The guy that was asked to explain how cricket runs has remain mute oooo, a beg fish am out make him come explain to us. |
BlueStripper:Did you condemn Atiku when he betrayed PDP then by joining APC because he thought he has better chance of ousting GEJ? Did you also castigate him for preventing PDP from zoning their ticket to the south because he also believed Buhari and the northerners will support and give him block vote ahead of Tinubu. Bro, don't be clever by half, we know how things deh roll. |
Celebrityblog:You always find it difficult to believe Nigerian Army. If they don't respond to insecurities you'll complain, if they respond and neutralize armed groups you'll still blame them. What do you even want the Nigerian Army to do cos I don't understand. My point be say don't be in a rush to defend either side cos you don't have full information except hearsay or online news. Why the Army could be complicit in some instances, no be everytime you go deh blame them for things they never commit. |
No one is asking why he was sacked but jumping to conclude on irrelevancies. There is every possibility funds are diverted, unaccounted for or shady deals somehow. There could also be clash of interest between Wike and the IRS boss. |
You hear some news and begin to wonder how these people think. You'll never see them budget money for innovations, improved healthcare or build world class hospitals. You can't separate these people from religion, infact if it is possible, they can spend all their allocation to propagate their religion and keep their people in abject poverty. My question is in what way has religion brought development to their region? |
See how dem punch ADC and its leadership in the face. Some people also claimed that 2023 election was the worse in history but when they were presented with opportunity to prove that they won, they were busy asking that a particular candidate be disqualified. I can't imagine that you have figures from various polling units and wards across the country which is what is needed to prove your case in court but kept insisting on IREV. Was the technical glitch enough to prove that the election was rigged? How about the physical figures from the polling units? |
You will see them blaming government for police brutality but any small thing or dragging online, they will be quick to arrest their fellow citizens using the same police. |
This na internal set up. It's either the land owner know about the kidnapping or some of his boys. Stranger cannot just come from nowhere and plan kidnapping. A stranger cannot have the clue of when the marketers will arrive except with the connivance of somebody who know about them. Most times we blame the government but the citizens are also worse off. |
smileyoo:I wish Nigeria can get a no-nonsense leader that will reset everyone's brain. Madness going on in Nigeria is not only about insurgency, every form of illegality like corruption, tapping of electricity illegally, dumping of refuse on the road, tax evation, not obeying traffic rules are categorized as madness, that is when you will know me and you are also culpable. |
Typing:I guess you never take your time to read the thread before concluding it was in support of this govt. Go and read it and point out where I supported the govt. |
Jashub:Keep your opinion to yourself cos I never insulted anyone when I drafted this thread. It's very easy to counter opinion without resorting to insult which some of you are fond of. |
I'm watching keenly how insecurity is threatening the unity and existence of Nigeria and how the government of the day has not shown any willingness to tame it. Unfortunately I see some people by their comments online calling for military take-over and I ask what difference will it make if the military take over Nigeria? This same military are well funded by the govt and given required support but why are they not winning the war? We have been witnessing insurgency since the time of Goodluck Jonathan and it keeps getting worse. If truly the military institutions are potent, why haven't the military in mali, niger and burkina-faso restore peace in their respective countries? The military governments in these countries are worse-off than the government they toppled. How are we sure military government will make any meaningful thing in Nigeria especially since their past actions have shown the kind of people they are? Unfortunately, the current government appear lukewarm and not ready to fight insurgency. Like someone asked, did Tinubu signed a pact with the northerners not to attack the bandits so as not to loose their support in 2027? How can a govt appear weak and docile and causing global embarrassment to the country? How do you expect peace to reign in your country when bandits are brandishing ammunitions in broad day light even in front of security agents? Where are the attack helicopters? Why are they not put into use or they have embezzled the fund? Is Tinubu benefiting something from this insurgency because his body language seems he's not ready to protect the people. How could people be travelling and they get kidnapped on the way? You need to show that you don't take nonsense and come out with full-force to engage these monsters even if it will cost you your second term? And for those calling for military take over, you have a point but are you ready for the excesses of these guys? Majority of Nigerians are law breakers and those things you're enjoying without being challenged will come back to haunt you. Some of you tap electricity illegally, some of you dump rubbish on the road, some of you spew nonsense on social media, some of you carry and spread fake news in order to attract traffic and get more likes. Just know that most social platforms will be shut down and by then you'll appreciate a democratic dispensation. |
I sometimes imagine the kind of brain some of our youth display online. You cannot because you hate someone or an administration be supporting illegality. So because the land belonged to a former military officer, whether it was acquired illegally or not, Wike should pipe low and leave them. Isn't this same youths clamouring for a better Nigeria? How do you expect the country to get better when the military see themselves as above the law? |
I can't imagine some people supporting someone that made broadcast that security personnel be killed and properties be destroyed in Lagos. When he was boasting and chest beating during his live broadcast, his people from the southeast never cautioned him, they keep saying God bless Nnamdi Kanu, now that judgement has been served, they turned it to ethnic thing by saying Yoruba's jailed Kanu. When he was insulting the yoruba judge, they were also cheering him up, make dem go sokoto maximum prison to let him out, he needs to pay for his sin. I only feel pity for his children and wife. |
Good and elaborate reply. Atiku should go and sit down or he needs to verify information before rushing to the public to say what he has little knowledge of. The collection platform is not monopolized from the analysis. |
Authorities must ensure she spent not less than 5 years in jail to serve as deterrence to others who may be planning to go the same route. Useless people blaming government for every unfortunate incidents whereas they are not different from those in power. You fake your own kidnap thus painting the govt as incompetent( though true) but you must suffer for that false alarm. |
Who come do Tinubu like this? Someone who came with message of hope now hopeless. Even if Opposition is behind insurgency, can't you fish them out and lock them up? No notable difference between you and Buhari administration. Even your supporters will be disappointed in you, you now look like someone who is clueless and not on top of your administration. |
There are different sides to this issue of genocide in Nigeria. 1. The government that has proved incompetent and overwhelmed with the insecurity. If you cannot guarantee safety of the citizens, you have no business governing the country and should resign Asap. 2. Members of opposition party who have also tasted power before and failed completely. They are part of those that wrecked Nigeria financially and so does not have the moral obligation to criticize the government. 3. The security apparatus who have failed to evolve over time and are been overrun by the insurgent. They completely lack intelligence and still rely on gorilla warfare to win battles. 4. Those who are praying that the country should burn because their Messiah lost the 2023 presidential election whereas the Messiah has been tested and proven as failure in governance. 5. The US govt whose inner intention we are yet to know. 6. The masses that are helpless and are already fed up with the present govt |
Imagine, na by force to do rehabilitation for her? Leave her with her life. When you defy all odds to marry underage girl, you should be prepared for the consequences. This lady has your secrets and at the right time will press your neck. Wetin even concern me, both of you should continue to disgrace yourself. |
Omo, the disgrace is too much for a former governor. See the way the guy was shouting on him that he should be let out. I felt pity for Ortom. |
Inability to control his third leg caused him this embarrassment and public ridicule. Men, don't let your third leg takes precedent over your brain. 5 minutes enjoyment can bring reputational damage difficult to amend. |
I'm not in support of either Wike or Yerima. The fact is that the political class and the military are both responsible for the lawlessness in Nigeria as of today. So many impunity from the politicians and the military. Unfortunately, the citizens are taking sides forgetting that they have nothing to gain in this fight. Only God knows acres of land these military guys have conered to themselves without going through appropriate channels and now using their status to forcefully gain ownership. Wike on the other hand also sees himself as a demi-god and his antecedents have made people not to trust him. |
Imagine the rubbish weh deh come out of this one's mouth? As someone said, na only Toto she brought to the table. Imagine marrying someone old enough to born you and you think you go enjoy such marriage. You can't because you have a juvenile brain and you're not ripe enough to adjust to the challenges of a polygamous settings. |
UK is still stucked with manual cars as if their life depends on it when most cars in US and Canada are 80% automatic. |
He made the best choice due to political calculations. If he had chosen a Christian as his vice, he would have lost the election. However, what actually worked in his favour is the liberal nature of the southwest people. They also know Tinubu is not a religious fanatics, hence there is a balance. |
Who is responsible for booking hotel for the National team? Is it FIFA, CAF or NFF? The answer to this will lead us to who to blame? But in all honesty, that place looks like students hostel in higher institutions, very rough and unkept. |
The security agencies should just round those badly trained students up and charge them to court for murder. By the time they spend between 15 to 20 years in jail, they will no longer be useful to themselves and society. |
Ttalk:Would he have spoken in support of US planned interventionif he was still the governor of Bayelsa State? These guys think we are fools. Whenever they are in charge of state allocations, they'll keep mute but let them lose their source of income, they will suddenly turn to defendant of the masses after dem don steal from state funds. |
