Bearing fruit is quite another thing from being redeemed by Christ.

Our Job (works) is to bear fruit after we have believed. May be I should have said the "BASIS of OUR CONTINUOS REDEMPTION " but wether continuos of not redemption na redemption.

James 2

All professions of faith are vain, if not producing[b] love and justice to others[/b]. The necessity of good works to prove the sincerity of faith, which otherwise will be of no more advantage than the faith of devils. He is saying that, just as surely as a dead person does no works, so a faith, a religion, that does not include works is also dead. Thus, a person in whom living, saving faith exists will produce works.

One must also consider Ephesians 2:8, 10, which tell us that salvation is by grace through faith, and that the Father created us for good works, which He prearranged for us to perform.

Therefore, how can a person with a dead faith, one that produces no works, be in God's Kingdom, since he would be failing to do the very thing for which God is creating him in Christ?

I can confidently say that one clear thing that shows one is redeemed is that he is doing the right works in faith. Dead faith is still FAITH.

JUST AS WORKING WITHOUT FAITH IS DEAD SO IS FAITH WITHOUT WORKS. Faith and works are mutually inclusive.

The point I was making is that the Church had missed the WORK ASPECT or our calling.

Our redemption is CONTINUOS.

We dont live in the past we are redeemed every day truely not by our works alone but by the blood of the precious lamb of God. Yet the bible says that we should bring forth fruit that meet for repentance?

1) Housing the poor
2) feeding the poor
3)Clothing the Poor

but we see the local church building big buildings that will be destroyed by fire. the reason why revival has not come to nigeria is that our preachers have Chased after

3) money

I have a read of great men of God as kumuyi, Brother Daniel in south Africa and Mighty men of Valour brother Wilkerson USA of whose bible I am unworthy to carry. I dont worship them no way but they are Holy men of God known to few.

There is nothing intelligent in this book let alone miraculous. Muhammad challenged people to produce a “Surah like it” or find an error therein, yet Muslims would kill anyone who dares to criticize it. In such a climate of hypocrisy and violence truth is the first casualty.

The bible is full of accounts based on human observations. However there is error in human observations in which the bible doest not hide but exposes. We humans are not robots no 2 men can see things from differents angles the same.

I can give you several examples of people looking and seeing things differently both in the old and new testament. There is a saying that seeing is beleiving we all know that is not true. Sometimes Majority of what we see is not true. infact seeing is not beleiving.

The theme of scripture is holiness and righteousness in Jesus. This is the summation of why he came to bring us back to the father so if whatever is said or read has no bringing back virtue then we are in error.

my candid advice to you is to forget one of the books either you

1) put kerosene on the Bible and light matches on it and watch it burn and say you will never read it again
or
2) put Kerosene on The quran and light matches on it and so watch it burn to ashes and say you never read it again

Christ does not need you or anyone to give him condition to serve him as your God. you need Christ instead. There are billions or even zillions that are in hell as we speak weeping and wailing some are more intelligent than we that live to day but will never have the chance to worhsip him.

Make sure you reject him properly so in hell you will have no regrets.

You are absolutely right. This is what makes the USA tick they have a militant few that are ready to die for thier country. That is why a nigerian can live Nigeria and join US special forces and regular army.

But the problem is with intelligence. The fact is that the nigeria Elite dont care what is intelligence. nigeria is very porous and because we have a disjointed comunities that is why we have security issues.

The is no social ownership of Our governments, Roads, Electricity and security. Our Government wants to work in the air with foreign "Investors" whilst there is alot of wealthy men in Nigeria.

The truth is that anyone trying to do good in nigeria could loose his job and life. When we own the Roads the Government Electricity and security we will not have people saying "Na Papa Work"

Already in lagos state we are seeing that People are owning The transport System. The remaining should be Roads, Security, Electricity and Education. The ancient idea that Government must do everything should be thrown in the dust bin of History. The government and the people must work. Government must set targets for the people.

If I were Fashola I would open an account for the money we get from oil and give it back to the ND.

The Lagos state is strong Enough to compete with any Country in Europe. We can do it. The problem can be solved.

We need to demand that the Local government begin to work they have been on Holiday for long. We have to provide the men from the 20 local government areas and train them. They may not handle weapon on patrol but you can train them because you will win the debate.

Let the lagos state government start by training them first and start a Lagos state voluntary police service There is no law against that.

The federal police is very wrong. It is more like a colonial police.
