laoludavid:
There're different reasons why people add to or reduce their age, it all depends on the situation at hand. There're some peole that will change their attitude towards you if they know your real age and they'll use it to react to you, let me use my self as an example when i was in college of education i found it difficult to tell people my real age(especially ladies) because the way they see me it was like we're age mate but in the real sense we're nt, majority of them even respect me beyond my imagination so whenever the issue of age comes in i always keep mute to so as not to lose the respect they have for me(cos i bliv if they know my real age they'll be suprise).
Yeah especially in this part of this world, the younger ones in age tend to get little less respect smiley so when the age thing comes up, I just become passive.
Family › Re: What's So Special About Your Age That You Hide It? by Bamz(m): 11:44pm On Nov 22, 2014
Atimes I think age just ruins somethings, okay it's good been truthful and all. There's this chick I like smiley, and she's older than me but she doesn't even know, and I'm pretty sure if the age thing comes in, she might be having misgivings if at all I'm ready for her. So basically I think it's vital that we're truthful with others and particularly ourselves.

shadrach77:
my two cents - when a lady says "let's just be friends" it's one of three things; (a) she is not interested and doesn't want to hurt you by saying 'no' so she is trying to let you off by being diplomatic (b) she needs you around her to act as a shield to ward off other guys (c)she needs you around her to act as a bait in attracting another suitor which she is eyeing - now in the last two scenarios, she is indirectly using you. Whenever i find myself in such situation, i'll just ignore her "friendship" and seek greener pasture elsewhere cheesy cheesy cheesy wink smiley smiley
Sounds like someone that does random dates. LOL

I gave an instruction via mail to Access Bank yesterday, unfortunately for me I didn't specify that I wanted to take part in the primary auction and they had to invest for me from their holdings. About 9.2% p.a. or so for 86 days.

qoonlay: you are here

i surrender

with all i am.

especially the third, really inspiring.
Seems you've been following HSU pretty much earlier than I did. 'With all I am' is from a 2004 album. That's a proper worship song.

Paroman: I'm not a christian but I'm a big fan of Hillsong United. My top 3 tracks of theirs are:

1) With Everything

2) Oceans (where feet may fail)

3) Mighty to save
Nice list. Mighty to save is one classic. Easy to sing too.
Music/Radio › Your 3 Favourite Hillsong Tracks by Bamz(op): 7:48am On Aug 21, 2014
The Hillsong United band is a worship band that originated as a part of Hillsong Church. The band tours the world, performing at the various Hillsong church locations as well as general concert venues. They compose the songs for their own performances and for the other Hillsong Church worship teams that perform at weekly services. Subsidiary bands perform monthly in London and at summer camps sponsored by Hillsong.

Genres: Worship music, contemporary Christian, Christian Rock

Their song "Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)" hit number one on the American Billboard Christian Songs chart at the end of 2013.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My favourite songs at the moment:

Love is War (Zion 2013)
Heaven and Earth (No Other Name 2014)
With everything (Live in Miami 2012)

Hillsong rocks!

(Matthew 18:3) "Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you shall not enter the kingdom of heaven."

Children are usually born into a perverse world. They only inherit physical attributes from their parents.

NB. Jesus said we must become converted and like little children. He would not tell us to do this if children were truly born totally depraved of grace. If they were born as totally depraved that would mean that there is nothing in them that is not depraved and therefore we should not become like children in any sense. But Jesus said there was something in children that we need to take as our example (their humility). This passage shows that children are not born totally depraved.

..From a Christian's POV.

Family › Re: Your Thoughts by Bamz(m): 6:10pm On Aug 20, 2014
softsparkyy: Everyone was born good, but as we are growing up we get influenced by the society or the environment around us. Things we see and do everyday changed us from good to evil.
Some people are just not as lucky as others. They were born in a bad neighborhood. Fights and bad things are happening all the time; any child growing up in that environment will most likely to become bad. The child may think it is natural to do bad things to survive.

If we were to be kept away from the evil thoughts, then we should be able to stay good forever. One must have a good self discipline to control itself not to do bad.
Really deep one ... from my Nairaland crush embarassed

I really don't know how responsive GT Bank is to the Tbills thing. I was at a branch and gave my instructions towards the next auction which from all indications is bound for today and I was told the instruction will have to be sent to my original branch.

So far, I've not heard anything.
For those with Tbills experience using GT Bank,
Do I have to go to my original branch to be able fast-track things?
