All these international organizations and their lust for unverified statistics. It still baffles me on how they drew their conclusion based on survey tracking, with the mention of Katsina as probable case study.

65 million is really on the high side and it's indeed scary... Hungerbad and Balloski, the wailers you're referring to are not stark illiterates, some, though not all are educated but not enlightened. A case study of a chief wailer accusing the opposition for chasing him from Facebook, whereas he was only asked by Facebook to verify his account undecided
you took it out of my mouth. I almost mentioned his name when I saw the report. The guy is an euhedral illiterate.

I first said to myself, there is no way UNESCO can be right on this.

And then i logged on to Nairaland, and started reading all the write ups of Wailers, and i am like, you know what UNESCO?you might just be right on this one.
wailers have chronic amnesia and agnosia, their problem is beyond illiteracy.

For the first time in my life , I watched the independent day celebrations with pride and excitement. I couldn't believe I found reasons to forgive our past leaders, including gej , and even more reasons to believe Nigeria is gonna be great again.

I'm honored to be born , alive and living in a Nigeria that's governed by BUHARI.

Talking about the bold part of your comment, agreed, but then I submit, though stand to be corrected, the invasion of Iraq in 2003, was for selfish reasons. Even though the original article stated otherwise, one still wonders why their claim for invading Iraq in the first place has not been backed up by evidence all this while. Cheney left more to be desired bro! These people have evil minds.
this article is out to paint Cheney like the devil that he is. I have read a memo on him, I bet you, if u read, you won't see Cheney less than a devil.

And being on the list doesn't mean the person is automatically a minister.
Senate can still reject the person
rejected by who? You know all the Apc senators will go for Amaechi, so having the 'nays' from the disgruntled pdp elements won't hold sway.

I am not living in any bubble. Unlike you I dont see things black and white. I follow your post most times and you seem to think US is the enemy and Russia is a saint. The point is every nation state have interests and most times they dont align.

You will be totally wrong if you think Russia is intervening because it is "good " Syria is just another pawn on the geo political chess board for Russia and the interesting part is now that Russia is involved militarily, I dont see how Assad will get them out should they succeed.

For both sides, ISIS is an opportunist and defending or supporting Assad plays a larger role in their geopolitical strategy.
give one reason, or with a well annotated diagram, if any, why America shouldn't be seen ss the devils.

The events of 9/11 was what gave the Iraq war a favourable Amrican public opinion that Bush/Sheney could not resist.
Obama mismanaged the war by pulling out too early. His support for opposition against Syria's Assad is what led to the creation and bolstering of the dreaded ISIS.
Sometimes i wonder how a naiive community organizer with no experience in governance and no foreign policy credentials other than being a "superstar" could be made president of a strategic country like the US.
Obama used his oratory prowess or rhetorical or eloquent language to mask his weakness- that's what Americans wanted at that time and they got it.

How on earth can anyone contemplate arming a rebel group against a constituted authority or government? This gave birth to a more daring and monstrous group like ISIL.

Yeah, America is strategic, but very strategic in their mistakes.

I would like to follow this thread, and it is simply to see the number of our so called youths that will make meaningful comments. In fact, I'll be disappointed if they actually do make any comment at all, meaningful or not, since this isn't a thread to throw tantrums at one another about how bad our politicians are.

I guess they can even hardly be patient to read the whole lot talk less of understanding it.

By the way, most of this online noise makers were hardly around when the event being described here took place, so they can't really relate with it- particularly the US-Iraq war of 1994. I was in SSS1 then, and was well alive to what was going on around me. But I most confess that I never heard about Cheney way back then in 1994, not until 2003.
if you read about how Cheney grew influence via romsfed, you'd agree that Cheney is indeed the most powerful VP the world produced. Cheney grew from rank to rank, so it was easy for him to manipulate things around government. He practically called the shot.

Don't mind those kids and Americans wannabe, most of them don't even know who Cheney is not to even think of knowing what he said in 1994.

Wasn't D1ck Cheney part of the folks who took down Saddam Iraq?

So, what the hell is he saying? - act first and think later, classic US Foreign Policy.

He has lost his darn mind. undecided
he said the part in bold far back in 1994. So the article is about telling the grand plan they have in place to successively destroy Iraq and Syria for now, then Lebanon and this will be followed by the destruction of Iran.

The laid down plan for Libya , Sudan, Egypt , Somalia , Nigeria(maybe part of the plan too) etc , is paying off.
