Seriously though, the PIB should be passed and NNPC be privatised. That's the only solution to these corruption rumours towards every minister of petroleum.
The minister of petroleum under Buhari will also be accused of corruption. It will never end until we liberalise the oil sector.

The oil industry globally is actually one of the most corrupt and we can't shield ourselves from this by having a nationalised oil company like NNPC. The corruption scandal rocking Petrobras is a pointer.

I remember that Obasanjo was President and petroleum minister for so almost eight years. There was kind of corrupt allegation that was not thrown at Obasanjo and the ministry of petroleum. .

Allegations of corruption will never end in Nigeria until we setup proper structures and systems while empowering them with the right people to ensure that they're sustainable.
