Get video evidence. Get a cheap spy pen (3500-5000) attach it to your bag or cloth whenever he summons you to the places these "harassment" happens. After getting the evidence...the next time it happens, tell him you are considering reporting to the police. If it continues, report to police. |

victor101: The time I'll use for better things, then I should use for acknowledging receipt of over 197 emails that I won't hire. When I just need 3 people. When I bid for jobs on those freelancing sites the client acknowledge receipt of my bid proposal? NO. That was why I asked if you know what freelancing is? Because I see you just come here to spew dust...
How nice can one ever be? I know many freelancers that work in the same sites I get most of my jobs from who hoard opportunities, now you see someone who care to help the best way he can, still you people want to frustrate his efforts. How nice can one ever be? Even when you apply for most of the "so called" office jobs, how many of them even acknowledge receipt of applicant's emails?
Like I know, you people can't frustrate my good, cos that's where my blessings are coming from. Office best practice requires you acknowledge receipt of emails or are you fresh out of college? Anyways, learn from this goof and don't EVER post job adverts without the capacity to acknowledge receipt. Bloody amateurish freelancer. |

Divijessicoins: Thanks @ pyerii for showing up. Honestly I won't blame matin301 because am also in his shoes. Its annoying when u tend to message someone that requested for your service (even though it seems like an opportunity) and the person refused to reply to your messages. To me its seems like a wash and impolite. I personally sent victor101 a message based on his request and even inform of a pled but till am writing this message, intentionally from his angle, no response. I even mailed him that if application was not successful, its as good as responding politely. I am also a freelancer and I do get jobs. All I know is that we need to treat ourselves with respect even if don't see each other. Thanks. The issue here is him not acknowledging receipt. Common auto-response will have helped. This thread has been views 1000+ times, I wonder how many people have applied. You don't keep people in the dark just because you can or you're giving them a job opportunity! |

victor101: Just for the records, I don't know what selling email is neither have I scammed anyone, I'm only providing opportunities for youths like me to work and get paid for their work. I'm a career freelancer simply looking to build a team that work closely with me, on different projects.
Well, I know that people will always destroy what they don't understand, and doubt what they even know.
Shalom! You are highly irresponsible! Its people like you who give HR practitioners a bad name. Why post a job advert to millions of people without the capacity to acknowledge receipt? Common auto-response you can't set up? Shame! At least something like; "Dear applicant, your applications has been received and will be processed. Only successful candidates will be contacted. Thank you for you interest". End |
NYSC › Re: NYSC Allowances In 26 States Across Nigeria by babayega(m): 11:05pm On Jun 29, 2016 |
Seuncoded: In Nigeria, every year fresh graduates travel across the nation to different states in a scheme called National Youth Service Corps popularly called NYSC.
The NYSC scheme was an initiative of the Yakubu Gowon military regime in 1973 to reconstruct, reconcile and rebuild the country after the Nigerian Civil war.
While many Nigerians have called on successive governments to scrap the scheme as they say it has outlived its usefulness, many others have asked that the scheme should be retained.
Youth corp members working on road signs in Abuja recently After three weeks in the camps where they are taken through rigorous physical routine, the corp members are then posted to a place of primary assignment.
Apart from the uniform salary paid to youth corp members nationwide, state governments where the NYSC members are posted also give them some allowances.

richidinho: I appreciate the anti-corruption war, but I wish our media could also carry headlines of economic progress instead of incessant arrests by DSS/EFCC. We are so fixated on the anticorruption war that we are not noticing the steep decline in our economy. In one day, Aliko Dangote lost $3.7 billion according to Bloomberg. The only business booming in Nigeria today is the business of arresting and detaining. I would not mind if we are arresting economic decline! President Obasanjo fought corruption, but he also grew the economy. And he did this with oil at $15 per barrel (today it is $48). Low oil price is no excuse. kaeforum: This is a theoretical analysis, we shall see if you re right in 10 days:
But I strongly disagree with you on the following points:
1. The Nations oil output has drastically reduced due to vandals from militants and refusal of foreign buyers to patronize us.
2. The country produces little except oil, it imports more than 85 percent of its products for manufacturing, this will cause deficit in balance of payments with other countries.
3. Dollar will continue to appreciate against the naira as firms and companies prefer to hold dollar currency than naira.
4. Current govt is low on funds, already having challenges implementing budget.
5. Scarcity will return as Importers dont have dollars to import fuel at changing exchange rate. Yes, just like how they said PMB will lose elections. |
