae:Remove the l in your moniker and add c to it... That's your condition... Is rape limited to one gender only? FYI, rape can be perpetrated by male or female, so do me a favor and gerrahaout of my mention |
Any trend that enters Nigeria is always overused or misused... for example: wakanda and so on, now #metoo is here, small time even girlfriends go dey claim their ex boyfriends raped them. |
My own is that my future wife should call me names like baby, sweetie (even if it will cause sugar in my body), honey (I dont mind if bees will follow me). she can call our kids baby 2, baby 3, baby 4, baby 5 and so on |

Idioms An idiom is an expression that conveys something different from its literal meaning, and that cannot be guessed from the meanings of its individual words. “Between a rock and a hard place” is an idiom that means “in a difficult or bad position with no good way of getting out of it.” What makes an idiom different from a figure of speech is that its nonliteral meaning is already familiar to speakers of the language. While, Figures of speech A figure of speech is a phrase or an expression that expresses an idea by using words in a nonliteral and imaginative way. Unlike an idiom, it is possible to understand a figure of speech even if you have never heard it before. Metaphors and similes are figures of speech. What makes an idiom different from a figure of speech is that its nonliteral meaning is already familiar to speakers of the language. |
