BUHARI is going to take productive loans and, not non-productive loan that pdp has taken in the last 16 years. The difference between BUHARI' borrowing and that of pdp/gej is: BUHARI is going to borrow to invest in agriculture , solid mineral sector, etc, while pdp borrowed to fill private pockets, hence their failure to show anything commensurate of their (pdp) borrowing over time. Again, we are very sure there will be 80% implementation as regards the budget and, a kobo won't be taken by anyone. |
He owes no thug an explanation! |
Presidency To Spend N114m, Not N1.7b, On Feeding In 2016 – Document Contrary to reports in some quarters that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government earmarked the sum of N1.7 billion for feeding in the Presidential Villa, a copy of the relevant section of the 2016 Appropriation Bill obtained by The Herald showed that only about N114.97 million was earmarked. Recall that rumour had pervaded the media space, especially the social media, that Buhari planned to surpass the amount spent by the Goodluck Jonathan’s administration as many as four times. A comparative analysis of the last administration’s total expenditure on “feeding” which included items like Food Stuff / Catering Materials Supplies, Cooking Gas/Fuel Cost, Refreshment & Meals, and Purchase Of canteen / Kitchen Equipment, in the last two years showed it allocated more funds than the new administration. While the 2014 figure showed N542.86 million and the 2015 N526.17 million under former President Jonathan, the 2016 under Buhari is slightly lower, at N445.49 million. http://www.theheraldng.com/presidency-to-spend-n114m-not-n1-7b-on-feeding-in-2016-document/?utm_source=&utm_medium=twitter

The Federal Government on Monday revealed that the transmitters used in broadcasting messages from Radio Biafra, were installed on the masts of telecommunication company, MTN in Enugu and Anambra State. It further stated that the installation of the transmitters on the telecommunications company’s masts was done so as messages of Radio Biafra will enjoy a wider coverage. This was contained in the case summary of fresh six count-charges the government instituted against the Director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, and two others, before the Federal High Court in Abuja. In the case summary signed by Mohammed Diri, the Federal Director of Public Prosecutions accused one of the defendants, David Nwawuisi, who is a field maintenance engineer of being responsible for maintaining the MTN masts in Enugu State. The other defendant, Benjamin Madubugwu, was alleged to have received a container full of transmitters from the embattled Director. Diri also alleged that Nwawuisi installed the transmitters on MTN masts “on request by a member of Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB, Chidibere Onwudiwe.” He said, “The 3rd defendant, Nwawuisi, a Field Maintenance Engineer, charged with the responsibility of maintaining MTN masts in Enugu State, was also arrested in the course of the investigation.” “He agreed, on the request of an IPOB member, who is at large, Chidebere Onwudiwe, to install and did install IPOB radio transmitters on MTN masts for a consideration.” The prosecution stated that the transmitters which were smuggled into the country by Kanu, were discovered during a search of Madubugwu’s residence, adding that they are believed to have been installed on the MTN masts between April and May 2015. Kanu is currently standing trial for charges on treasonable felony, as a result of propaganda spread through the pirate radio station. http://dailypost.ng/2015/12/29/how-radio-biafra-allegedly-installed-transmitters-on-mtn-masts-to-broadcast-its-messages/?utm_source=&utm_medium=twitter

Nonetheless, in the light of PMB’s exemplary integrity rating, it is unlikely that he deliberately set out to deceive Nigerians, when he promised to “ensure that the Naira was equal to the dollar in value if he was voted into office”. Instructively, however, so long as the market dynamics of eternally surplus Naira and auctions of dollar rations subsists, it would be hopeless to expect that the Naira slide will be reversed .http://www.theheraldng.com/how-buhari-can-achieve-n1-to-1/?utm_source=&utm_medium=twitter |
