The fact Oyetola got 35 votes at Adeleke's polling unit should be concerning.

I just feel bad for how stupid Nigerians can be. You people are voting in the party (APC) which has destroyed your state.... all the while saying you voted out the party which you claim destoryed the entire national (PDP) in the last election.

Things like this would never happen in developed countries where they are actually educated.

I don't understand this issue of everybody begging Tinubu to back Ambode..is Tinubu God? As a sitting governor, I don't expect Ambode to be begging for support, but rather have his own support group who should be able to deliver him in the forthcoming primaries.

We cannot be accusing Tinubu of imposition and at the same time asking him to impose Ambode on others. Moreover the former governor has only 1 Vote.

Femi Fani-Kayode, former Minister of Aviation has queried President Muhammadu Buhari’s latest appointment of new Director-General of Department of State Security, DSS.

Buhari in a statement by his Spokesman, Garba Shehu appointed Yusuf Magaji Bichi as the new Director General of the DSS.

Magaji replaces Matthew Seiyeifa, who has been operating in an acting capacity since Lawal Daura was dismissed.

Reacting to the news, Fani-Kayode in a tweet said the appointment of Yusuf Magaji as the new DSS DG confirms Buhari’s Islamisation agenda. According to him, the appointment shows that Buhari cannot trust any southerner or Christian to hold any sensitive positions. He wrote: “I congratulate President Muhammadu Buhari for proving me right once again by appointing yet another northern Muslim to head the DSS and for refusing to appoint a Southerner and a Christian.

“For the last 3 years every single security and intelligence agency in our nation and every branch of our Armed Forces apart from the Navy has been headed by a northern Muslim.

“As far as Buhari is concerned no southerner and no Christian is competent enough or can be trusted enough to hold any of those critical and sensitive positions. “Since 2015 I have been warning Nigerians about this man’s agenda but they have refused to listen. Let us hope that now they know better and that their eyes will open before it is too late.

“Buhari’s fulanisation and Islamisation agenda is there for all to see. You either play the fool, pretend it does not exist and keep your mouth shut or you play the man, recognise it for what it is and resist it.”

A former Sapeaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Mr. Adejare Bello, has resigned his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state.

Bello, who is from Ede, the hometown of the governorship candidate of the PDP, Senator Ademola Adeleke, confirmed his resignation of membership to our correspondent on the telephone on Monday.

Although the former speaker did not say he had joined the All Progressives Congress, sources close to him and those in the APC confirmed that he had joined the ruling party.

The Director of Publicity, Research and Strategy of the APC in Osun State, Mr Kunle Oyatomi, also confirmed to our correspondent that Bello had joined the ruling party.

Bello was the running mate of Senator Iyiola Omisore, who was then the candidate of the PDP during the 2014 governorship election in the state.

A friend of BinMaliq wrote on Facebook, “We lost one of our own Buharist on Thursday night by car accident. He promised to donate 50,000 for the purchase of Presidential form for Baba Buhari but God did not destined him to witness Buhari’s reelection. May Almighty God forgive his shortcomings and give his family the fortitude to bear his lost. RIP.”
