Three persons were seriously injured after three female suicide bombers attacked a housing estate in Konduga, Konduga Local Government of Borno State at about 9.50pm yesterday Sunday March 25th.

The female suicide bombers entered Konduga 20 Housing Unit Estate and detonated their IED ridden bodies killing themselves and injuring three other residents.

The bombers died instantly. The injured persons have been taken to the hospital where they are responding to treatment.

A poverty activist, identified as Steven Kizza drowned in Aruu Falls, Gulu district in Kampala, Uganda – Kizza.

He was an employee of an NGO based in Kamwokya, Kampala had traveled to Gulu on a work-related trip.

While there, he and other colleagues decided to go and have fun at the falls.

Moments before he drowned, he first took pictures, then he sat down and put his feet in water as his friends took pictures.

Kizza slipped down the water falls and by the time they realized he was actually slipping from life, it was too late to rescue him.

Police came in later and managed to retrieve the body. It was transferred to Lacor Hospital in Gulu. Kizza was in charge of research and human resources in the NGO, Innovation for Poverty Action, Uganda. The NGO handles private and government contracts.

Fredrick Mugabi, one of his friends says Kizza’s wedding was scheduled for August and wedding meetings were already going on.

Weeks after a lady gave birth to a baby with three legs in Kaduna, the second wife of a man identified as Malam Hassan Ibrahim, has given birth to a baby with 4 legs and 2 genitals at Sabon Garin Makiyawa in Magama Jibia, Katsina State.

According to Dailytrust, 20-year-old Zainab delivered the baby on March 9, 2018. Hassan and Zainab have been married for four years and are already blessed with a three year old son, Fahad.

Describing the baby, Hassan said, “The child has both sexes and four legs, the two abnormal legs and a penis are on the left side of the ribs, only one of the two additional legs is moving, the second doesn’t. I can say it’s a girl because the longer and normal legs have a female genital at their proper place.”

When asked if his wife attended ante-natal clinic during pregnancy, Hassan said she did. “For now, I’m made to understand from some health officials that she may need surgery to correct the defects and was given a referral later to the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital to meet a consultant paediatric surgeon,” he said.

Doctors’ findings and examination at the Turai Yaradu Clinic stated that “the second twin was attached to the first at the sacral region to the left, swelling at the lumbo sacral region of both twins, polydactyl of the fingers. The provisional diagnosis was said to be sarcophagus con joined twins.”

An 11-year-old girl has been arrested for the death of a 5-year-old boy left in her care at a home in Okoloko street, Abule-Ado Shoba, Lagos state.

Ojiugo Ifechukwu Duru allegedly strangled Chikamso after the child’s mother left her with him and his younger brother while she went to her place of business which was close by, a source told LIB.



Not long after the mother left home on Saturday, she was called to return home that there was an emergency, and when she returned, she found that her maid had killed her first child.

“It’s just that my house girl strangled my son, my first issue,” the grieving mother told Linda Ikeji’s Blog.

The woman, who is heavily pregnant with her third child, said the maid has now been arrested by the police.

She said: “For now, it’s not in my hand. She’s in custody already. For now my husband is taking care of things. It’s now government case and not mine, so it’s not in my hands to decide what will happen and what will not happen.”

The father of the deceased resides in South Africa but reportedly returned as a result of his son’s death and is now following up with the Nigerian Police.

Suspected armed robbers yesterday attacked a staff of the NNPC Mega filling station in Hotoro area of Kano state, carting away N16 million.

According to reports, the suspected robbers armed with sophisticated weapons,carried out their attack when the staff was conveying N26 million in two sacks to the commercial bank in the area. One of the sacks contained N16 million while the other contained over N10million.

“All in all, there was over N26 million in the two sacks when the incident happened. The suspected robbers took away one of the sacks containing N16 million,” a staff who pleaded anonymity said

It was gathered that soon after the suspects snatched the money, they shot sporadically in the air to scare people and fled the scene.

Confirming the attack, the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Magaji Majiya, said three suspected staff of the NNPC Mega station had been arrested in connection with the robbery and that the money they were conveying were from their sales on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

“As I am talking to you now, cashier one, two and their supervisor have been arrested in connection with the robbery. Investigation into the matter has commenced with a view to arresting the fleeing suspects,’’ he said.

A 41-year-old randy pastor (name withheld) of a new generation church in Ugbolu Community, near Asaba, Delta State, has allegedly put in family way, two sisters after conducting “Fake Deliverance” for them.

It was gathered that in 1998, the said pastor had, in Enugu State, allegedly committed same act when he was said to have slept with a mother and daughter during an all-night service, and was subsequently banished from the town after he was subjected to severe beating by angry church youths.

Sources said the two sisters, undergraduates of the National Open University, Asaba study centre (names withheld) had been regular visitors to the pastor’s church in the Community, and most times, attended his deliverance service before the bubble burst.

According to our informed sources, trouble started in December 2017 when the two sisters sought the pastor’s spiritual help for an undisclosed spiritual attack, a situation he allegedly respond to and hoodwinked them into doing deliverance during night fall, an offer the unsuspecting sisters willingly accepted without hesitation.

It was further gathered that the pastor allegedly “arranged” a room within the church premises where the two sisters, native of Asaba were ordered Unclad, and in the process, were offered water in a big bucket to bath with.

While the purported deliverance process lasted, the pastor, an insider said, suddenly went into uncontrollable act, leaving his manhood blown out of his white garment dress, and in a twinkle of an eye allegedly buried it into one of the victims vagina.

A member of the church Celestine Okoh, told our reporter that the lid of the pastor’s illicit and purported deliverance act was blown open last Sunday, during church service when the two sisters, in what appeared to be mild drama, stormed the church with some hired thugs and in a fit of fury, allegedly dragged the pastor out before they started beating and stoning him in the process.

A very tragic story is currently trending in Onitsha right now…… A man slaughtered his 3 children and his housemaid in cold blood..

The gory incident happened at Ntueke street awada in Onitsha, and it was said he picked out a kitchen knife and suddenly stabbed his children and their maid to death.

A landlord, identified as Idemudia Obamonyi, alllegedly set the building of his late father’s house, a property he inherited, over refusal of his tenants to pay rents.

According to reports, over 20 shops in the building located at Iwebo lane behind Oba Market in Benin City, Edo State, were razed. Idemudia was said to have been heard shouting telling people to allow the house burn since he does get any money from the house.

A resident in the area, Ifaluyi Obasogie, said it was unheard of for a landlord to set his own house ablaze. “We saw people holding him and he was saying let the house burn, I don’t get any money from it.”

A shop owner who gave his name as Justice Aigbekhan said they have paid their rent but Idemudia kept asking for money claiming that he wants to perform his father’s burial. “If they are having family issues, they should go and solve it. It is not for them to put us in trouble.”

He has since been arrested.

A 12-year-old girl, identified as Faith Nwanja, who hails from Okoffia community in Ezza South Local Government Area, was tortured, mutilated and abandoned by her mistress, Mrs. Nkechi Bartholomew for being too stubborn.

The young girl told officials of the Ebonyi State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development how she was subjected to inhuman treatment by .

Bartholomew, a childless woman and seamstress adopted Nwanja and took her to Onitsha, Anambra State, when she was eight years old but Bartholomew allegedly disfigured the girl.

Nwanja has shocking scars and injuries all over her body, including eyes. She also has bloodied mouth and has lost one of her hands to torture.

Narrating her ordeal, the girl said her madam always tortures her with sticks, hot iron and other dangerous weapons for being stubborn.

She also alleged that Bartholomew, who hails from the same area with her, always inserts stick into her private part.

It was learnt that Bartholomew tortured Nwanja and locked her up in a dark room. She was rescued by Bartholomew’s sister and taken back to Ebonyi State.

Nwanja equally accused Bartholomew of chaining her and that she only eats once in a day which, according to her, is usually in the evening.

She said:

“My madam, Bartholomew, disfigured me like this. I was a full-fledged human being when she took me to Onitsha, Anambra State. She inserted her fingers in my eyes and inflicted these injuries on me.

In this my mouth, she usually uses stones and puts inside it. She said I don’t normally brush my teeth and since I cannot do it, I must always suffer for it.

The husband has never beaten me; he always gets annoyed seeing me being tortured by his wife. At times, he will summon courage and quarrel with his wife because the wife is bigger than the man.

My madam used to lock me inside a dark room after beating me up. I was taken home by my madam’s sister who told her to take me home but she refused. My madam used to tell me that nothing will happen if I die, that she will spend her money and regain freedom if she is arrested if anything happens to me.

I was attending school in the village before she took me to Onitsha. But since four years that I went to Onitsha, I have not gone to school. I only eat in the evening every day.

My madam used to insert stick into my private part, she says I am stubborn. After beating me up, she will bring to gallons and placed my two legs. She will tie my legs on them and insert stick into my private part.”

Head of Department, Child Development Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Godwin Igwe, described Nwanja’s torture as inhuman and degrading.

Igwe said it was contrary to the constitution of the Nigeria 1999 as amended in 2011.
He said:

“No human being or child for any reason should be subjected to inhuman treatment. But this child was subjected to inhuman treatment.

This is a pure case of attempted murder, this is a pure case of attempted annihilation, snuffing of life and debilitating. Right now, she cannot use one of her hands, she is a disabled person. The head has been mutilated, she has been disfigured.”

Meanwhile, the suspect is at large while her sister who brought the victim home has been arrested by the state police command.

At least five people sustaiined minor injuries after passengers aboard a Delta Airline flight from Lagos, Nigeria to Atlanta used emergency slides to evacuate the flight and returned to the airport in Lagos.

According to Delta, the Airbus A330-200 had an issue with one of its two engines. Flight 55 landed safely but five passengers suffered minor injuries during the evacuation while the plane was on the runway.

The passengers evacuated the plane using escape slides which is an unusual occurrence that shows the seriousness of the incident.

Delta’s website indicates that the Airbus A330-200 has 234 seats. It has two Pratt & Whitney PW4000 turbofan engines. The engine’s manufacturer, Pratt & Whitney, said in a statement that it’s working with “authorities to assess the situation.”

In a new study called the ‘relationship between sexual position and severity of penile fracture’ from the International Journal of Impotence Research, doctors analysed which sex positions were the most dangerous for men.

The study found that ‘doggy style’ sex is the most dangerous, with 41 per cent of cases of penile fracture occurring as a result of using the position. Missionary, with the man on top, was in second place, as the cause behind 25 per cent of penile fracture cases, followed by sex with the woman on top in third.

The researchers who worked on the study included R Barros, L Schulze, A A Ornellas, L Koifman and L A Favorito. They noted that doggy style sex and missionary could cause equally serious penile fracture, while the woman being on top was the least dangerous. They said:

‘We do not observe differences between the severity of the penile fracture between the “doggy style” and “man-on-top”, but the “doggy style” had more severity of penile fracture when compared with “woman-on-top”.’

How does a penis fracture occur?

A penile fracture occurs when the appendage is subject to a sharp, blunt force trauma, which can occur during vigorous intercourse or masturbation. Since 1924, 1,600 cases have been recorded worldwide – roughly 16 instances per year, the Telegraph previously reported.

Researchers noted that in 50 per cent of cases, a gruesome cracking sound can be heard. Four in five male victims lost their erection. Those who have already been traumatised from breaking their penis are often left with erectile dysfunction problems and a lifetime of painful sex.

Earlier this year, MailOnline reported on a man from southern China who was left in agony after breaking his penis during sex with his wife. Doctors found that his penis was at an odd angle and was in a swollen shape that made it look like an eggplant.
He was diagnosed with a penile fracture after tearing a sponge-like erectile tissue called corpora cavernosa.

Blood flows into corpora cavernosa that runs along the penis and making it hard during an erection. The trick to stopping penile injuries is to thrust quite shallowly, according to Tracey Cox.

‘Holding your partner close to you using a grinding rather than thrusting motion will also reduce the risk’, she told MailOnline.

Just this morning, Fulani herdsmen reportedly attacked an Urhobo woman and her daughter on their farm in Ofunwengbe community, in Ovia South West LG of Edo State.

The woman, known as Mama Touuai, had reportedly been complaining about her farm being destroyed by the herdsmen and their cattle. She confronted them this morning at about 7:30 a.m. and they hacked her and her daughter after attempting to rape them at gunpoint. She barely escaped with her life intact and both mother and daughter are now in the hospital.

House of Reps. member, Hon. Omosede Igbinedion shared the news online alongside photos of the injured female.

An Urhobo woman farming in Ofunwengbe community, in Ovia South West LG of Edo State was attacked this morning by 7.30am whilst on her farm alongside her daughter, by Fulani herdsmen.

“The woman who is also known as Mama Touuai had been complaining to her people before today of the destruction being done to her farm by the cattle on a daily basis. She almost lost her life when she confronted the herdsmen today.
According to the woman, the Fulani herdsmen came to her farm and met her working before she knew what was happening, the herdsmen were trying to rape her by pointing a gun at her, but for her determination and boldness, she was able to drag the gun from him.
During the process of dragging the gun, another one used her cutlass she was using to work, to cause injury to her and her child.The child has since be taken to the specialist hospital in Benin.

Two sick brothers are on trial in Spain after inserting metal balls into their joysticks in order to cause more pain to the women they were raping.

When they were in jail, Cristian and Sebastian Sandulache made a series of cuts along their joysticks and inserted small metal balls into the incisions. The metal balls apparently makes sex more pleasurable to them, but more painful to the women with whom they practice it.

A court has been told how Cristian and Sebastian Sandulache love-vendor women at a brothel in Oviedo in Spain, where they raked in up to £10,000 each night. Prosecutors described how the brothers chopped off one woman’s arm with a samurai sword, while other women were forced to eat Euro notes if they failed to make enough money.

The brothers from Vaslui in Romania are facing 600 years in prison for the horrific crimes they committed. They are accused of human trafficking, coercive prostitution, and money laundering at the court of Audiencia Provincial de Oviedo.

At the trial, they were accused of using a henchman Ionut Baciu to “bring more water” to force the women to swallow the money, and warned: “If this happens again, next time you eat in coins.”

Cristian is the younger of the two, born in 1984, but is the head of the clan, while his older brother Sebastian occupies a more junior rank in the network.

Victims, known only as AC and AGM, described their experiences in court, and say they were tricked into believing the men were their boyfriends in their home country. They travelled to Spain hoping for a better way of life, but only when they arrived did they find that their apparent boyfriends were in fact twisted pimps who would subject them to beatings, rape, humiliations and threats, as well as forcing them into prostitution. One victim told the court that Cristian would threaten to “fire” or burn her mother and grandmother, while another said they threatened to rape her younger sister.

Some of the victims became pregnant because of the rapes, but were forced to abort the children, but had to go to Romania to perform the procedures as they had passed the 15th week of their pregnancy. Another victim was described as being a wrestler with physical strength, who the brother subjected to beatings that left her unable to move from bed for a week. Then they allegedly cut her arm off with a katana samurai sword.

The brothers reportedly loeached off most of the money the women made and sent them home to their own relatives in Romania. While making £10,000 in a night, the women in the brothel would only see around £200 per fortnight.

Reports suggest the brothers have 23 police records since their arrival in Spain in 2013, which includes human trafficking, rape, money laundering and a presumed armed robbery in the Galicia region. Before the trial they spent a week in prison, before paying 30,000 Euros as a deposit. The Olive Press reported they are still on the streets as the court ruled “they are not a flight risk”.

Kenya President, Uhuru Kenyatta said on Tuesday that any African can get a visa on arrival in Kenya, and will be free to settle in the country if they marry a Kenyan.

The president stated this during his inauguration address after being sworn-in for a second term in office, saying the move was designed to cement African ties.

Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta is a Kenyan politician and the fourth president of the Republic of Kenya. He served as the Member of Parliament for Gatundu South from 2002 to 2013.

A Nigerian man, identified as Emmanuel Akamabe has been nabbed at a motor park in Obudu, Cross River state with pistols and magazines buried in a bag of garri.

The 32-year-old suspect resident at Ranch Road in Obudu was arrested on Tuesday morning at the Obudu Motor Park by the Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Mr. Maritin Umbe.

He was found with two Barreta pistols, two empty magazines and two live rounds, hidden in a bag of garri.

The suspect claims he was taking the arms on an errand for one Mr. Ezekiel Bala, also known as, GUN RUNNER, from Wukari, Taraba state to deliver to a client with GSM 08036695154 in Calabar.

Four men have reportedly died at a popular drinking joint at Imerienwe community, Imo state after consuming locally-made alcohol, also known as Ogogoro.

The incident occurred at a joint owned by one Uwadiegwu EzeImo in Ngor-Okpala local government area of the state last week.

Agbara Emma, a community leader, said the victims started complaining of stomach pain few minutes after taking the drink and that the story changed by Saturday. He gave the names of those who died as Chibuzor Nwosu, Ifeanyi Nkwocha, Ada Danganer and Friday Osuji.

The community leader added that Chinonso Amadi, Nnadi Ike, Udoka Ukaegbu, Fineboy Ekeocha, Chiaka Ukaegbu, Onyemauche Igbo, Aboy Amadi, among others, survived after taking the gin.

An indigene, who did not want his name mentioned, said the owner of the bar, where the incident happened had absconded.

He said the survivors are in an intensive care unit of a hospital along Egbu Road, Owerri, while the remains of the dead have been deposited in a mortuary in Nguru, Ngor Okpala.

The Imo State Police Public Relations Officer, Andrew Enwerem who could not confirm the incident, said: “We have called the DPO of Imereinwe; he’s yet to confirm such incident to us.”

A former vice president of Nigeria, Dr Alex Ifeanyichukwu Ekwueme, has passed on at a London clinic where he was receiving treatment.

A statement issued Monday by the Ekwueme family and signed by his brother and the traditional ruler of Oko community in Anambra State, Igwe Laz Ekwueme, said the former vice president died at about 10:00pm in a London clinic on Sunday, November 19.

The statement read:

“Ekwueme family regrets to announce the peaceful passing away of their patriarch, the former Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Dr Alex Ifeanyichukwu Ekwueme GCON.

“The sad event occurred at the London Clinic at 10:00 pm on Sunday 19th November 2017.”

There had been some controversy surrounding the treatment of the former vice president following a press statement from the Nigerian presidency that President Muhammadu Buhari had directed that Dr Ekwueme be flown abroad for treatment. Many observers derided the statement as an attempt to politicise the suffering of the statesman and attract the sympathies of the south-east.

There were subsequently allegations that the government played no role in footing the medical bills of the former vice president and that his entitlements as a former vice president had not been paid his President Buhari assumed office. To counter the allegations, the presidency released images of newly appointed secretary-general of the federation (SGF), Mr Boss Mustapha paying a visit to Ekwueme at the London clinic but not much was said thereafter about paying for the treatment.

Ekwueme was flown abroad Sunday, November 12 in an air ambulance after being hospitalised at Memfys Hospital of Neurosurgery, Enugu, for what the family attributed to a chest infection.

This Day reported, that he collapsed at his Enugu residence and relapsed into coma before being rushed to the hospital where he was initially put on life support. Doctors were said to have advised that he should not be moved abroad until his condition stabilised.

At least one person has been killed and several injured in a communal clash involving the people of Gbanchuku/Kporoka and Numaye communities, all in Lokoja Local Government area of Kogi State.

DAILY POST learnt that trouble started when one of the newly installed chiefs from Numaye community claimed ownership of a particular portion of land which according to sources was not part of Numaye riverine community.

Eyewitness account revealed that when some youths in Kporoka community confronted Numaye people for encroaching in their land, argument ensued between both parties, which later snowballed into serious crisis resulting to the killing of one person and others injured.

An eyewitness said, “when the situation was going out of hand, as cutlasses we were used freely, we had to run for our dear lives.

“They came into our territory, attacked us and killed one of our own. All we need is justice and nothing more”.

Meanwhile, the Administrator of Lokoja Local Government Area, Shiru Lawal has called on both communities to remain calm as security agents were on top of the situation.

Retired Boxer, Floyd Money Mayweather, who’s well known for him flamboyan and extravagant lifestyle, has added a new flashy item to his list of luxurious properties.

The undefeated boxer, was spotted carrying a diamond encrusted iPod and a matching headphone, while heading out with his girl, Keyshia Cole, for a date at the Catch Restaurant in West Hollywood, California.

According to reports, the iPod which is made of solid 18K gold and has more than 100 carats of diamonds in it, is worth $1 million. The matching headphones are sold for $50K.

The Kaduna State Command of the Nigerian Police has arrested a cripple for giving information to a gang of kidnappers in Sabon Gayan Village in the state.

The cripple, identified as Kamilu Mohammed, was paraded on Friday alongside eight other suspected criminals arrested for series of crimes, ranging from kidnapping, armed robbery, car snatching and cocaine trafficking.

The eight other suspects were identified as Umaru Ibrahim Mujuma (Gang Leader), Jibrin Adamu, Samaila Haruna, Ibrahim Mohammed, Ibrahim Idris, Iliya Adamu, Ifeanyi Linus, Silas Kelvin (receiver of robbed car and a confessed cocaine dealer)

According to a statement by CSP Jimoh Moshood, Force Public Relations Officer, all the suspects were arrested at Sabon Gayan.

He said the police also recovered one AK47 Rifle, one locally made Revolver Pistol two Single Barrel locally made gun, seven (7) rounds of AK47 ammunition, one (1) round of live Cartridges and two Toyota corolla vehicles.

The statement reads: “Consequent on the gruesome killing of a Youth Leader Haruna Maikudi Maikaji in his farm at Sabon Gayan Village in Kaduna State on Sunday, 12th November, 2017, the Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim K. Idris commiserate with the family of the slain Youth Leader and the people of Sabon Gayan village and mandated Operation Absolute Sanity to fish-out the perpetrators and bring them to justice.

“In the course of investigation into the killing and the operation embarked by personnel of Operation Absolute Sanity in Sabon Gayan Village and environ to root out and arrest the killers of the Youth Leader, the Special Tactical Squad team attached to Operation Absolute Sanity on trail of the killers, were ambushed and attacked by the gang responsible for the killing of the Youth Leader.

“The information to the Gang was traced to a Cripple, Kamilu Mohammed who phoned the Kidnappers to inform them that the Police are on their way to their hideout in the forest.

“The Special Tactical Squad personnel attached to Operation Absolute Sanity repelled the attack and in the process, two (2) of the suspected kidnappers died as a result of the superior fire power of the Police personnel while a Police NCO sustained injury and currently receiving treatment in the hospital.

“The Cripple Kamilu Mohammed was later arrested and currently under investigation.

“The above mentioned kidnap for ransom gang, car snatchers and cocaine dealer suspects were arrested from different locations and three (3) victims, names withheld, were rescued from their hideout without payment of any ransom.

“The suspects were identified by their victims and have equally confessed to the various criminal roles they played in the commission of the crime.

“They will all be arraigned on completion of investigation into the cases against them.

“The ongoing raids on criminal hideouts, black spots will be sustained to reduce crime and criminality to the barest nationwide.”

A-24 year old man, Micheal Duda, has said that he kidnapped his teenage girlfriend identified as Victory Aseguah with the intention of raising money for their wedding.

Micheal ‎stated this on Thursday when he was paraded alongside 104 suspects arrested for various crimes ranging from kidnapping, rape, armed robbery to cultism at the headquarters of the Edo Police Command in Benin, the Edo State capital.

He said the girlfriend just finished secondary school and there was no way he could approached the parents that he wanted to marry their daughter.

Speaking to journalists, Micheal said he kept the girl in his house for four days and asked her father to pay him the sum of N2m.

Micheal who said he sells dispensable cups admitted that he had sex with the girl all through the four days the girl spent in his house.

“I live at Ekae community off Sapele road. She came to my house. We planned to collect money from her father to raise money for our marriage but I did not collect the money again. She stayed in my house for four days.

“I couldn’t tell the father I want to marry his daughter. She said her father would not support the idea because she was yet to go to the university. She was with me for four days. The man said he has no money to pay. I was at home with the girl when police came and arrested me,” he said.

But Victory who was present at the parade said they met on facebook and after several days, she decided to visit him.

Victory said she was surprised that the boy kidnapped her when she got there and heard that the boy demanded for N4m from her father.

Rodha, the elder sister of Victory, said her sister was sexually abused before the police rescued her.

On the alleged plans to get married, she laughed saying, “My sister is 16 years old and has never slept outside before. She told me they met on Facebook and the boy professed love to her. When she went to the house, she said the boy hatched the plan and said he would collect N10,000 from our father but the boy demanded for N4m.

“He will lock her inside the house and called us threatening that he will kill her if we did not pay. He took advantage of my sister’s condition.

“She told me the boy is 21 and a student but she later saw that it was a lie. We took her for treatment after the rescue.”

On his part, the Police Commissioner in Edo, Babatunde Kokumo, said the suspects would soon be charged to court.

He listed items recovered from other suspects within the past three weeks to include; five AK 47 rifles, military weapons. 33 cut to size guns, motor-cycles, 90 live AK 47 ammunition, 234 live cartridges, assorted vehicles and the sum of N1.2m.
