@ all, I think it pays to pour out ones mind which i have just done since all users on this thread are Nigerians. To some extent i will agree to an extent to a comment saying some people are lazy to source for information themselves and only rely to the little piece of info on this thread. However, I just felt like im the odd one out talking about undergraduate admissions here. But to my utmost surprise i have received a couple of emails asking of detailed info about undergraduate studies which invariably means there are ghost observers here. Well, here is my own take, any potential undergraduate applicants should also be an active user dropping useful info on this thread rather than being a ghost observer.Additonally, pls dont let this thread be one sided and as for me BALDLARRY,I have been an active users with useful comments . So my fellow undegraduate applicants who have received an offer of admission should let themselves be known here. As for baldlarry,I have received an offer of admission to study Business Information technology @ Lapland UAS ,I did my entrance examinations in both Germany and Holland cuz i got 2 different invitation lettesr from Laurea and Lapland. But Im filing in my appliccation from Nigeria cuz of bank statement palava which made them refused me in 2009 and its here i got what i can present relating to bank account wahala.......To those who have been granted RP,congratulations and hope to seeing u guys in Finnishland Ins Sha Allaah .

And that is not fair enough and being impartial
Travel / Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by baldlarry(m): 8:54am On Jul 24, 2015
i can see no one cares about undergraduate studies here except for only masters. And i think that is not fair enough. Maybe im the only one here who applied for undergraduate.
Travel / Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by baldlarry(m): 9:58pm On Jul 22, 2015
I think this thread is basically for prospective masters student and not for undergraduate. Most information on this thread aint for undergraduate at all. Are there any prospective undergraduates here? Pls holla a big Ciao !!!

Let the money be in your account.Finland does not allow sponsor account. The money has to be and remain in your account for the period of processing your permit.

Thanks for the piece of information. Can i book for appointment before filing the application online? I want to apply from here because i dont have any bank statement to present with such required amount in Italy. However, its gonna cost me more if i decide to initiate a wire transfer from Nigeria to Italy. Lastly,do i necessarily need to fill the form OLE or all forms filling are done online? If yes,pls share the link here to print out the form. I already sent email to the embassy to book appointment.
Thanks

For Finland undergraduate program, the application opens jan- Feb every year and applicants from Nigeria living in Nigeria are not eligible. I applied because i live in Italy and entrance exam was held across Europe.

Pls help me because i am at confused, I have been accepted to study Business Information Technology at Lapland University Of Applied Sciences. I am contemplating of where to file in my application either from Nigeria or Italy. If its Nigeria,I have all it takes but am skeptical of the chances of getting a positive decision from the embassy since application and exams were all done abroad. If its Italy,I have all but no bank statement to present and filing from Europe might / will give me an edge and also speed up the treatment of application. A friend of mine suggests i go back to Italy with my Nigerian bank statement and attach all other documents then file in from Italy.
Thanks as you read !

To all my Fellow Nigerians back home, I have got friends with Bsc and Msc in Finland who are still washing dishes in restaurants but are doing very fine compared to people with white collar jobs in 9ja. I have been there severally and i know what am talking about. The most important thing is to get into the system and surely will blend with time. There are jobs in Finland mainly in the Helsinki region which is the capital but not white collar jobs..As for the language,it is very difficult to comprehend compared to Italian that I speak that is why it is said that within 4 years if you are proficient in Finnish and meet up with other requirements you are entitled to apply for Finnish citizenship. Language and the weather should not be a pretext not reaching your destination....Ci vediamo presto in Finland ( See you soon in Finland) !!!

Norway is good but the problem with Norway is that you will need to transfer money meant for self funding which wil amount to 8M to the institution and an account would be open for you on your arrival to the school. This is the only way to secure Norway student visa
