Tinubu sometimes make some decisions you find weird. How on earth will you continue to pardon criminals and those convicted and think the country will get better? What statement is he trying to make or is it because of 2027 elections? We want Nigeria to get better but he's dragging Nigeria backward because of some of his decisions I found awkward. Is he trying to tell the citizens that crime pays cos I don't seems to understand the rationale behind some of these decisions. |
To be honest, Peter Obi may have good intention for Nigeria but I doubt he has the mental strength to rule a complex country as Nigeria. He doesn't have the mind of his own and will easily be tossed around like a flying kite. He will have so many forces to contend with and these forces will prey on his weaknesses. Tinubu is a strong leader who is expected to use the political will advantage he has to reset this country. If Tinubu fail to change Nigeria within 8 years, it is better the military come on board and reset Nigeria. |
owobokiri:So you people now want Deji to provide evidence of the bribery? I thought most Obidients always believe allegations without evidence like in the case of Natasha vs Akpabio where they believed everything said by Natasha was true. Things deh happen for this Naija ooo. |
May be na old video. I wish him quick recovery. Managing the economy of a nation is not a small job oo. It's a mental and physical draining daily activities. |
Cho cho cho, all for content. No go pack shift and retire to your house, who send you for UK. |
You people just deh over hype the Oba of Benin stool. See, if the government remove him today, nothing go happen, all these keyboard warriors will just be yapping nonsense online. As far as the constitution is concerned, the Oba of Benin reports to his local govt chairman and the chairman of the council can even suspend him for any gross misconduct. Pls stop over hyping the office of the Oba. |
How many governors are now left in PDP? I wonder what will be the reaction of Obidients if Alex Otti decides to decamp to APC? |
The Tertiary educational system has not witnessed disruption for the last 2 years since Tinubu came on board however you can imagine how some unfortunate ones are celebrating and urging ASUU to not back down because they just want the govt to fail and fall by all means. ASUU problem never started with Tinubu and all the past presidents before Tinubu had failed in their capacity as president to resolve this. Why was this issue not resolved during Jonathan's 6years in power? You won't see them blame Jonathan but their hatred is directed at Tinubu. Sebi they also have their children in public universities in Nigeria, when their children sit at home for a longer time, dem go know Whatsapp. President Tinubu should as a matter of fact see what can be done to resolve this lingering issue with ASUU so that the prayers of those children of hate who wants his government to fall will not come to pass. |
I doubt Tinubu went through the list presented to him or ask Germaine questions about them. This is the reason why some of his decisions are been questioned by the public. You pardoned the woman that killed her husband, did he carry the husband family along before making such a decision? Sometimes, when people express disappointment with this govt, I don't blame them because you see some decisions and begins to wonder who are those advising the government to take such steps. |
You'll never see them call out governors from their region anytime they embark on demolition of illegal structures but when it comes to Lagos, you see them shouting persecution as of na only their people demolition affected. Why not go through legal and normal process before starting any construction? You bypass the legal and required means and later be shouting witch-hunting, no be juju be that? |
shortgun:Why don't you prove rigging in rivers state in favour of Obi at the presidential election tribunal? Even if you subtract rivers vote from Tinubu total votes, Tinubu is still leading, so what's the fuss everytime on rivers vote. |
Britishcoins:Everything is a zoo to you. Go to UK and see that nothing is free there. You must pay for every public services you enjoy and if you refuse, na to take you to court and you'll bear your own legal cost and that of the utility company that reports you. Most of the tax that people evade in Nigeria can't be evaded in UK. You go even pay monthly council tax and you wonder what service does the council provides for you. |
Curious345:If you're not fooling yourself, those that are fooling you know they are. Btw, when are you going to be healed from 2023 election loss? Can't you move on or your target is that if your Messiah don't have it, no one else should have it. I'm happy to tell you that you're on a long thing and your expectations may not see the light of the day. |
There should always be insurance on every new roads constructed such that when roads are poorly constructed and washed away, insurance companies will pay for damages. |
If you hate a government, it doesn't mean you should not be polite and show professionalism in the course of your duty. People say Umahi and Wike are arrogant, is that how journalist in advanced countries behave when they have guest? What right does Oseni has to have asked a Minister to keep quiet? You have ample opportunity to ask questions from the Minister but the fact that you always want to show that you're in charge, you mess up everything. |
Omo igbo, go to Court and clear your name. If truly you forged your certificate, I'll not be disappointed in you cos anyway na way for that tribe, money na water gang. However, if the court clears you, then you have really done well and singled out yourself from that tribe that doesn't care about name but love committing atrocities like drug trafficking outside the country. |
Honestly I feel ashamed hearing this kind of news. Honestly everything points to the govt as part of those fuelling insecurities in Nigeria. Are they releasing weapons to bandits in order to justify budget increase for security or what game are they trying to play at the expense of human lives? Are some people not justified when they call Nigeria a lawless country? |
McBishop2020:Thank you Jare. You know say anything goes in Nigeria where sentiments takes precedent over legality. Nigeria is a lawless society where the law can easily be manipulated to gain advantage. Make she go try that rubbish for UK, social worker go collect that child from her for child abuse. |
I'm a Christian but some things are better left unsaid. This her utterance could have landed her in jail in advanced countries for giving a dog a poisoned food if investigated. |
Which one is Tinubu's minister? Must you always bring Tinubu's name into it? What happens to the use of ''Science and Technology Minister in certificate scandals''? There are better ways to report issues without being bias. |
One thing that is dragging Nigeria backward is lack of regulations on the part of the govt and failure of people to use common sense. When will Nigerian govt get things right? Most avoidable accidents on the road, rail and on water are as a result of failure to implement safety laws and ensure compliance 100%. It is in Nigeria you'll see people travelling from one state to another and be praying to God for journey mercies. Mercies because of kidnappers, road accident etc. All these accidents hardly occur in advanced countries because regulations are in place and duly enforced. Government in Nigeria is a mess and majority of the citizens also don't value their lives. |
prigoz:So na only Tinubu be your problem? So all the former head of state, current governors, past governors, senators and reps including political office holders are clean abi? Are the civil servants also not complicit in the corruptions in Nigeria. Even, the people in one way or the other are also complicit. Don't we have among the citizens that are bypassing electricity in their homes? |
You don forget say these people don't care about their names getting stained abroad. My only problem is the bad image they give Nigeria. Unfortunately, that region see nothing bad in what there people are doing abroad hence cannot call them out. This is the result of bad parenting and worshiping money at all cost. Imagine if they give them their country, the rate at which they will smuggle drugs will be more than what we are seeing now. |
Validated:Rest Oga, not all issues can be resolved through gragra. Imagine a governor not having the house of assembly by his side and not having support of the presidency , how do you want him to fight and win especially if his hands are also not clean. Fabara that was formerly Accountant General under Wike can't tell me he's corrupt free when it has to do with Rivers state allocations. It's either he resigns or continue to play along until something happens that'll detach him from Wike's claws. |
markidoo:And you think say you don make sense? Are you trying to defend his fraudulent act abi who come do you people like this? When he knew his account is not funded, why issue dud cheque? |
See yeye man. You were poorly serviced and don't have the gut to call out the service provider. How will the service provider sit right and improve on their poor service if you are covering their lapses. If people had assumed Nigerian banks will get better overtime without calling them out, they would not have attained the height they are now through competitive services. |
See them above castigating their country as if it is that easy. Many advanced countries are on that list that also recorded only one medal, so what's the fuss all about. |
Truly, professors and other academic staff are poorly paid and inflation has eroded the value of money, however you will hardly hear these professors most times get research grants from home and abroad which runs into millions of naira. They also get allowances from Tetfund for attending conferences/seminars and they are paid hugely for these. |
Zonefree:Stop beating your chest on what you don't know. While it is true that funds are been transferred to vulnerable people's account, the percentage that actually got it is what we can't verify. I definitely know their party members at the grassroots are part of these vulnerable people and are benefitting from the cash transfers. However, how are we sure vulnerable people who don't belong to their party receive these cash transfers from the govt? |
Brendaniel:If the governor can't secure his state, then what's the need presiding over the state? He can collect allocations but cannot secure his people, no be juju be that? Na Tinubu go come secure his state for him? Can't he also collaborate with the security agencies and fashion out plan on how to stop these banditry and kidnappings in his state? |
Can you see now that most parents are loosing it totally. Is it the government that will impress it upon parents to teach their children morals? In some years to come, I wonder what children will become through the I don't care attitude of most parents. We are loosing our values gradually and it's only a matter of time before it goes spiral. Parent should wake up and imbibe discipline in their children, the world is already turning upside down. |
