Jackobite: thanks bro it an error there it 4910,but doing trial an error had change all my cable now and there is this test channel on nilesat whenever the channel is pick to watch the decoder will hang or go blank.although for the past 3hrs now after deleted those {TEST&12033} ch it working well.i will keep the house updates if it malfunction again.thanks all,@ibaku pls mail me jackobite02@yahoo.com for little info

Hi Jackobite! Your 4910 problem is a well known one. Go to www.strong-technologies.com and write to Technical Support. If you have a genuine decoder,they will assist you in isolating and sorting out the decoder issue.

1).If I understand very well, I've to go for off-set dish when running away from ground noise.
2).No I'm not looking for birds away from CLARKE'S BELT. I was instead talking (looking ) for BIRDS that are seen when the dish elevation is the highest-Hence away from ground noise-. For example, Eutelsat 7A@ 7°E has almost the highest elevation from my town and Nile sat has a fairly high elevation too.
3).I guess that you have compiled so much informations and experiments on parabolics antenna.

I'm fairly goo in mathematics.

I'll ask other questions as soon as possible.

Please, if I want to kill only birds at the top of clark belt, can I choise a big F/D ratio (0.6 or more) when manifaturing my dish?

For my dish will not point at a bird close to the ground hence -I think- less ground noise interférence and better illumination by the bird.

Hi all,
After tweaking my lnb yesterday evening,my signal strength shot up from 50% to 57%.I achieved this by pushing the lnb inside towards the dish a bit further and placing it halfway between 3'oclock and 6'oclock (using my previous post and image as a guide).This in turn has increased the number of channels from 111 to 172.I still don't have the MBC package though but have been advised to change the lnb and see what might pop up.One thing i've noticed is that,the signals are very very strong in the mornings and bad in the evenings.It is also the most unstable group of satellites i've come across(Nilesat 101,102,201 and Atlantic bird 4A).The channels can appear and disappear at any time just like that.Still it's a very exciting satellite to be on.

My big thanks goes to all who have supported me through all this time.From Cogil,Kungu,Patmos,Gkogolah,Sathob,Salamander,Fres h P,Katiklo,Iron 2011,kalemiresula,Fta.hunter,Ibaku,Bamboutos,the great KOKO and INNESAT91.I couldn't have asked for a much welcoming satellite family.

@gruka,@all. Beware of fake 4669X on the market. The fake 4669X is in fact some kind of 4663X in the box of 4669X(not sure it is even a genuine 4663X). Always check the system information or go to a Mytv or Strong official dealer. More often, the fake 4669X tends to be very cheap
