*CENTRAL THOUGHT*
� Deliberate preparation can provoke angelic visitation

� *INTRODUCTION*
Nothings happens by chance Your expectation would determine the steps you take toward its actualization. What you do will determine the experience you will have. Deliberate action and
have to be taken in order to attract or provoke angelic encounter. Today, we shall be made to understand what we need to do in preparation for angelic encounter.

➖➖➖➖ *OUTLINES*➖➖➖➖

� *_Commitment that Provoke Angelic Encounters_*

*(1) The Fear Of The LORD [Psalm 34:7]:* The fear of the Lord is a secret to angelic visitation. Anyone that respects and honour God, is entitled to angelic presence and visitation.
*(2) Life in the Spirit [Daniel 10:12]:* The angel told Daniel that as soon as he began to pray his voice was heard. As the result of that, God sent him to deliver Daniel's answer.

*(3) Total Submission:* Daniel's humility was recognized by the angel that came to visit him. The angel said".. .and to humble thyself before the Lord, thy voice was heard" [Daniel 10:12)

*(4) Deep Intimacy with God [Exodus 15:11]:* Praise and worship provokes the presence of God around us. God inhabits the praises of His people. When you sing praises and worship God with your spirit, then you can attract angelic encounter

*(5) Hunger for Angelic Encounter:* Your strong desire for angelic encounter can make it happen. In Judges 13, Manoah desired that God sends his angel the second time to him to confirm the information given to his wife concerning the birth of Samson. In verse 9,God sent the angel again to him.

*(6) Seeds, Offering and Sacrificial Giving [Gen 18:1-2]:*Sowing into the life of your prophet or God's work will provoke angelic visitation. Abraham convinced the angels to stop-over at his home, he gave them water and food. After they had eaten, they asked him where is your wife Sarah? And prophecy about Isaac was given.

❓ *QUESTION:*
In what ways can one provoke angelic encounter?

� *CONCLUSION:*
Doing nothing and expecting miracles is wasting time without knowing. Anyone who wants to experience angelic encounter will have to take the right steps in preparation for it.

From our text, you understand that no man can fight a battle alone. We need each other to overcome the battles of our individual lives. You need people to join hands with you to possess that land God has promised you. To be a Christian is to belong to the family of Christ. We are brethren and the Bible in 1 Peter 3:8 says, *"Finally, be ye all of one mind,having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous."*
Can we vehemently say that these scripture is true today in the Christendom, when there is so much slander, envy, backbiting, conspiracy against one another? One Christian is happy at the downfall of another. Each person wants to prove he is better than the other therefore disagreeing with whatever the other has said. Unity in the Christendom today is bygone. We are to come together to fight for one another until each one of us gains victory. Until God has given your brother a breakthrough, only then are you permitted to return and enjoy your breakthrough. *Your brother's battle is your battle.*
*May God give you understanding.*

" _And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born."_

Herod is a strongman but no man is an Island just as a single tree can never make a forest no matter how big the tree may be. The point here is though Herod be the strongman, though Herod be the king, he cannot do anything until the chief priests and the scribes of the people to get information. Herod depends on the chief priests and scribes of the people to get information about you. It is these set of people that about the prophecy of your life; without them, Herod is only a toothless bull dog. These set of people have certain vital information about your life and destiny; they know what is written by God concerning you.
Scripture says... the chief priests and the scribes of the people...
Take note of the phrase *'of the people'.* These people are not strangers they are amongst you, they know you, they keep
records of your lineage. Herod did not just gather chief priest
and scribes but those of the people. Matthew 10:36 says
*"A man's foes shall be they of his own household".*
_If those within do not market you, no one without will price you._

" _whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God."_

Friendship with the world is enmity with God. The Bible is clear about it, you cannot be a friend of the world and also be a friend of God. Friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God and friendship makes you an enemy of the world. There is no sitting on the fence nor is there a meeting point between the world and God, you are on a side per time.
Some Christians have actually lost friendship with God and are now friends with the world without even knowing it. Some can never be on fire for God because they are so busy thinking of what people will say, they care more about man's opinion of them than what God says about them.
A lot of Christians have become enemies of God because of a little shift saying it doesn't matter.
2Cor. 6:15 says, *"And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?"*
If it is not about God, it is not of God, you have no business with it. Your stand for God should be made clear. Situations and circumstances should not define your relationship with God. *Worldly songs that does not glorify God and edify you should not find its way into your life, how much more becoming your ringing tune.* Ponder on this question:

Anything Jesus did is an example for us to emulate.
If Jesus did it, then it is important to thank God. You may be saying, what is the reason to thank God for?
Number one and most important reason is that you are alive. Only a living person can look forward to healing, job, victory, house, car etc. If you wait for something to happen before you thank God, nothing will happen because you have already displayed how ungrateful you are which stands as a yardstick that you are not fit to receive that which you are expecting because you will
still not appreciate it. Anything you thank God for increases, anything you complain about hurts you. Thanksgiving is a command; Philippians 4:6 Thanksgiving is obedience to God's word. It makes your prayer complete.
Learn to thank God for what He has done, thank Him for the outstanding things, thank Him for regular things He does and thank Him in advance for your expectations.

_"[1] Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! [3] As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life forevermore"._

Why the strife and contention? Why the envy and jealousy? These attitudes are satanic; such should not be mentioned among the children of God, among those dwelling in Mount Zion. God's counsel for His own is to dwell together in unity, He says, *"Follow peace with all men and Holiness without which no man can see the Lord" Heb. 12:14.*
God wants you to even follow peace with 'all men' , He wants your peaceful and loving conducts to reveal Christ and win souls even to Him. Among brethren, His desire is to see them dwell in unity.
❓Right now, what is the state of your dwelling in your service unit in the church at large?
❓Are you always known to generate issues that cause arguments? Or
❓Are you known for Peace?
❓Do you love causing troubles, rejoices in making someone sad, happy at calamities and you think it is to your advantage?
Hear the word of God, *"... he that is glad at calamities shall not be unpunished." Proverbs 17:5.*
If you don't want to come under the weight of God's punishment, put off unchrist-like attitude.

" Promotion does not come by manipulation but by divine
instructions". If you ever locate the switch of the miraculous, it will be a daily happening in your life. Men that are tired of their situations in life and are ready to change it, must provoke it to happen. I won't let you go', Jacob replied 'unless you bless me[Genesis 32:26].
The mother of Jesus provoked the miraculous to happen in that marriage ceremony. Don't forget that nothing just happens in the life of anybody, until there is a provocative action or reaction. Provoking is giving rise to the specified action. Positive provocation gives birth to the miraculous. Be tired of where you are right now and boldly take your life into your hands. Jephthah said, 'when I saw that you wouldn't help, I took my life in my hands'... He took his life [destiny] in his own hands and that brought about his deliverance [Judges 12]. What miracle do you need in life, as you are reading this devotion? Be determined to do the instruction God has instructed you to do because if you do,
you will experience the miraculous. There is always what God require of you to do either through His word or through His prophet.
*Go forth and provoke the miraculous!*

" _"Thine own friend, and thy father's friend, forsake not; neither go into thy brother's house in the day of thy calamity: for better is a neighbour that is near than a brother far off "_

Never live a life that you are in enmity with neighbour or you ignore them or feel they are of no use to you in anyway. That is not a good life. No matter
who you are, cut off not your neighbour in despise thinking they are of no value to you. If you are true to yourself there were times in your life that a neighbour in your place of work, household of faith, where you live had come to your aid than your brother far
off. Some persons would have been molested if not for their
neighbours. Though they had brothers in high places but in the time of calamity, they need the speedy response of a neighbour to bail them out. That is the advantage of nearness; therefore live in
peace with those your neighbours. Dwelling in peace does not mean you should be intimate with them. It means you should not be in enmity with them. There are some persons in service unit in
church, in their place of work, in the place they live or in life
generally that do not have any phone number of those around
them. Their phones only have the lines of those abroad and
off. When they urgently need help, they struggle to get it. Be
wise! God's word is the wisdom for a stress free life.

Encounters are meant to bring a life time solution to problems, responses to inquiries, answers to
prayers and the manifestation of expectations in the lives
of God's people. Today, we shall continue from the previous lessons on the blessings of angelic encounters.

➖➖➖➖ *OUTLINES*➖➖➖➖
� *_More outcomes of Angelic Encounters_*

*(1) Angels Deliver Answers To Prayers:* (Daniel 10:12) Angel Gabriel told Daniel that he has come to deliver the answers to his prayers. Also in Luke 1:13,The angel told Zacharias that his prayer has been his wife Elisabeth shall have a son and his name would be called John.

*(2). Angels Reveal Secrets:*
In the book of Matthew 2:13, as Herod plotted to kill baby Jesus, the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream...... This
revelation brought about Joseph's escape with his
family to safety

*(3) Angels Undertake Rescue Mission*
(Gen.19:1-17): In verse 16 of the Genesis chapter 19, Lot was wasting time after the warnings of the angels, see
what happened in that verse..

*(4) Angels Empower Us For Manifestation* [Daniel 10:21]: Daniel became dumb and without strength during one his encounters with an angel. But when the angel touched him, his mouth opened and began to speak. A second touch by the angel and he encounter strengthened him.

*(5) Angels Minister To Us:* (Matthew 4:11)
Angels came to minister to Jesus after he was tempted of the devil. The ministry of angels is the highest encounter
anyone could have. Such an encounter supplies everything one could ever need.

*(6)Angels Guides Us:*
Psalm 91:11: "For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

What are the blessings of angelic encounter you have learnt today?

Having angelic encounter has always been a blessing to the people of God.

Diligence simply means hard work. Vision is not for idle people. Success in life is not for those who are lazy Great success is recorded on diligent pursuit. Diligence involves investing your abilities, strength and all you have into the pursuit of your assignment.
Success will not come to meet you in the house; you have to go out to the field for it. Only the diligent will stand before kings. God prospers people's hard work, not their begging or idleness. Back-biters are idle workers. Diligence is an age long principle that when engaged in would produce irrespective of gender, colour or race of the individual engaging it. Our opening text presents to us a formidable and an irrefutable truth from the mouth of God to as many that would heed to it. This demystifies success. It lets us know that success:is not by chance, neither is it a thing of trial and error or of luck, but
rather a thing of conscious and deliberate diligence by whosoever desires it.

" _While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease."_

No matter how much God loves you, until there is seedtime, there can never be harvest. Your harvest is directly proportional to your seed. Many people are wriggling and suffering because of miserable seeds sown. Your giving determines your living. Child of God, every act is also a seed! Harvest is coming. Negative seeds guarantee negative harvest, while positive seeds guarantee positive harvests. Everything you do is a seed and you will reap it. What you do to your neighbour matters to God, especially those of the household of faith because they are covenant people. Every evil you do to them has a payback of multiplefold coming back to you. Therefore do good to all men because it will determine what becomes of your tomorrow. Jesus said in Rev22:12, *"And behold I come quickly and my reward is with me to give to every man according to his work."* Scripture also says in Galatians 6:7,"Be not deceived, God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." We shall appear before the
judgment seat of God, therefore, let's be careful of what we sow because there will surely be a harvest.

Be consistent in your assignment. There is
path for each person, walk in yours. Do not cross over to someone else's lane. Having located where you belong, stick to it till you become a star. Consistency is a divine attribute. Every assignment culminates in glory, but there is a demand of consistency in it. There is a pressing required for every prize. No press, no prize! Paul pressed, ran and fought so he was confident that a prize awaited him. He was consistent in the assignment God gave him; he didn't back off despite challenges before him.
No vision gets fulfilled automatically, do not go about minding other people's business, face your vision! Even when it seems
things are not yielding the result you expected, stay focused and continue in your zeal and passion for greatness. Stay on course and keep whatever assignment has been appointed to you. Consistency always pays. *Your crown of glory will surely manifest. I see you becoming that which is in the heart of the Father concerning you in Jesus name!!!*

We have a comprehensive redemption in Christ. When you are born again, you are not born to be pitied. Salvation is being rescued from the pit. We have been brought out of any pit of life by the blood of Jesus. Therefore, you are no longer to be pitied. People only pity men in the pit. Jesus has taken you and I out of every pit. You are now to be envied wherever you go, you should be the envy of men with a continuous shout of halleluiah in your mouth. This is God's plan now made available to you. Do you know you are God's priority list for greatness? You have been conscripted for a fruitful life
God wants you to be a reflection of how blessed an object of His love could be. You are a showcase of His goodness. When the world desires to know how blessed a man could be that serves God, they should take a look at you. *Therefore whatever still represents pit experience in your life must be confronted and deleted by fire���.* Whatever wants to return you to the pit or have plotted a pit for you, should be sent to the pit. Your deliverance from the pit was total.

Confidence is built up. You can build up your confidence
to becoming the express image of Christ. What then could be done by you to enable you act confidently as Jesus did? The first is an accurate knowledge of God. Let me quickly bring to your notice that any knowledge you have of God has to culminate into the knowledge of who you are. "Christ in you..." On that template, the God we know is not timid but confident on account of His all powerfulness. When you have
deep knowledge of God, you display confidence. Exploits
becomes the normal daily occurrence of those who have been able to sustain a correct and accurate knowledge of God To know God, know His word. God is in His word, feed on the word, digest it, let it be in you. Use it in your daily battles and you will excel. No situation can resist the authority in the Word of

Confidence occupies an unparalleled position in man quest for excellence and exploits. We live in a world
where the confident reign and the fearful are slaves. Confidence commands authority. In the world today, confidence is what people understand and respect. When you are unsure of yourself and demonstrate a lack of confidence, people step on you. The might of the Israelite army was crushed with the bold and confident stances of one Goliath. No one could lift his finger, none dared raise his voice, and everyone's head was bowed in shame and defeat. The entire army was both morally and militarily paralyzed the bold declaration of one uncircumcised Philistine; an unbeliever... a dog as far as God was concerned. It was not until a young boy stepped out with
confidence that the torment from Goliath stopped. Listen, the power at your disposal will never fail you, so confidence in such power will yield maximally. The Bible says, "Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world". God is able to do far more than you think or ask of Him according to the power at work in you(Eph. 3:20).

It is not everything you hear or see that you react to spontaneously. A child of God filled with the Holy Ghost is
expected to have control over his spirit. Many healthy relationships have been ruined because of lack of self control.
People have uttered murderous words at people in their moments of anger that even when they later realize themselves and make peace, the relationship they once had cannot be restored. Do not
say that is your nature, that you attack things and situations right on the spot. No! That is an operation of a childish Christian. Children in most cases are controlled by their environment, they react to what they see, what they hear almost instantly. That is
why when you hear their cry, that means something just happened and when they laugh, something also took place. But as an adult,
the way you react to things should be different; it is what
determines your maturity, not necessarily your age. Your nature should not be tampered with by events. Jesus said, "Learn of me Matt.11:29. He was an epitome of self control

people of our generation still have encounters with angels. Therefore, we ought to get prepared to have encounters with angels from this moment.

Patriarch Abraham had a significant encounter with
Angels and in the process, they gave him the goodnews

Baptist (Luke 1:13) to mention but a few. Angelic
encounter produces good news.

As a Christian you should be bold as a lion [Prov. 28:1). In other words, don't run from obstacles; don't try to play it safe and find another way out. Confront it with confidence and it will have no choice but to bow to you. Every battle you are involved in is not yours but God's. When you hand over your life to Jesus, you handed over everything else, including any battle you might have to face. God has undertaken to fight your battles for you. All you need do is rest in what He has said and let confidence be in every step you take (Isa. 30:15). The enemy gets mad at believers who manifest confidence and he tries to break them by instilling fear into them. A fearful believer is a powerless believer. What satan does is that he tries to replace boldness with fear in the heart of believers. He knows that if the believer does not fear, there is no opening for him (the devil) to penetrate them. So, never you entertain fear. Fear is not of God, it is the opposite of faith which is of God. Whatever you fear overpowers you, that was what happened to Job. *Therefore, always study God's word to enable you become bold all the time.*

�BIBLE TEXT:Proverbs 18:21
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. "

Many believers are in pains today because of wrong use of their tongue. You are either blessed or cursed by your tongue, you can't remain neutral. [Matt.12:36-37, James 3:5-6]. Your tongue can either talk you into your destiny or talk you into hell Prov. 20.20. Lying provokes affliction. Flattery leads to ruins though they both look like ordinary things. Child of God, don't use flatteries, it doesn't do anyone good. Don't let your tongue cause you affliction. Just say it as it is, and you will be free. If what you are saying in your heart is different from what you are saying with your mouth, you are ruining your destiny. Not everybody around
greatness partakes of it, some are ruined by flattery, others are afflicted for lying. It is not every discussion that you have to partake in. Why must they mention your name in every
discussion that ends in argument and quarrel? Henceforth make it a deal never to rope your destiny with your own mouth and as you do so, the Lord will graciously bless the work of your hands.

Behind every matter, there is a matter. The reason people don't get solution to their issues is because they focus on the shadows of life; they focus on the 'effect' without paying attention to the cause. For example when you see the wall of a house cracking,you will be forced to want to deploy an immediate fix-it approach without delay, you get cement and you cover the cracks. What you just did was to postpone the evil day. You didn't 'stop' the cracks; you covered the cracks. Expectedly, the crack will be force to Begin somewhere else because the root cause of the crack has not been addressed. This is exactly what a lot of us are going through. There is the story of a lady in her thirties; she had no man in her life that was serious about marriage plans with her. It got to a point and she was all confused and so decided to change her wardrobe and put other measures of activities in place but all to no avail. Not until she addresses the main cause, there is bound to be no positive changes. There is an evil manipulator to be addressed. Beloved!is high time you addressed the root of that problem. As you do see it going down before you by fire. It is your time to manifest

When last did you open your mouth to say, 'my Father' in your calling upon God in your closet? If peradventure you often do that, do you do it as a ritual or a slogan always rehearsed in the Christian faith? Not until the true meaning and the reality of the word ' *Father* ' regarding the person of God dawns on you, there is a certain quality of life you may never taste. Has it ever come to your
notice that Jesus never addressed God by the name God? All through His walk on earth, He referred to Him always as My Father except on the cross of Calvary where He said " _My God,My God, why hast thou forsaken me?_ " and I need you to realize that it was on account of the fact that He had on Him the sins of the world. God desires to hear us call Him Father; it thrills His heart alot. He desires a relationship from us, an intimate one for that
matter. When you start doing this consistently, you will realize that things will begin to take shape in your life in Jesus name.

_I see you developing an intimate relationship with the Father. It's a new day of glory for you_

We were created for distinction; we were redeemed to stand out. God said, "You are the light of the world.." You are the difference in the world, you are My STANDARD to your world. The beauty of this is that, God has equipped us to be all that He expects us to be. His word is there to give us directions; His grace is there to amplify our results and give us results beyond our sweet and because of these supernatural provisions, it is no longer a suggestion for us to STAND-OUT in our world, it is a commandment. Every child of God is duty-bound to fulfill this commandment. Salvation is not for conventionality. Salvation makes the face of any man glow. Genuine salvation makes a man to be a sought-after being. Child of God, you are saved to stand-out. Make a resolve today to fulfill this kingdom mandate, make a resolve to live the kind of life that will reveal to your world the beauty of salvation, let men see you
and love Jesus. Let your world see you and be forced to locate your source.
