I bought lubegard “instant shudder fix” poured into the transmission and After a little drive the shudder went away.

I’ve resolved the issue with “ Lubegard instant shudder fixx”

Just bought it today, poured in and drove a bit and the shudder is gone. Let’s see how long it lasts.

It's a transmission issue, I can't tell if it's a torque converter issue or not. By the way, 2006 XV30/40 does not have a dedicated O/D switch if it's a 5sp auto. Or is there something I'm missing?

My suspicion is a faulty torque converter for the following reasons:
1. If I turn off Over Drive, limiting the transmission to 4 gears it never vibrates.
2. I’ve dropped the pan, cleaned and actually flushed the transmission fluid with T-IV. And it made no difference; so I know it’s not a fluid issue.
3. My tires are new and balanced
4. Car runs smoothly at same speed it usually vibrates when I turn off OD.
5. My engine mounts and shafts are tight with no clucks when I engage drive or reverse.

Like I said earlier, there are standard rebuild kits in the market - for valve body and the gears themselves, even though most Rebuilder only concentrate on the soft parts for the gears. You can go ahead and install these kits as they come but, there could be some problems beyond these kits. This has played out today. I vacuum tested all known diagnostic ports in my valve body and found that all shift valves checked out. Some ports that returned poor vacuum pull at the plugs are covered by the rebuild kit. However, the most important, and busiest valves returned very poor vacuum pulls

These are the primary and secondary pressure regulator valves. Below is an excellent pull from a healthy port. His is how the ports come from factory, even though I think this is extreme, and could starve the valve of lube.

The is no fault codes stored on the transmission; car is in perfect condition but for the vibrations, gear selection is good no slipping.
