PoliticsImagine What Gov Fayose Said To The People Of Edo State by babile(op):
Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has urged the people of Edo State to give their votes to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu on Saturday, saying;

“Edo people should not make the same mistake Nigerians made last year by enthroning the All Progressives Congress (APC) government of President Mohammadu Buhari.”

The governor, who also called on the people of Edo State to be extra vigilant before, during and after the election, said;

“the people should not just vote and go to sleep, they must make sure that their votes count and victory is ensured for Pastor Ize-Iyamu who is unarguably the best among the contenders.”

According to a statement issued on Tuesday by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, Governor Fayose said “party sentiment apart, Pastor Ize-Iyamu has campaigned through the nooks and crannies of Edo State to sell his visions and missions to the people of the State and anyone who saw the Channels Television debate on Sunday will agree with me that Pastor Ize-Iyamu is better equipped for the governance of Edo State.”

The governor declared that;

“If you believe in me and you are a voter in Edo State, give your vote to Pastor Ize-Iyamu, the man who has demonstrated the required capacity to lead Edo State to prosperity.”

He said; “Opportunity to choose comes once in four years and the people of Edo State must grab this opportunity to change the fortune of the State for the better.

CareerHow To Turn Your Ambition Into Income by babile(op): 2:27pm On Sep 06, 2016
This is for hungry entrepreneurs who dream about building a successful business, becoming a millionaire, and living life on their own terms. This unwavering ambition is the fuel that drives most entrepreneurs to succeed.

Successful entrepreneurs use their ambition to become the best in the world at what they do and invest their time, energy and money wisely.

Focus your ambition on the following six success principles to drastically increase your income and achieve your wildest dreams.

1. Start Rich

If you want to be rich, start by feeling rich. Being wealthy is a state of mind; it involves feeling abundant from within, irrespective of the dollar amount in your bank account.

Tony Robbins says that the secret to wealth is gratitude. Practicing gratitude daily helps you live in the present moment and learn to fully appreciate life.

2. Accept Responsibility

With such an unstable job market, now is the time for entrepreneurs to absolutely despise being average, to refuse living a life of mediocrity, and avoid living like the majority of the population. You need to wake up and take full control of your financial future by accepting 100% responsibility for your current situation. Determine the reasons why you are where you are. Stop passing blame, and become relentless to change it.

3. Gain a Competitive Edge

Like everything in life, building wealth starts once you learn to master yourself. Wealthy entrepreneurs gain their competitive advantage by consistently training to become physically and mentally strong.

Entrepreneurs must understand how money works before they can make it, why most people struggle before they thrive, and how to play the game before they can effectively change it.

This is achieved through continual learning and mastering the most important success principles. In order to stay sharp and 100% focused on your goals, you must become physically strong to have the energy and stamina necessary to operate at the highest levels.

4. Develop Mental Fortitude

The vast majority of truly successful people have an undeniable mental fortitude. They ask powerful, quality questions, brainstorm, and find solutions rather than looking for excuses. Examples include:

“Is this purchase I’m about to make towards short-term pleasure or long-term wealth?”
“Is it an intelligent or emotional purchase?”
“Am I maximizing my productivity?”
“Is my team as productive as they could be?”
“How much value have I provided to my clients?”

5. Be Selective

The biggest mistake I see entrepreneurs make is accepting or paying for financial advice from those who don’t have financial freedom or a respectable level of net worth.

Be highly selective about whom you take financial advice from. Be diligent with your research; find out information about their achievements, lifestyle and wealth to determine if there is an alignment with what you would like to achieve. Many people receive advice from pretenders or imitators. Once you clear yourself from this noise, you will find individuals who operate at the highest level. They are worth every penny, and your return on investment will be tenfold.

If you believe money can solve your problems as an entrepreneur, then prepare for a long, rough ride. If you have money without financial intelligence, money can quickly disappear from your bank account and into someone else’s. Intelligence is required to solve problems, which requires investment in your personal growth in order to become the best version of yourself.

6. Assess Your Daily Routine

If you are not satisfied with your routine, then stop doing what you are doing. Determine what needs to change and take positive, active steps to create the results you want. Regardless of your past decisions, remember that you are one decision away from making the right decision.

Develop a sense of urgency and get on your grind to maximize your income by developing a daily routine and sticking to it. This is non-negotiable if you want to produce quick results. Extraordinary income is derived from fast implementation.

Ultimately, your bank account has nothing to do with who you are. Start from within and start rich. Master these six principles and watch your ambition quickly transform into the income you desire so you can live a life of freedom and achieve your wildest dreams.

PoliticsRevealed: Niger Delta Avengers Writes Open Letter To President Buhari by babile(op): 10:32am On Aug 30, 2016
Niger Delta Avengers have written an open letter to President Buhari, accusing him of using the military through its new formation,  Operation Crocodile Smile, to carry out pre-determined genocide in the Niger Delta region. The Nigerian Army last week launched the “Operation Crocodile Smile” which they say is just a training drill designed to prepare the Amphibious Division for a better mastery of the Niger Delta terrain.

The militant groups in its open letter, allege that the military formation is part of a pre-determined genocide to be carried out in the Niger Delta region. The group says President Buhari’s statement in Kenya over the weekend that they should come forward for negotiation or be treated as Boko Haram members, gives credence to the allegations of pre-determined genocide. Read the statement signed by the group’s spokesperson,  Brig.Gen Mudoch Agbinibo, below…

WE CALL ON PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI TO PUT AWAY THE GARB OF A STOOGE TO THE IMPERIALISTS, WHENEVER HE SPEAKS OUTSIDE NIGERIA. WE HAVE LISTENED CAREFULLY AND HALTED HOSTILITIES IN THE NIGER DELTA; WE EXPECT A GENUINE AND POSITIVE ATTITUDE TO RESTRUCTURING AND SELF-DETERMINATION FOR EVERY COMPONENT UNIT OF NIGERIA. DEAR PRESIDENT, WHAT MAKES THOSE COUNTRIES (JAPAN, GERMANY, FRANCE, USA, BRITAIN ETC.) GREAT IS THE ABILITY OF THEIR GOVERNMENTS TO ACCOMMODATE INTERNAL PROTESTATIONS AND CONFLICTS FOR THE GREATER GOOD OF THEIR NATIONS OVER THE YEARS. PLEASE STOP PRESENTING YOUR GOVERNMENT AS PAWN TO THE WEB OF MILITARY INDUSTRIALISTS COMPLEX, WHENEVER YOU LEAVE THE SHORES OF NIGERIA.

NIGERIA IS NOT A ONE-MAN PERSONAL PROPERTY WE MUST HAVE THESE TALKS EVERY TIME IF THIS UNION MUST CONTINUE TO WORK AS ONE. THE PEOPLE OF THE NIGER DELTA HAVE BEEN LIVING HERE FROM TIME IMMEMORIAL, SO WE HAVE THE SECRET OF THE TERRAIN AND SURVIVAL OF AMPHIBIOUS OPERATIONS. NO AMOUNT OF TROOP SURGE AND SIMULATION EXERCISES WILL MAKE YOU WIN THE OIL WAR, YOU CAN ONLY WIN BATTLES.

YOU CANNOT APPLY THE MIGHT OF THE STATE TO RESTORE THE PEOPLE’S CONFIDENCE IN YOUR LEADERSHIP WHEN YOU CANNOT DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN GENUINE DEMANDS AND BEING MISMANAGED BY DISORGANIZED CHARACTERS AND TRIBAL LORDS AROUND YOU IN YOUR GOVERNMENT THAT ARE PLAYING THE COURT JESTERS ROLE AS WELL AS COUNTING THE DAYS THAT IS LEFT IN YOUR FOUR YEARS TERM. YOU CAN DECEIVE THE WHOLE WORLD BUT WE CANNOT BE DECEIVED BY THE SO GLAMORIZED ONGOING MILITARY OPERATIONS IN THE CREEKS OF IJAW COMMUNITIES IN THE DELTA CODED ” OPERATION CROCODILE SMILES”… THE WORLD SHOULD KNOW THAT WITH YOUR PRONOUNCEMENT IN KENYA AND YOUR ATTITUDE TO THE MILITARY BUILD UP IN THE NIGER DELTA, IT IS CRYSTAL CLEAR THAT THE MILITARY HAS NOTHING LESS THAN A PRE-DETERMINED GENOCIDE IN NIGER DELTA AND BURN MORE ALREADY SCARED NATIONAL RESOURCES TO THE POCKETS OF THOSE THAT HAVE FAILED TO LOCATE THE MISSING  CHIBOKS SCHOOL GIRLS.

CONCLUSIVELY, DEAR PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI PLEASE ALSO TELL THOSE FOREIGN NATIONS THAT YOU ARE ALWAYS AT EASE TALKING TO, WHILE REFUSING TO LISTEN TO NIGERIANS THAT YOUR TROOPS ARE ABOUT TO CARRYING OUT EXTRA JUDICIAL KILLINGS IN THE NIGER DELTA IN VIOLATION OF ARTICLE FOUR OF THE GENEVA CONVENTION WITH “OPERATION CROCODILE SMILES”. ALL SANE MINDS KNOWS THE MEANING OF ” CROCRODILE TEARS” SO BY CODE-NAMING YOUR MILITARY OPERATION CROCODILE SMILES ONLY BETRAYS YOUR MOTIVES AND ATTITUDE TO THE WHOLE WORLD ABOUT THE NIGER DELTA QUESTION.

THE WHOLE WORLD WILL SURELY APPLAUD YOU IN THE HAGUE WHEN YOU LEAVE OFFICE! THIS IS NOT THE NIGERIA AND THE WORLD OF THE 1980S AND 1990S UNDER GENERAL SANI ABACHA AND YOUR WATCH.

Chelsea on Saturday announced the signing of Leicester City’s defensive midfielder N’Golo Kante on a five-year deal to become new boss Antonio Conte’s second capture of the summer.

The fee for the French international was about £32 million (38 million euros, $42 million), British media said, and comes after Chelsea snapped up Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi from Marseille for a similar fee.

“I am so happy to have signed for one of the biggest clubs in Europe. It’s a dream come true for me,” the 25-year-old Kante told Chelsea’s website.

“The opportunity to work with Antonio Conte, a brilliant coach, and some of the best players in the world was simply too good to turn down.”

Kante, signed for Leicester last summer from French club Caen for a bargain £5.6 million, was a revelation breaking down attacks during his maiden season in England as Claudio Ranieri’s side became shock Premier League champions.

He was named on the six-man shortlist for the PFA Players’ Player of the Year award – won by Foxes team-mate Riyad Mahrez – but his displays also brought him to the attention of Europe’s biggest clubs.

“My first season in English football was very special and now I hope to go on to achieve even more during my time as a Chelsea player,” added Kante.

“I am looking forward to meeting up with my new team-mates and helping the club achieve a lot of success.”

Chelsea’s technical director Michael Emenalo called Kante “a perfect fit in terms of Antonio Conte’s philosophies and the style of football he wants to play.

“For a player of his age he has already built up a wealth of experience and his exceptional quality will without doubt be a great addition to the team.”

CrimePhoto: Evangelist, Three Others Arrested In Imo State For Stealing A 4-year-old by babile(op): 11:06pm On Jun 17, 2016
Four child traffickers, including an evangelist were arrested and paraded on Wednesday, June 15, by the police for allegedly kidnapping a four year old child from her school, St Joseph Primary School in Umuhu-Okabia in Orsu local government area of the state.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Andrew Enwerem who paraded the suspects said that the little girl Chinasa Okeke was abducted by Chibueze Okorie,20, in connection with Chinonso Ogbedi, Ijeoma Ogbuehi, an acclaimed Evangelist and Joy Nwosu all of Orsu local government whose plan was to sell the child.

According police Mr Enwerem, the child was rescued following information from the members of the public on the whereabouts of the suspected human traffickers.

"On Friday, we received distress calls that one Chinasa Okeke was stolen from her school, we swung into ation immediately where we rescued the child unhurt and arrested these four miscreants in the process who have all confessed to the crime". the PPRO disclosed

Confirming the incident, the prime suspect, Okorie said that Miss Ogbuehi asked him to abduct the little child, promising to reward him with two hundred thousand Naira (N200,000) when she gets a buyer but unfortunately for him, she never got to pay him as at the time of their arrest. Ogbedi, Nwosu's boyfriend, said the child was sold in Ihiala, Anambra State for an unspecified amount

Ogbuehi, a graduate of Trinity College of Ministerial Acts, Aba in Abia state denied promising to give Okorie N200,000 as he alleged, claiming to be legally qualified to adopt less privileged children, even as she failed to show any certificate to back her claim.

PoliticsEFCC Says Freezing Of Accounts Under Investigation Not Vindictive by babile(op): 10:05pm On Jun 13, 2016
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has said that the freezing of accounts of those being investigated for financial crimes is lawful and not vindictive as is being insinuated.

Mr Wilson Uwujaren, Head of Media and Publicity of the commission, explained this in a statement on Monday in Abuja.
It explained that the action was a lawful mandatory investigative step.

Indeed, Section 34 (1) of the EFCC Act 2004 empowers the commission to freeze any account suspected of being used for financial crimes,’’ the statement quoted Uwujaren as saying.

It said the section empowers the commission’s chairman or any authorised officer to order the freezing of such account if he was satisfied that the money in the account was made fraudulently.

It added that the commission by the Act has the power to issue or instruct a Bank examiner or such other appropriate authority to freeze such account.

It further said that 2012 amended Money Laundering Prohibition Act also empowers the EFCC chairman or his representatives to place a stop order on accounts or transactions suspected to be involved in crime.

The statement added that the Act was to ensure that the commission safeguards suspected proceeds of crime pending the completion of its investigation.

It is without prejudice to the social standing of the holder of such accounts or whether they are individual, corporate or government accounts.

Freezing orders are incidental to investigation and doing otherwise will jeopardise the prospects of recovering stolen assets,’’ the statement said.

PoliticsNiger Delta Avengers States Conditions For Dialogue With FG by babile(op): 6:20pm On Jun 13, 2016
The Niger Delta Avengers on Monday said it was open to dialogue with the Federal Government, but said such talks would happen if the government met their conditions.

“We want the federal government to commit members states of the multinational oil Corporations to commit independent mediators to this proposed dialogue,” said the group’s spokesperson, Mudoch Agbinibo.

“We believed that it is only such environment that will engender genuine dialogue that will be aimed at setting up a framework for achieving the short, medium and long-term demands of the Niger delta to de-escalating this conflict and bring about a lasting peace.”

Agbinibo restated the group’s readiness to “attack the interest of oil corporation and international refineries operators that bring in vessels to the Niger delta territory to buy our oil that every successive government has refused to use and reapply the proceeds towards any development in the region since 1958.

“If they refuse be heed (sic) to our advice will result to sinking of two their mother vessel as an example to others. They should not undertake any repair of pipeline, oil and gas facilities that is damaged or attacked by our forces during this period of “Operation Red Economy” until and/or after the dialogue.”

He said the government should show ‘genuine attitude’ and provide a conducive atmosphere for the proposed talks.

Minister of state for petroleum resources,Emmanuel Kachikwu, said on June 6 that the Federal Government was keen on exploring the dialogue option in solving the renewed crisis in the region.

“We are making contacts with everybody who is involved, the ones that we can identify, through them, the ones that we can’t identify so that there is a lot more inclusiveness in this dialogue,” he said.

But NDA had declined to dialogue with the government, demanding that oil multinationals leave the region.

The group has emerged as the most prominent militant group in the Niger Delta region in 2016 with series of attacks launched on oil installations belonging to Shell, Chevron, ENI and Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

The strikes have cut Nigeria’s output to a 20-year low, crashing daily crude production to 1.4 million barrels per day from 2.2 million bpd.

CrimeAnother Armed Robber Arrested In Anambra State by babile(op): 2:50pm On Jun 12, 2016
45 year old Richard Macaulay Obafemi, a medical doctor who trained at the University College London, has been arrested for Armed robbery by the Anambra state police command.

According to The Sun, Richard had his primary and secondary school education at Ipaja, Lagos State before proceeding to the University College London, UCL, where he obtained a degree in Microbiology in 1987 and later studied medicine at University Colege London UCL, from 1987-1992.

In 1993, he did the housemanship in Hatsfield, London. In 1996, Obafemi who is an indigene of Ogun state, came to Nigeria for the National Youth Service Corps Scheme and was posted to Kwara State. At the end of the service year, Obafemi took up appointment with the College of Medicine, University of Benin, where he worked for two years from 1998 to 2000, before travelling to Saudi Arabia. He thereafter got another job offer at the University of Ghana in 2006 and worked there till 2015 when he decided to visit Nigeria.

“In 2015, I came to Nigeria and visited Kaduna State. During that trip, a car I was driving had an accident and the victim died. I was charged to court and remanded at Kaduna Central Prison. But I was later released from prison on April 8, 2016". While in prison, Obafemi developed a relationship WITH two other inmates, Stephen and Ifeanyi who were professional car snatchers and armed robbers. When he left prison, he met with these men who had also regained freedom and they convinced him to join their business. “After I left prison, I had followed Ifeanyi to Asaba and joined their gang, which specialized in snatching cars. We have stolen cars like Lexus, SUV in Lagos State, which I drove to Katsina State to sell to buyers from Niger Republic. I sold one for N450,000. I didn’t go back to University of Ghana because when I was in prison in Kaduna, I didn’t communicate with them. When I came out from prison, I found out that there was no going back. I decided to join the armed robbery gang to earn a living. I am married and blessed with three children. I lost my wife, Mary in 2012 while my three children are in Canada.”

Luck however ran out on them when the Anambra state police arrested an alleged member of their gang, Vincent, in Onitsha who revealed information to the police. Investigations by the police led to the arrest of Obafemi on May 17th at a hotel in Anambra.

The police will charge him and his accomplices to court soon.

PoliticsTompolo Appeals To Niger Delta Avengers To Stop Attacking Pipelines by babile(op): 9:06pm On Jun 11, 2016
Former militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, has appealed to members of the Niger Delta Avengers, to stop their continuous attack on oil installations in the Niger Delta Region. Tompolo who has been declared wanted after failing to appear before a court for corruption charges, made his appeal in a statement he released today June 10th. In the statement, Tompolo insisted he has no link with the militant group. Part of his statement reads;

“I wish to once again write the members of the Niger Delta Avengers to embrace the Federal Government dialogue option as a way out of the brewing crisis in the Niger Delta region. As I have said before now, I do not know you and how to reach you except through the mass media, therefore it is high time you stopped the bombing and destruction of crude oil facilities in the Niger Delta region. One thing you guys may not be aware of is that you have not only succeeded in militarizing the Niger Delta region now, but also succeeded in given birth to so many negotiators and political jobbers within the government circle, who are very serious rumour peddlers in the country now. Presently all communities in Gbaramatu kingdom have been deserted by residents for fear of a repeat of the 2009 military invasion, which still leave the communities in shambles. Even until now, the military has not returned the symbol of authority they took away from the Egbesu Shrine and other valuables in Oporoza community during the May 28, 2016 invasion. It is pertinent to state that I have not heard and seen in any part of Nigeria, even the most volatile North Eastern part of Nigeria, where Boko Haram has been killing innocent people, the way and manner the Military desecrated the traditional worship centres in Gbaramatu Kingdom. This is a clear oppression and intimidation of the peace loving people of Gbaramatu Kingdom Another dangerous dimension my traducers have introduced into this issue is the allegation that some of my closest men are coordinators of the Niger Delta Avengers. In addition, this is currently trending in the social media, specifically in the niaja.com platform, that Benji Ekeremor, Super and Owomor aka VIP are the coordinators of the Avengers. The truth of the matter is that I can no longer endure these blackmails from my traducers, as I have seen that they are not resting in their oars, as they have vowed to implicate me by all means necessary. God forbid! To set the records straight, these are responsible men who had had skilled training under the Presidential Amnesty programme that are currently using their acquired skills to eke out a living. Therefore, the allegation that they are the coordinators of various axes of the Avengers is a malicious and mischievous one. On a final note, I wish to reiterate that you guys must stop the bombing and destruction of oil facilities in the Niger Delta region now and embrace the dialogue option from the Federal Government as it is (dialogue) the only pragmatic means in resolving a crisis no matter huge and complicated such crisis is. In addition, I believe fervently that the Government is serious and willing to end this re-occurring crisis in the Niger Delta region. Enough is enough,”.

PoliticsBoko Haram Kills Four Women In Borno by babile(op): 8:47pm On Jun 11, 2016
Boko Haram has killed four women in a remote village in Nigeria’s northeast in the latest attack by the Islamist group, local vigilantes assisting the military said on Saturday.

Fourteen Boko Haram gunmen on seven motorcycles stormed Mairari village, 80 kilometres from Maiduguri, the state capital late Friday and picked four women from their homes and slit their throats, they said.

The women were aged between 27 and 45.

“They went into four homes while residents were breaking their fast around 7:00 pm, brought out the four women and slaughtered them,” Babakura Kolo, a vigilante in Maiduguri told AFP.

“We believe the killings were targeted, the gunmen were from all indications after the husbands of the women,” he said.

“They killed the women when they didn’t find their husbands”.

Another vigilante, Musa Ari gave a similar account.

“The general feeling is that the women’s husbands either refused to accept Boko Haram’s invitation to join their ranks or the group suspects them of passing information about them to the authorities,” Ari told AFP.

Boko Haram has been accused of forcing residents to join its fighters or get killed.

The Islamist group has abducted thousands of people, including women and children who it used as conscripts, suicide bombers and sex slaves.

Boko Haram, which seeks a hardline Islamic legal system in northern Nigeria, has killed more than 20,000 people and displaced some 2.6 million since 2009.
