Honestly, I found frustration in Atiku's speech. Deep down, he was angered and bittered that Tinubu became President in his first attempt and that is why he resorted to calling him by his first name. Even during Buhari's tenure, did Atiku have the effrontery to call Muhammadu Buhari by his first name? He definitely knows the north will come for him but he thinks he can ride the south anyhow. Also, did he factor that Nigeria's pms will be the cheapest and smuggling of petroleum products will ruin the plan as it will create artificial scarcity and queue at filling stations will start again. Don't you think the gains that have been recorded via the reforms introduced by Tinubu administration will be affected, the macro-economic stability will be affected, ratings from international agencies will be seriously eroded making Nigeria to go back to square one.

Atiku thought he was wise and waited till few months before the election before declaring that he would reinstate subsidy.
