PoliticsRe: 2015: I’m Used To Going To Jail – Gov. Lamido by babslamin: 3:27pm On Sep 12, 2013
Not surprise to hear these words from this man
Same Lamido that abuses the queen during her visit to Nigeria, that was the reason he was expelled from Barewa college
Same Lamido that was locked up in jail after Shagari tenure
Same Lamido that was flocked several times in jail during Abacha's regime
Late Rimi confessed of crying when flocked in prison but was surprised to see Lamido's eyes dry without shivering.
Same Lamido was once a traditional local boxer back in the days
Same Lamido that never keep a secret, he expose tinz easily when pushed
He still beat and abuse people working under him
He his a demigod in jigawa state govt, cos he neva shy away from disgracing people for their mistakes
Sad but true has no manners
He his a dirty politician without fear
He never run away after uttering words always ready to face the consequencies unlike his colleagues like Atiku, late Rimi etc who are always on the run to airport after uttering words during military regime
His among the oldest players in 9ja politics presently
Lastly i admire his work in jigawa state but i hate how he gives his children power to run d state in term of state contracts

PoliticsRe: Dress Code In Lagos House Of Assembly Worthy Of Emulation by babslamin: 3:29pm On Aug 07, 2013
Rossikk: What a lousy, illiterate write-up by a colonised mental slave with no sense of dignity, self-worth, or independence.

The audacity this pig has to equate African attire with 'uncivilization' and western attire with 'civilization' alone is enough to confine him to a mental hospital for the severely reta.rded. Worse is his smug assurance that he can actually equate his self-hatred to some sort of 'enlightenment', positing that our traditional attire were created ''hundreds of years ago''. Well the western suit WAS invented 'hundreds of years ago' too, and, like African wear, has only been modified as the years progressed. Why can't this goat advocate a more 'work-friendly' transitional process for African wear if that's his thing, if not for his colonised self hatred? Just as this goat is happy to import his language, his religion, his eating habits, his car, he also wants to jettison his indigenous wear for imported clothes alone. How long before pigs like this begin to advocate for mass skin bleaching of all Africans to ensure we ''meet up'' with the light skinned colour of ''civilization''? It seems all we've got left to remind us of who we are is the skin colour. Don't bet against self-hating orang outangs and swine like this writer campaigning to shed that too.

Finally, the writer's claim that ''The wearing of cap is not indigenous to any ethnic group in Nigeria'' shows his GROSS HISTORICAL ILLITERACY, and that he is an absolute DUNCE where it concerns Nigerian/African history. A walking white dunce in black skin. An embarrassment to every living African, and a caricature representation of the bamboozled slave steeped in ignorance and self-loathing. The sooner his loathsome ilk die away from our independent society the better for us all.

PoliticsRe: APC: political Party Or Coalition by babslamin: 9:15pm On Aug 03, 2013
Nigerians are delighted that APC has come to stay. I will prefer coup to happen if its all about coalition. Nigerians are not waiting to see another party at the centre without a positive transformation. All I see is that All Progressives Congress, APC. Now its the dawn of a new beginning for Nigeria. If truly but truly the party has something different to offer, it should start telling Nigerians, NOW. Should i look too blunt to some and too blind to others, we are all children of Adam. Imperfection! If only what APC intends to achieve in power is to cage corruption, other things would fall in line, obediently... I guess Two party system will make Nigeria democracy more interesting if its welcome. However, It is predictable, I hate it though, that Dr. Jonathan would be the 1st Nigerian sitting president to be defeated at the polls.

Finally the supposed head of the Boko Haram sect in Nigeria was surrounded by the Nigerian Army in a hilly terrain in Borno state, unfortunately gallant men of the Army paid with their dear lives for us to have peace, May their souls rest in peace.

PoliticsRe: Maryam Uwais - "Senator Yerima And Constitutional Review" by babslamin: 5:49pm On Jul 22, 2013
The Nigerian Senators know that if they set a minimum age & remove the ambiguity in our constitution, many of them would be in jail in days. Childbride is not about religion It's about some twisted sexual urge of some Nigerian men as represented by our Senators, who are mostly men. More than N13Billion in salaries, allowances & benefits yet some 35 serving senators & most of the rest pretenders have not listed a single Bill in their name since 2011. We must ask out senators to come home & explain..
When senators overruled the people things like this happen

PoliticsRe: US Report Cautions Nigeria Of Civil War by babslamin: 3:08pm On Jul 21, 2013
drauj: It is said not all that glitters is gold. Anyone doubting the ability of the US in determining the future of Nigeria is not realistic. Jonathan went into fragile ties with China and gullible Nigerians were jubilating. US is a country that holds its survival above everything in the strict sense. I have a soft spot for GEJ but I know he has made a wrong move here. OBJ is already meeting with very very strong politicians in the North. I just hope Jonathan is really a patriot who knows his limits. This post is for people with eyes to see not those blinded by ethno-religious sentiments.
Don't worry GEJ has yerima's backing and wif almighty yerima all senators wil back retard GEJ
PoliticsRe: Protest Against Child Marriage To Hold Today In Lagos,Abuja And Other States by babslamin: 12:26pm On Jul 20, 2013
Dereformer: This is why I keep saying something must be wrong with Islam. Asari dokubo said toddler marriage is the right of Moslems.

I served in the north, what I saw during those days made me conclude that if Nigeria disintegrate, the North will suffer seriously.

Nine in every twelve teenage girls were pregnant at that time. It was during my stay there that I heard of an ailment called VVF suffered by teenage girls as a result of pregnancy.

In terms of education, in 100 years to come the north will be nowhere close to the south; even if their cut-off mark for admission is reduced to 1 from the current 2.

Child abuse is what our Islamic senators want to legalize in this country.

Every well meaning Nigerian should say no to this.

On the alternative, child abuse should be legalized in the north.
Please don't categorize this nonsense child abuse to islam. The amendment wasn't even about marriage or marital age but about the right of the married female (young or not) to renounce citizenship. The senate over there are just creating the way to legalize their abuses on the citizens they represent. I am against the abuse of children in any form. By the way teenage pregnancy in the south is much than in the north #ChildMarriage to the Northerners, right? & so is #SexWithUnderageGirls to the Southerners, true? Lets stop this hypocrisy/bigotry. Both Are Crime

If Goodluck & Chibuike want to fight, they should both resign & get into the boxing or wrestling ring. Nobody [s]elected fighters. #Nigeria

Foreign AffairsRe: 42 Killed And 322 Injured In Egypt by babslamin: 11:11pm On Jul 08, 2013
Feed me more: It's a typical ploy that extremists have been using over and over again. They send innocent, gullible uneducated youth to instigate confrontations and let their blood spilled to create headlines and whip up anger.

The military has no choice but to use force to avoid their compound being over run and their weapons taken.
If the Egyptian President couldn't find his bearing & the opposition raised alarm, is it an indication of inviting the army? If Egyptians could overthrow Husni Mubarak without the military, why should the military be involved in overthrowing an elected President? Morsi got 51.7% of Egyptian votes or over ½ of Egyptian voters. If the Egyptian military couldn't move away from politics, it should form a military party. Otherwise, it should remain at its duty posts. Military did the greatest mistake doing that coup. Then they installed El-baradei(presidental aspirant) as interim Prime minister. It just like doing coup to Goodluck & put Buhari incharge. It just another Egyptian setback or the setback in Egypt. Pharaoh must be angry!
Painful truth; "A year from now, the..youth who celebrated & danced when Morsi was overthrown may well find themselves in the cell next door to the [MB]"

PoliticsRe: Yobe Shuts Schools Over Boko-Haram Attack by babslamin: 10:18pm On Jul 08, 2013
Shutting all the schools in Yobe is like surrendering to terrorists. It's mission accomplished for the attackers. If you cannot protect specific locations, how do you protect over 160million people? Protecting these schools and their students is very possible...
