I guess the APC does not fully understand the legal implications of disqualifying Obaseki today based on the alleged disputed certificate issue.It automatically means his governorship in the past 4years has been an illegality.

Can you read what you quoted? Slowly?

Adesina HEADS Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors he heads appoints Ethics Committee Members.

Lawan Heads the Senate, the Senate he heads appoints committee members.

Of course we all know Lawan appoints Committee members... Same with Adesina

Is comprehension this hard? Jesus!

Stop comparing a bank owned by several countries to National Assembly.It's different Oga...

Whether you like it or not, the appointees will be loyal to their member states.It's different when it comes to National Assembly or EFCC.

Can you show where I made such ridiculous claim?

You see, you should always pay attention to comprehension.

The Board of Directors is headed by Adesina. The Committee that probed was appointed by the Board of Directors (Adesina). Now you expect USA or any sane mind to accept their verdict? Lol Can Ibrahim Magu led EFCC indict Buhari for Corruption?

Now, you can't compare EFCC to AFDB....The board of directors were appointed by members states and not an individual. You can just sit somewhere and be making false claims here man.

The Board of Directors is headed by Adesina

The Board of Directors appoints members of Ethics Committee

Meaning, Adesina as Board Chairman appoints members of Ethics Committee.

Now USA Wants the Board of Governors to appoint an independent organization to probe the allegations against Adesina as no sane person can accept position of Ethics Committee appointed by Board of Directors

Adesina didn't appoint board of directors.Stop saying whats not Oga.

The African Development Bank (ADB)
The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (ADB) comprises 20 members who are neither governors nor alternate governors. Thirteen members are elected by the governors of regional countries and seven by the governors of non-regional member countries. Directors are elected for a term of three years renewable once. Each director appoints an alternate, but no alternate, except the United States Alternate, may be of the same nationality as their director.

Secondly the Afdb has its laws that governs the bank. You can't request for actions out the constitution. If the board of governors cleared Adesina, then it was done in accordance with the law.

Please stop misleading people, the information is out there for you to read.Adesina didn't appoint any board. read below;

The Board of Governors is the highest decision-making organ of the Bank, composed of one Governor and one Alternate Governor appointed by each Member Country. Each Governor represents his or her country and exercises a voting power proportionate to the capital subscription of his or her country. Governors and Alternate Governors are generally Ministers of Finance, or Economic Planning, Central Bank Governors, or other high-ranking officials. They serve for a term of five years, subject to termination and reappointment by the member country.

The Governors and Alternate Governors of the Bank are ex officio Governors and Alternate Governors of the African Development Fund.

The Boards (of the Bank and Fund) of Governors holds an Annual Meeting usually in May to review the Bank’s operations, make major policy decisions and provide strategic guidance.

All the powers of the Bank are vested in the Board of Governors although it has delegated some of those powers to the Board of Directors except the power to:

Issue general directives concerning the credit policy of the Bank;
Decrease the authorized capital stock of the Bank;
Establish or accept the administration of Special Funds;
Authorize the conclusion of general arrangements for cooperation with the authorities of African countries which have not yet attained independent status or of general agreements for co-operation with African Governments which have not yet acquired membership of the Bank, as well as of such agreements with other Governments and
with other international organizations;
Elect the President of the Bank, suspend or remove him from office and determine his remuneration and conditions of service;
Determine the remuneration of Directors and their alternates;
Select outside auditors to certify the general balance sheet and the statement of profit and loss of the bank and to select such other experts as may be necessary to examine and report on the general management of the Bank;
Approve, after reviewing the report of the auditors, the general balance sheet and statement of profit and loss of the bank; and
Exercise such other powers as are expressly provided for that Board in the Bank Agreement.

Stop misinformation, pls read supreme court judgement not these peoples opinions, they went as far as obtaining the Nigerian Police copy to verify the authenticity of the results, i can bet his fine tomorrow will be bigger than you think. When coming to court come with facts not what one news paper said or group of people said read facts, I'm not igno and i dont support any of these parties but why was exclusion of some results in the first place? The current Governor marshalled his points to victory not sentiment being pulled here many can vote but if proper documentation is not done it will be tantamount to null and void abinitio.

The Supreme Court cannot review or debate its judgement it was clearly stated in the bayelsa case. The judge said “even if we review this case, if will open more reviews” meaning the case was not reviewed, it was just dismissed as will be ihediohas case. That that are entertaining the case is just to fulfill righteousness

The Supreme Court judgement also stated that the review was dismissed cos the application lacked merit. But imo's own is different,it's about the constitution. Besides I heard d Supreme Court has set aside it's own judgment in d past (1999). Anyway, by dis time tomorrow we go know hwfr.

My Oga, somehow I have respect for you in this forum so I will take time to explain to you where Ihedioha got it wrong and why the Supreme Court justices cannot be blamed for the way the case went.

How is Imo judgement a case of judicial indecision?

Whose responsibility was it to have raised the issues Ihedioha is raising now?...... The supreme court judges or Ihedioha's lawyers?

Was the question of spread and accredited votes brought before them that they didn't rule on it? Of course you know the court is not a father Christmas to give you what you didn't ask for OR are you insinuating that the Supreme Court should have helped Ihedioha's CASE by descending into the arena?

Judgements are delivered based on pleadings and issues joined. This, Justice Kekerekun clearly stated in her judgement.

To prove some of the things Ihedioha is asking for now requires calling of experts witnesses from INEC/others and that cannot happen because it will amount to FULL BLOWN RE LITIGATION.

See Ihedioha's case failed due to lack of diligent prosecution and he cannot correct it now. His lawyers concentrated so much on Uche Nwosu case that they didn't do due diligence to Uzodinma's case.

What is he is asking the Supreme Court to do is not a Review but to re-litigate the matter.

Is like a team asking for a replay match because one of their defenders was sick on the day the main match was played or cancel a match because a particular goal which was accepted was scored from an off side position.

I am not a lawyer but please read this.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2020/02/29/imo-bayelsa-a-case-of-different-facts-disparate-circumstances/amp/

Secondly Ihedioha doesn't need new witnesses. Rather he is only showing the Supreme Court the judicial and constitutional blunders it committed. I haven't seen the judgement but how will an election hv more voters than the total registered voters.

I am disappointed by some comments here. I will refer some of you to punchng.com to reports from the press conference.

Timi is upset because they had filled a petition 3weeks before granting the interview (June 28) and the police grilled them for 6hours. However Fatoyinbo has been invited so why ask them to report to Abuja? Fatoyinbo might be innocent but why the hanky panky been played isn't good. For , the accused is the one to be investigated and not the petitioner .
