The tweet was later deleted by twitter and in return, Buhari banned twitter in Nigeria

She's been complaint of being broke for the past two months now. Just last week, she complained of how she and her mom only eat twice a day.

The fact that you think things should go a certain way is why you’re really upset with your sister. If you truly understand life and probably gotten to the stage of having your own family; you’d understand “why you should let things work out the way God plans”.
Now there’s a difference when your sister builds her house and never tells any of her family members and there’s a difference when she doesn’t disclose it whilst in working…. When my fiancé was pregnant with my son, I didn’t tell anyone (and I mean anyone), I told my family when the doctor handed my son over to me. Same as when I building my first house. I only told them when I had completed it. And they were happy for me, prayed for me and blessed it. But I guess you’re more upset cos she acted broke and even loaned money from you.

I’m just relating to similar situation with the thread mentioned in the OP.

A very close friend of mine traveled to the UK without informing me all throughout his plans, I swear to God, it didn’t move me one bit and we still talk and laugh over it today.

I understand that nobody owes your anything.

,but when it comes to family, I don’t entirely believe same. Because when all the chips are down, your family is all you got. Dead or alive.

I’m not dwelling on the pain whatsoever and I’ve really moved on. Most times when I’m sharing money to my siblings in festive periods, I still include her in the sharing.

But her actions has thought me to not put her on the family level that I put others, I honestly now see her as a stranger.

I’m a family oriented person and I believe the way we treat family should be different from the way we treat strangers. Usually treating your family with regards and love will not be just for your own benefit, but also foster on your kids too.

How you treat your siblings will definitely have impact your children as well.

You don’t treat your siblings like a total stranger and expect them to treat your children like your own when you’re around or not.

There's something called betrayal of trust and that's what your sister and the friend did. There's something in Yoruba called aponle- regard, it's obvious your sister don't have much regard for u, same for the friend.
Your sister don't want to have a close relationship with u, just see it that way and respect her choice. Do your thing and let her hers. It's painful but that's the way it is.

The most painful part is that I have so much regard for her.

I’m never entitled to her money, infact I sometimes give her money because of her level of acting broke.

I also go out of way to make sure I stand for her even when she had issue with my dad when he was alive.
