PoliticsRe: Presidency Rejects Removal Of Immunity Clause by babslamin: 2:39pm On Jul 08, 2013
O'lord give us the strength and spirit of arabian revolutionist to fight all evils in our leadership. Your servants are weeping endlessly.
Weep, dear Nigeria weep. For you breed monsters in abundance. You breed on your soil, those who kill & maim without reason. Weep O' Nigeria.
Weep! For you have no control over your children. Those who do the unthinkable and get away with it. Weep my country.Weep my dear Country, for Nigerian mothers are no longer sure their kids are safe on your surface. Why do you allow this? Weep!
Why have you become so powerless you can't swallow evil doers before their acts! Widows have been created, yet you react not. Weep!
IslamRe: Boy Or Girl Child, Which Is Better? - An Islamic Perspective by babslamin: 2:03pm On Jul 05, 2013
Masha Allah for your post. In islam the most important thing about relationship is to have the righteous spouse and children. Boy or girl are all blessings from Allah. After every prayer i use to recite this prayer to Allah "Our lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous." (Qur'an 25:74)...

PoliticsRe: Kano Airport Before And After Jonathan by babslamin: 11:58am On Jul 05, 2013
REMODELLED KANO AIRPORT IS STILL DORMANT
The multi-billion naira remodelledd terminal of kano international airport is yet to be operational 3months after commissioning as most essential facilities have not been installed. An official with the knowledge of the project disclosed that FAAN and the ministry had been foot-dragging on the Kano airport project for long and "have not displayed the kind of commitment they showed to other similar projects elsewhere." Similar remodelling projects at other airports, including Lagos, Abuja, P harcourt & Enugu have become operational months ago.
PoliticsRe: Reps Recommends Removal Of Immunity Clause For President And Govs by babslamin:
Welcome development, this immunity which specifically covers prosecution for political reasons. At least it might motivate the executhieves to work and distance their illiterates.. parading themselves as First Ladies and Philanthropists; as they give peanut handouts from LOOTED FUNDS. If we can't find any achievement in this new development I pray let the egyptian revolution spirit come to 9ja soonest.

Foreign AffairsRe: Egyptian Army Overthrows President Morsi by babslamin: 11:39pm On Jul 03, 2013
Prof Corruption: lol. I don't like Sharia but I am not against it if that's the will of the majority.
If Morsi ran on the platform of bringing sharia to Egypt and won elections, then opposition had no point. Because the minority is meant to have its say while majority ll have its way.

But for him to run as a moderate and then start implementing conservative agenda? That's not good.
Newsnight remind us that Morsi, for all his sins and flaws, won 13m votes. Wonder what those 13m people make of events tonight. Egypt is full of insanely optimistic protesters who don't think the army will turn around and Bleep them up too when the time comes.
Foreign AffairsRe: Egyptian Army Overthrows President Morsi by babslamin: 11:22pm On Jul 03, 2013

Prof Corruption: I laughed! That's called doctrine of necessity.

1. Egyptians did not vote for a virulent Islamic agenda. That was a simple reason why Al Nour, a more conservative salafist movement did not win majority. It has a poor showing in the elections.

2.The secularists could not match the organisation of Muslim brotherhood and most often are divided.

3.Morsi ran as a moderate muslim willing to put the interests of all Egyptians above a parochial partisan one.

4.In power, he turned a MB stooge willing to implement anything that favors the course of MB to the exclusion of others. He betrayed the trust.

Now think about this: MB is a "secretive" organisation with a front called Freedom and Justice Party. Won't you be concerned if such organisation is growing in powers?
.... seems like Egypt are practicing military democracy
Foreign AffairsRe: Egyptian Army Overthrows President Morsi by babslamin: 11:15pm On Jul 03, 2013
The Egyptians cheering and celebrating this military coup will, I suspect, come to regret their 'my enemy's enemy is my friend' approach..." What happens to next guy who replaces him? If he doesn't fix things in one year, take to the streets and overthrow him?"... No one--repeat, no one--really knows where Egypt is headed at this point..

PoliticsRe: Nigerians Can't Have Free Potable Water- Minister by babslamin: 2:56pm On Jun 19, 2013
I cannot believe that Minister of Water Resources, Sarah Ochekpe, said that it will be impossible to have free potable water in Nigeria. It's impossible to have portable water in Nigeria because we have full time imbeciles whose stock in trade is looting. America is large, there is portable water in every home, yet a minister says its impossible to have the same in Nigeria. Where are they from? We all know the consequences of sinking boreholes but in d absence of portable water what do we do? Urine therapy? Why can't they give hope? How can utilities taken for granted in other nations become impossibilities in Nigeria? Electricity is a Herculean task, water is impossible. As portable water is impossible in Nigeria & boreholes are not good 4 ecological reasons, if we manage urine therapy, how about cooking etc
PoliticsRe: Tukur Will Not Resign As PDP Chairman by babslamin: 12:52pm On Jun 19, 2013
Governor Lamido is responsible for this chaos happening to Tukur presently, he called Wamakko & Amaechi's suspension, a blunder. He faulted Bamanga Tukur for running the party on the basis of illegality. And Lamido is good at exposing things, he was the one that exposes all the northern politician & traditional rulers that collected bribe after the 2011 election, because he was attacked. Jonathan have to take measures by advising Tukur to resign but can Jonathan trust Adamu Muazu as the next chairman of PDP ? Tukur will definately resign.. Tukur/Muazu anyone on sit, all we care is that PDP is at the crossroad

PoliticsRe: Nigeria's Economy Is In Danger - Okonjo-Iweala by babslamin: 11:18am On Jun 14, 2013
One thing that never cease to amaze me is the sheer arrogance and stupid justifications of our "economic team" whenever it is trying to justify why our government need to keep borrowing more and more.
Despite unprecedented oil windfalls, reduced debt service burden and better revenue collections this government still propose to take us back into another debt trap. Now economy is showing the red signal. God help us out.

No doubt MKO was close to General Babangida but was hated in some quarters. One col said it was disgusting seeing MKO patting my C in C at the back. Only Babangida himself could remember how many nights MKO slept in Asso Villa guests house. They were as close as that. Unfortunately for Abiola he chooses to ride on the back of a tiger. Babangida still cares for Abiola believe it or not. He annulled june 12 to safe Abiola & himself from bloody coup which he was good at. Military hates Abiola not IBB
