A French romantic movie.
I usually do not watch romance, much less one about some lesbians. I decided to try something different and it was absolutely worth it.

It had some of the most realistic romance depiction you'll probably find and including a very realistic portrayal of a break-up scene.

The emotional bits hit high and the acting was top notch from such a young cast.

The nûde and sèx scenes were very explicit tho. Gènitals were shown. I'll assume there was a censored version that aired in cinemas?

I absolutely recommend this movie even if you're like me and you don't watch romance movies. It doesn't follow the usual cliches of romance.

Synopsis:
Adele is confused about her sexuality after she breaks up with her boyfriend and gets attracted to a beautiful woman who sports a blue hair.

I’ve been watching all marvel cartoons trailers but I’m still not interested in them but this was really cool stuff to see, something new and different.

This is completely waste of time, the series is childish and has no direction, Episode 1 and 2 was beautiful, making you think it’s worth watching but that’s the end.

Kamala was so emotional and she being the main character was bad idea and The way they treated the other characters was worse. They killed off the coolest heroes in the dumbest ways I’ve seen in ages, Just imagine Thor and the most amazing character “Blade“ in the series with potential gets tossed aside like nothing

Episode 4 is a massive disappointment, the writer thinks that a cliffhanger at the end.

Didn't even bother with the series. Had a feeling it wouldn't be worth my time

First off, brilliant show.

Secondly, fear women. See as Namake couldn't keep it any longer and had to confess to his brother about what has transpired but the so called wife of Ka'iana lock up like say tomorrow nor day. To the extent of gaslighting him , talmabout "You've changed".

Thirdly, love is a dangerous drug. How do you leave your husband and go and check on the welfare of another. I'm talking about Kahanumanu.

The biggest loser in everything is Kamehameha, lost his kingdom, lost his wife to his General.

As for Keoua, werey dey beg Pele when he see death, nor he only Pele, na Maradona.

I enjoyed how Heke took her time with her rapist, experimenting with him on the battle field.

Kahekili has become a complete madman. Was he fiddling with his son's boyfriend? Like What Tha Hell!!!

I feel the second season will be about Kahekili and he will also have purchased guns also and the 3rd season against white men.

Overall, thoroughly enjoyable.

Heke killing her rapist was pure predictable plot armor...

To the point that despite being a Chief of War himself, he abandoned the battle to go and fight a woman. He could have even snapped her neck in a second or broken her legs if he wanted to toy with her...

Watching season 1 and dropping the series is a serious crime and you can be jailed for 6 months

It’s really funny saying is over hyped when the movie this year is making numbers and being the first and second anime movie to hit that milestone b2b for years.

JJK is a low budget anime when compared to Demon slayer anime that is aiming to enter top 10 greatest anime of all time.

Personally, I think JJK is the better show...

It's not about popularity...but JJk was far more mature to me...better power system as well...
I felt more attached to the characters as well...

Why would you even consider starting an episodic show with 20+ seasons?

It's a different thing if it had linear plot

Not some show that could go on forever with different writers coming through it at different points

I dropped it but I want to continue.

My issue with it was that the story kept jumping across different protagonists across different time periods and giving so many different perspectives...

At first it seemed an interesting way to tell the story, but later it got tiring when every character arc or story was left incomplete with no idea when the show wild return to them...

After about 8 different protagonists, I lost interest since I didn't have any reason to care anymore...


But I saw some clips on YouTube about a certain character whose mystery I'm curious about, so I decided I'll continue and binge

Call of the Night season 2 is also one of the best anime airing right now

I tried watching it but dropped it at episode 4.

beautiful animation but I feel like the adaptation was made for donghua readers and not for new fans.

It was very hard to follow and felt like a lore dump rather than a concise story. 4 episodes and I didn't care one bit about any of the characters since the whole thing felt like an RPG video game

I later heard the adaptation was rushed...

Can't say if it got better but the episodes I watched didn't give me hope at all...

Good animation cannot replace concise storytelling...

Abeg, that's overblown. The most the movie can potentially do is $600mn+. Which I'm still in doubt.
These anime movies usually have a massively front-loaded first weekend in America. So, has no legs the following weekends.

But if it releases in China, it will hit 700m+

So apparently the Demon Slayer movie is on track to hit $750m in the box office unless there's a major drop...

Would be insane if it does as that would be higher than even Superman

I followed it up to episode 4 before stopping. There are gay undertones in the show. I typically don't mind but the whole "putting your hand inside me" thing kinda put me off

Yeah that scene was kinda weird. But it's understandable if you look at it from a friendship aspect. Hikaru's body was merely a shell thus there had been no physical contact between them until the scene...

There hasn't been anything of such after that

I know a lot of people who went to watch it in cinemas in Nigeria this weekend. There were even some large watch parties...

Premise:

A traumatized member of an elite para-military police force falls for the sister of a female terrorist courier who died in front of him on duty.


This anime movie was quite confusing at first until major Revelations and plot twists in the second half.

Just watched the Korean live action adaptation of this anime movie.

It's called illang: The Wolf Brigade (2018)

The story was changed and the ending as well. The ending in the anime was much more darker than the movie ending. Backstories were changed as well...

The biggest difference with the ending is the conclusion of the MC's character arc.
Whereas in the anime, his character arc ended with him fully accepting his "wolf nature".
In the movie, the writers went the opposite way with his character dropping the wolf nature and becoming more humane.

I prefer the anime because it ties better to the theme of the Wolf Brigade's "We are not men disguised as mere dogs. We are wolves disguised as men."

I think they both work as their own thing and I enjoyed the live action as well...

But the anime is definitely better.
I'd recommend to watch the anime movie first, then watch the Korean live action movie
