Good day to all the mamas in the house, first I want to say this forum is so helpful and has been so helpful to me since the day I joined in and I’m so thankful for you all. I have a second baby that’s 3 months and My Brest is not producing as much milk as when I gave birth to my first baby, I have had surplus tea and pap and still comes out normally and not the way I want it to. I love breastfeeding my baby and don’t know what to take to make it produce much more milk. Please I’d appreciate it if there’s something I can do. Thank you and God bless you…

Hello mamas in the house. First I want to appreciate everyone of you for being here and sharing solutions cause most worked for me in the past. My 1yr9months old king is having skin reactions which I have used 7keys and calamine lotion on his skin and other medication given to him by the physician but the thing is still coming out and scratching him especially on his hands and legs(looks like chickenpox) please what more can I use? Please I attached a picture of what it looks like. Thank you and God bless

The fever wont just go like that, it will take some days for the drugs to kick in. I'm assuming you were given paracetamol or ibuprofen in addition to the other drugs. Sometimes both is given to avoid overdose, so you just alternate.

So continue administering them, tepid sponge too, wear light clothing. If after 2 or 3 days and no improvement, go back to the hospital.

Giddyperson:

Buy mupiderm ointment for the boil, it would dry it up in 2-3 days. How long has he had the catarh, if home remedy is not working, maybe you should take him to the hospital.
okay ma, thank you very much

This catarrh issue has been dealt with a lot. If you can use the search button, you would get lots of home remedies as your baby is very young. For his weight, the only thing is to continue feeding him. Did his feeding pattern change because of the catarrh?
yes ma, he started refusing to breastfeed and even to take his formula milk, but now he’s started breastfeeding again, my worry is the boil also ma. He has taken ampiclox for it but it’s getting bigger

Good evening mamas in the house. We don come again ahbeg help me out. My daughter of 6weeks and 5days has somethings like dandruff in her hair. I wash the hair on Sundays only but when bathing her everyday, mum pours water on it. What can I do so they won't come out? She has a full and long hair and barbing it is not an option at all as the Dad won't even agree.
NB: mum uses her bath wash to wash her hair so should I get her shampoo and conditioner? Please... help me o
. Use selsun anti dandruff shampoo, it works wonders for dandruff on babies. My son used it and it was prescribed by the pediatrician,

Sounds like cradle cap.

Here's what I did for my son back then that worked.

First, I poured enough coconut oil on his hair. You can use olive oil too. Then I covered his hair with a clean black nylon and left it for like 30mins or so. Took off the nylon and I used a small comb to gently comb out the flakes in the hair. The sides that didn't come off, I put more oil and let it soak and then I combed off again. After which I washed his hair with baby shampoo. (I usually buy the 2 in 1 shampoo, that's the one that is a shampoo and conditioner in one)
i use selsun anti dandruff shampoo for my baby and it works wonders. Mix with little water and apply on his hair and wait for 5 mins before you wash off

Good evening to everyone, please my baby just turned 1 month today and I’m a new mother. I started noticing rashes on his body and was using powder, it dried up and turned to skin discoloration; my sister says it’s eela, I bought sudocrem cause that’s what the pharmacist asked me to use on him, someone says to get Agbo to bath him with and he’ll also drink it, I’m scared of the drinking part, i have been using the sudocrem for some days now and it hasn’t done much, just dries it up and nothing more, it’s still the way it is. I don’t know what to do. Thank you and please give suggestions
