Not even GEJ can save keshi this time around

He should have left when the ovation was high

keshi is now clueless, no tactics, no motive, no urgency, no discipline...

He is suffering from dementia or how else can you explain this

From the continents champion to a continental flop

the last time we were beaten in our backyard was over 30+ years,

not until congo defeated us some months back

and the last time southafrica defeated the super eagles was before the apartheid era, still over 30+ years.....

am so mad and angry, we just need to win this match to qualify, just a simple job even Sudan would have carried out perfectly if in our position, I give up

#keshi must go#Not even GEJ can save keshi this time around

Family / 10 Things Women Wish Men Understood by badoist(m): 9:30am On Sep 12, 2013
It is a universal truth that men and women are different and both genders tend to make many mistakes while trying to understand or live with each other's differences.

Well, from a woman's perspective, here are 10 ways to understand her a little better.

1. We know men are low in EQ (Emotional Quotient) but make an effort to understand emotions. But remember we don't like men who can't control their emotions. No woman wants a crybaby for a partner,

2. When we talk, pay attention to what we are saying. Don't just nod your head and continue watching the match on television.

3. Your mother might be great in the kitchen and can whip up gourmet dishes in no time. But sorry we can't go on listening to your running commentary on her remarkable culinary skills.

4. We believe in the power of communication. So, talk, fight but don't just go into 'silent' mode. Leave that mode to your mobile phones.

5 All of us love a dash of chivalry in our partners. So be courteous and show us that you are well brought-up.

6 Don't brag. Showing off really acts against you. Be subtle about your fat pay packet, your swanky car and the likes. That shows us you have class

7. Don't think that you own us. So, behave accordingly. Like men folk, we also like our own space.

8. Romance comes naturally to us. We love it when a man expresses his love. So, please show us that you love. Say it through flowers, dinners, gifts and of course count surprises as an important element of our DNA. Understand these basic points and act accordingly.

9. Don't try to give us lessons on moral science. And for heaven's sake don't comment on a low-neckline dress. That's a very cheap thing to do.

10. Don't crack jokes on our family members, close friends. Show your great sense of humour with a touch of sensibility.
Politics / Policewomen Caught Extorting Money Dismissed by badoist(m): 9:53pm On Sep 11, 2013
Two traffic policewomen catch in a video  receiving  N100 bribe from a bus driver in Lagos State have been dismissed from the Nigerian Police Force.

The women corporals Elizabeth Itolor  and Jenifer Azingbe, attached to the Makinde police station, were handed their dismissal letters today.

The corporals’ dismissal was contained in a  circular  which stated that the policewomen were dismissed over despicable acts and corrupt practices contrary to Paragraph E(iii)and C(iii)respectively of Schedule 1 of the Police Act and Regulations 370 of the Federation of Nigeria 1990.

The policewomen were recruited into the Nigeria Police Force in 2004.

A source, who requested anonymity, informed the Nigerian Telegraph that the women got to the office today and they were handed their dismissal letters.

“They have been crying since morning. They have gone to Keyamo chambers and other human rights offices to seek for help. The dismissal has come as a shock,” the source said.

The policewomen have been awaiting  their fate since the police Provost Unit of the Lagos State police command had concluded the Orderly room trial into the allegation last week.

A video footage posted on YouTube by one Afro Finlandia showed a policewoman negotiating a  N100 bribe with a commercial bus driver at the Oshodi-Apapa Express way.

A passenger in the bus recorded the bribe negotiation showing the driver pacifying  the policewoman who had refused to allow the bus move after loading passengers .

The driver, after much pleading, angrily said , “Don’t abuse me because of N100. How much is N100? Me I don pass N100.”

The policewoman, who was sitting in the bus was adamant as she said, “E no concern me. Pay me my own money”.

The driver was seen telling the conductor to settle the policewoman so they could move.

“Give her N100. I will return it to you later,” the driver said in Yoruba.

The policewoman came down from the bus as she collected the N100 from the conductor  and the two policewomen walked away from the bus to their duty of controlling traffic.

The video had over 40,000 viewers and caused public outrage on social media, which led to the arrest of the women last week.

The policewomen suffered similar fate as their colleague one sergeant Christopher Omoleze, attached to the station Man Centre police station, who was also outed in a video posted on Youtube. He had negotiated a N25,000 bribe.

Politics / Jonathan’s Meeting With Aggrieved Governors Fruitful — Presidency by badoist(m): 7:11pm On Sep 11, 2013

Presidency says PDP crisis is about being resolved given the fruitful meeting with splinter governors.

The political adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan has stated that the crisis in the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, would soon be resolved.Ahmed Gulak, the Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, stated this on Wednesday while reacting to a meeting held lateon Tuesday between President Goodluck Jonathan and members of the two factions of the PDP.Those at the meeting included Governors Sule Lamido of Jigawa,  Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto, Babangida Aliyu of Niger, and Murtala Nyako of Adamawa from the PDP faction led by Abubakar Baraje. Those in attendance from the Bamanga Tukur-led PDP were Governors Liyel Imoke of Cross River and Ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe. The meeting lasted till 3a.m. on Wednesday morning, PREMIUM TIMES learnt. Speaking to journalists at the State House, Abuja, on the outcome of the meeting, Mr. Gulak said the meeting was a success. “What we are saying is that the elders are talking. We are talking in accordance with the law of the land and of the party. So we are on peace course. Both parties are being made to understand what are involved; the party constitution, the Nigerian constitution and other issues that are concerned. “About the last night meeting, everybody was happy. Further meetings are expected,” he said. Mr. Gulak said the crisis being experienced by the ruling party was not unexpected as the PDP was the ‘biggest party in Africa’ and ‘the only national party in Nigeria.’ “Everybody wants to belong to PDP and once you have various shades of opinions, that is why in a party like this, we are bound to disagree to agree,” he said. The presidential aide said he was sure the crisis would be resolved. “We have the internal mechanisms to sort out ourselves. I’m assuring you that this so-called crisis would be a thing of the past. We are on peace course, we are discussing some of the demands that you media men are speculating are unconstitutional. “These demands would not in accordance with the laws of the federal republic of Nigeria and certain demands would not be in accordance with the party’s constitution” he said. “What we are saying is that the elders are talking. We are talking in accordance with the law of the land and of the party. So we are on peace course,” he added. A source at the presidency claimed that the splinter PDP governors’ demands include that President Jonathan either withdraws from the 2015 presidential race or drop Vice President Namadi Sambo as his running mate; and in his stead, take one of them, possibly Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido, as his running mate in the 2015 election. They also reportedly demanded the recognition of Rivers Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, as the true Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum.

Shocking and weird
Family / 74-year-old Man Set To Marry Goat He Is In Love With by badoist(m): 4:57pm On Sep 09, 2013
Aparecido Castaldo, a retired stone cutter from Jundiai, Brazil has decided to marry his beloved Carmella, a goat. Because no Christian minister would agree to perform the marriage ceremony, the two will be wed by a known satanic leader, in the Church of the Devil.

The happy couple will walk, or trot, down the aisle on October 13 in Igreja do Diabo, or Devil's Church, in the city of Jundiai, Brazil.

74-year old Aparecido has been in love with the pet for two years and says a goat has advantages over a human companion.

'She doesn't speak and doesn't want money,' says the father of eight children - four women and four men from four different marriages.

The ceremony is scheduled for midnight and will be followed by a big party on All Souls' Day the following day.

Carmelita ate her first wedding dress but has been found another, said Aparecido.

'Whenever someone says I am doing something wrong I reply the goat does not speak, ask for money to go shopping and doesn't get pregnant - and she can't talk.'

The ceremony will be conducted by a bishop who said the pair will not be consummating the marriage.

'This is not the first goat he has, because he likes animals. He just needs a companion. There will be no intercourse between the two.'
