if you are looking at learning French, I have the contact of a French lecturer/ teacher, he works in Alliance France Lagos and he is TEF trained(which is very important). infact he was my examiner for expression orale when I wrote TEF. he will possibly charge a token and I am sure it would help. The exam date is actually 28th of May. i called them on friday. Meanwhile if you are preparing to write TEF, prepmyfuture is super helpful + the comment se preparer au TEF on fb, they have loads of tips/documents to download. wish i knew earlier.

Hello All, I have been a silent reader by decided to join the chatty train... ok here is my take on the TCF and TEF saga. I have written both and I will share my experience below.

I wrote TEF at alliance Ibadan, for me, All was quite cool except for EE... the passages were too long and complex... mind you I studied French in university here in Nigeria, did masters 1 in France and lived there for about 3 and half years. I currently work as a French sales coordinator.

Back to my TEF jist... we started the exams on time and finished 3 hrs after... paper based exam....Results came like 3 weeks after and I had B2 in EO, CE, CO... I had B1 in EE.

I was a bit depressed and disappointed and decided to give it another shot. I joined the telegram group and I met a friend who told me he had written TCF in Cotonou and he passed. I gave it a thought and decided to go to Cotonou. I sent a mail to the institut and was told I have to come for registration 3 days before the exams. I left home early, and arrived Benin 5 hrs after. The journey was damn too stressful
P.S- please note that don’t attempt the Cotonou route if you are an ajebo. EXTREMELY terrible road.

Ok getting to the institution, i was informed I have have sent to do attestation for my international passport at their la Mairie, omo mehn where do I know...
Hmm I took a cab and the crowd i saw at the la mairie was unexpected... the last time I saw such was in uni while queuing to get accommodation. To cut it short, I got it done an hour after, went back to the institute and registration done and I returned back to lag jejely.

Went back for the exams 4 days after, roads still terribly bad, journey stressful, hotel was a lil good. The exam was the following day, got here right on time but we were delayed for no reason. The exam CBT and we got our results for CO and EO on immediately after the exam. We had to wait for 15 working days for EE and EO... I had B2 again except for CO where I had a B1 again.

Right now I’m at a cross road, still not sure of the next time but I’m sure not giving up.

Analysis————I believe TCF is easier than TEF especially for beginners just that it’s only done in port Harcourt.

I’m think I’m able to convince you and not confuse you with these few points of mine.... heheheh (our secondary school debate line)

Spot on. I was just going to mention this. The JD is more 6411 than 6221.

I can see where the confusion is.

I don't think 6221 will fly as your JD lacks these 3 lines that I think are critical:
Consult with clients after sale to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
Troubleshoot technical problems related to equipment
Develop and maintain technical product or service knowledge to explain features to clients and answer questions about goods or services

6411 which looks to be a better fit is NOC C.

Do you supervise a team of salespersons?

I don’t supervise a team of salespersons oh! But I actually consult with clients after sales to see if they have further complaints or not. NOC C KE! Ah I’m super worried

ok for both international driver's license, there is an officer at their head office in Ojodu that helped my sister with hers. He was quite professional and respectful, dm me whenever you need his number. he could be of help.

Ok thank you for creating this page. I think it will be super helpful and useful.

I will be on this thread to help our intending francophones FOR FREE wherever and whenever they need help with French.

To my background- I never had any knowledge of French language till got to the uni, I searched for an admission and the course I was given to study was French language, at a point I hated it but after my 1st year I didn't have a choice but to love the situation I found myself. I aced all my courses till I left uni but I couldn't communicate fluently as we only read to pass in school. (Naija style now).
After Bachelors, I decided to take a step further by doing my masters in France, this helped my spoken French in a space of 3 months. I spent 3 and half years now French and I must say with all humility that my French language is a little above level C1.
I currently work as a French sales coordinator, I'm in charge of our sales in the francophones region.

Although I am yet to write the TEFexams✍️, I am looking at January slot.

Please feel free to message if you think you need help with French and I will respond to you.

Hello House,

WES just released my MSC Evaluation as 1 year of graduate study.

My concern is the remark states- The credentials not comparable to a completed canadian education credential.

Would you advice i evaluate my bachelors as i submitted credentials only for the MSC or i can use this and if yes, under which category does it fall. Thank you for the anticipated assistance.

About your visa renewal via Dropbox, could you please give me the steps to the Dropbox renewal. Can't seem to figure out how it works anymore. Too many conflicting information.

You have the option.of choosing dropbox when you are about to schedule your appointment, just fill your DS 160 and proceed to book appointment, then you will be asked few questions which will determine if you are eligible for dropbox or not.

To start with, did you travel wth the visa that will be expiring ?

I also obtained my visa as a single lady in 2015, got married few months after, visa git expired this year, renewed via dropbox and i chose b2 which medicals and tourism(or business ) not sure. My visa was issued without interview.mibd you i travelled wth the previous visa once.
