You don't need to be a pessimist. The greatest results ever achieved are those people thought will never happen. We just have believe in ourselves. We actually have nothing to lose. I am not seeking any political post but I need us all, the youths to believe in ourselves. These crooks have brainwashed us to the point that we think we can't achieve anything on our own meanwhile they always depend on us. Let us have an open mind because we have nothing to lose. We need to grow numbers and support these course with what ever we have .
Bro we are on the same page on this. just saying what has been obvious all along. and hope we are ready for this cos am in with all my heart and soul.

I will not waste my time masturbating on this topic. My teacher once told me that " it is not enough to know, you must take action". It is an open secret that politicians steal but what can we do to stop them? There are missing funds announced daily on tv and mass media's but what have we done with that information? We should Grab the future now. Stop complaining and mobilise people to take back Nigeria

Very good idea. But I think under the current Nigeria system, this idea have a very little or no chance of seeing the light of success.

You have all my support.
Although I have no interest for politics because all that is in my head is business.
AS A POLITICAL SCIENTIST. I MUST SAY THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT DEBATE THAT NEED TO BE EXPLORE TO THE LATTER.

I STRONGLY BELIEVE WITHOUT A RADICAL GENERATIONAL CHANGE OF POLITICAL LEADERSHIP. NOTHING WILL EVER WORK IN THIS COUNTRY. IRRESPECTIVE OF WHICH OF THIS OLD CROCKS IN CHARGE IT'S STILL THE SAME POLITICAL MENTALITY AND INTREST TO BE PROTECTED.

IT IS NEVER GOING TO BE OURS.
PoliticsAre You Old Enough To Lead Nigeria by Baboski4real(op): 11:37am On Oct 20, 2017
Is the Nigerian youths old enough to lead this country? How old is old enough to lead a country? If you are good enough are you not old enough?

Mr Igbokwe has just confirm my position and fear on this issue. the older generation of political leaders have significantly failled themselves but still will not move aside without been politically shown the door.

Nigerian youths should understand that the problem has always been the characteristic disposition of leaders and not a particular Religion, Tribe or region and untill we are able to mobilize and make the numerical value count for political streanth. we can never achieve the kind of life we deserve.

Political revolution has become the last mechanism to realizing any reasonable developmental success that peaple else were are enjoying.

PoliticsA Call For Political Revolution In Nigeria. by Baboski4real(op): 6:21pm On Oct 17, 2017
With what has been going on in national politics of Nigeria. especially since since 1999. It is obvious what the problem is. Hence, the call for a youths lead political revolution to establish a new begining.

Nigeria is potentially wealthy for overwelming majority to be this poor and hungry. hinged on recycling of political leadership. sustained inflicting of poverty on hopelless citizens and damage-control mechanism/approach to governance.

It is on this note that i am personally urging every well meaning Nigerians. especially the youths. To support the upcomming delebration on the actualization of POLITICAL REVOLUTION in Nigeria.

Irrespective of political party affilion. Socio-political sympathy. The opportunity is here. Lets actualize it collectivelly as a people or remain self inflicted with avoidable polical banditry.

Please. Lets all endevour to add our opinion to this legitimate process, ourselfs and country.

I do strongly share your optimism and believe in possibilities and will like to commed your individual and collective effort so far. but more importantly, i think the time for the birth of a political movement to address collective national challenges is now.

It is almost impossible for any single individual to single handedly address existing developmental quagmire in Nigeria without the realistic political apparatus. We must therefore add to existing logic of acting reactionary the revolutionary process of actually taking the political initiative.

Alot of what need to urgently improve remain untenable under existing political paradigme. Hence. By whatere political identity. It is time to evolve a political revolution to articulate a single comprehensive process for sustainable realization of our nation development potentials.

Politics"Nigerian Spring" In The Making by Baboski4real(op): 6:39pm On Oct 15, 2017
Generational cleancing of political leadership is long overdue. Present generation of political leadership have significantly failled themself. we should not also fail ourselves. we can not continue to legitimately complain over the systemic failure without taking the initiative to correct the anomaly collectively.

The existing political paradigm does not support policy articulation and realization of our national aspiration. we must therefore initiate the mechanism to redefine politics and reorganize developmental structure in the country.

For the youth in particular. you dont get what you want or deserve without politically fighting for it. lets have a open discusion on how to save ourself now and the future. otherwise if you give your right of deciding on what to do, when and how to do it in the hands of certain politicians. your intrest will always come last.

Lets assume President Buhari never made the 97% -3% comment. with the existing 36 states and FCT Abuja. is the Igbo getting less than the share of 5 states they predominate? and even if the Igbos are maginalized by Buhari. Is he going to remain in power forever?

Ever snce the death of President Umar Musa Yaradua the East has been in control of the polity by proxy. More so, since the inseption of democracy in 1999 (17) years. the North has been on top of the piramid for only (2) years now.

Arguably. even if Buhari perform bellow expectation it was Jonathans political ignoramus that made Buhari look a better alternative in 2015 otherwise. what happen to the over 8 million votes the North gave him in 2011 as agains 13 million from the entire East?

To those shouting maginalization and Biafra or death. How much has each of the state recieve since 1999 and what have they done with it? North East or west is not the problem but leadership as whole. Deal with it.

PoliticsThe Debate That Should Matter On Nairaland by Baboski4real(op): 9:12am On Oct 08, 2017
We need TRUE CHANGE WITHIN CHANGE in this country. we must put an end to this endless recycling of polititians. obviously, some of this politicians have been there forever with nothing to offer their constituents.

We must think about the political strategy to ensure true change in the polity. This state of hopelessness must come to an end. lets stop chasing shadow of the wrong enemy while the damage continues unabatted.

Giving the political clime, it may be hard to envisage. But still thats the best possible opportunity we have to make things work. this country has all that matter for a decent level of development and confort for those willing to sweat it out.

Lets start from somewhere atleast exchanging ideas on the way foword. instead of blamming someone for our individual and collective misfortune.

Politics2019 And Beyound.it Is Now Or Never. by Baboski4real(op): 8:40pm On Oct 06, 2017
Once i see the objectity in some debates on NAIRALAND. i do feel a sence of optimism for a better future in Nigeria. even though present generation of leadership and their policy obviously represent the intrest of just few.

I also think the problem is largely political leadership (GREED/PRIMITIVE ACCUMILATION) not Housa, Igbo or yoruba. neither the North, West or East.

Socio-political and economically. Nobody will help us secure a better future but our selfs. it is therefor imperative that we start from somewhere instead of unproductive blame game.

With 2019 loading. I am proposing that we create a dedicated thread with the tittle POLITICAL REVOLUTION IN NIGERIA. so that we can all contribute ideas on the way foword.

Before somebody ask. I am not dilutional. nor ignorant of the political reality in Nigeria. but an optimist who believe it is possible to make possible things poposible when we walk on the same side of things.

PoliticsPresident Muhammadu Buhari And Goodluck Johnathan. Animals Of The Same Kingdom! by Baboski4real(op): 8:02pm On Oct 05, 2017
There is this popular adage known to the Northern Nigeria which says

"You dont have a bad king but a bad council/leutenants"

With that in mind. Some Nigerians do believe that Ex President Goodluck was a "good man" from the hearth. But a "terrible administrator" which could imply that he didnt outrightly fail. But rather, it was his leutenants that actually failled him.

Unfortunately. the very same thing is gradually unfolding under President Muhammadu buhari.
To my understanding. I think Johnathan is a "Gentle man" but he let is political ambition very obvious to everyone which was maximumly exploited by his leutenants.

While in the case of Buhari. I think he "Mean well" for the country. But "lack 21centry political acumen" in addition to being "very slow" and "too much silence" A situation that is also exoloited from both side of political devide.

What do you think?

REFERANDUM, MARGINALIZATION or
RESTRUCTURUMING!

Political and economic deductions which propels the activities of IPOB is strategically. why Biafra will remain a idea and not a political reality. While the fundamental yardstick is to be found in the bloody civil war (National Security) therefore. Note the following.

A- Except the corporate Nigeria is certain in the level of Ndigbos anger over the civil war (Vengeance) Nigeria will remain as it geographically exist.

B- IPOB may have squandered a rare opportunity to take political power.Back to the people through wrong choices and approrch.

C- The haterade for President Muhammadu Buhari (2015) is instrumental to the push of IPOB activities.

D- Igbo presidency will remain sleeping due to lack of TRUST.

E- Igbos are key benifactor of the Nigeria project.

F- President Buhari will come and go Nigeria will remain.

G- To survive. IPOB need rebranding as a political ideology, not disintegration of the country.

Wisdom please.
