It is God who turns the ridiculous to miraculous, fear Him. There is nothing too hard for God to do, with Him anything is possible! He is the one that can take imagination. He takes pleasure in turning one's story to glory in the God that when given N1,000 will turn it into more than a million naira. Fear this God who doesn't fear anything, He turns around impossibilities into possibilities without consulting any other. He makes an ordinary man to become extra-ordinary man.
He is the one that killeth and maketh alive. He is a terrible God. No one can question Him over any decision He makes, if He tells you by this time tomorrow, so shall it be. Some people do say, "but we have been praying for this particular thing and it seems God cannot do it or this one is beyond His power'! I laugh... No matter the situation, He is beautiful for all situations. Every situation
bows before Him the Creator. Men break rules; they can
fail but not God! The God of all flesh can never fail at all. To enjoy God put all your trust in Him and hold on, until He answers you don't leave Him. Persistence in faith is the key to receiving from the hand of God. I encourage you

Obedience is the key to bearing fruit. There is what to do
to enjoy God's provisions and all round fruitfulness.
Concerning giving, God commands 'Give and it shall
be given unto you; good measure, pressed down and shaken together, running over shall men give into your bosom (Luke6:38), Another condition required in giving is cheerfulness for God loveth a cheerful giver (2 Cor. 9:7). When you willingly obey God's command in giving, in due season, the benefits of
giving will begin to flow into your life. God does not demand partial obedience from us but full obedience, willingly carried out. Partial obedience is equal to disobedience. One of the major reasons for gross disobedience is lack of knowledge. Until you
know the will of God, you will not obey it. Proper understanding of God's word comes through the studying of the word. "'Read the word of God, when you do so, you hear His voice and it propels
obedience. When you know God's word, you know God and when you know God, you willingly obey Him because God is loving and has good thought towards you it is on

God truly is". Praise Him. The Bible commands all living
creatures to praise the Lord (Psalm 150.6) One Hebrew word for praise is 'Judah' , meaning Praise, give thanks, or confess. A second word often translated as praise in the Old Testament 'Zamar' 'sing praise' . A third word translated "praise" is 'hala'
(the root of hallelujah), meaning to praise,
honor, or command'. All three terms contain the idea of giving thanks and honour to
one who is worthy of praise
Praise is not what we ought to do when everything is going well
or is convenient, No! But both in time of convenience and
Inconvenience If you are facing difficulty of any kind
sing songs of praise to the Lord, and you will see your enemied
defeated. That problem will bow down to you, not that your heart will be lifted and you will sense peace like you never
knows before. God wants to restore the peace you have lost if you will let Him. Remember this; no matter the
complaint, it can never bring down the glory of God. Why not turns the complaint into praises and experience God's glory and peace.

Only those that are willing and obedient are permitted to eat the good of the land. The good of the land is predicted on your willingness to obey in service. Kingdom service
your faithfiulness in what God has called you to do in the
kingdom. What position do you occupy in His house and how are you investing into the kingdom with your gift? Faithfulness in
your calling requires some level of risks, stepping out, believing God can keep and sustain you. In Matt. 25, God gave some talents and they faithfully used it to make profits for the kingdom of God
but the unfaithful servant becuause he is wicked to his master with his talents lost that which he was given As a child of God, you can
gain access into any place in life through service You cannot
serve God or be a good ambaasodor and God will not prove His worth in your life. Don't be foolish while serving or investing
your time, talent, gift,in whatever God has privileged you to do in His kingdom Be wise, do it with your all without any reserve;
God will reward you for your kingdom service. Do not start well and end badly because God is also interested in your finishing.

Don't work it if it doesn't worth it. Our lives in Christ Jesus is a progressive one! Daily, we see another side of God's faithfulness and His mercy which are new every morning.
Sacrifice is the act of giving up something valued for the sake of something else regarded as more important. The force of sacrifice is fearful A king, the king of Moab was fighting against the children of covenant, Israel and when he saw he cannot win or
pass through the land, he took his firstborn who should have
reigned in his stead and killed him because he understood what sacrifice could do. By that, the God that obeys principles gave him victory over His own people 2 Kings 3.27). What do you need from life and you have tried all you know how to do? Give God what will cost you something. Nothing just happens; people
take it upon themselves to provoke something to
happen whenever it is that will cost you something out of the
ordinary is a sacrifice. God is the one that knows all things, all things are bare and naked before Him. He knows what will cost you something, Learn from the story of the widow who gave her two mites into the treasury and Jesus said the widow has cast more (Mark 12:42-43).

One thing that will make anyone outstanding in life is the level of sacrifice he is ready to make'. See; you must be willing to let go of something
no matter how painful to access something great or gainful in life and destiny. John D. Rockefeller was an American Oil and Business Magnate and Philanthropist widely considered as the wealthiest American of all time and the richest person in modern history. Just a little story of him. He was very sick dying on the hospital bed, they have to start begging breast feeding mothers for breast milk to survive, the hairs on his head were removing
but God opened the mystery of tithe to him. He then ordered that his money from 10% to 50% should be paid as tithe. After paying his first tithe, he got his total healing. Sacrifice is a crazy thing but it pays. King Solomon offered a sacrifice of 22,000 oxen and
120,000 sheep unto God for the dedication of God's temple and God visited him [2 Chronicles 7:5]. Your sacrifice will break the head of your enemies in pieces before your very eyes. Try and see the wonders of sacrifice today. God said in our text this day,
gather together unto me the saints that have made a covenant with me in sacrifice. You can imagine such a special gathering God! God releases His best on them.

If you are not diligent, you are not intelligent'. Diligence is
constant and earnest effort to accomplish what is undertaken; persistent exertion of body or mind. To find
diligent people these days is rare; everybody wants to work when people are seeing them and then stop working when people are no longer there. Who are you deceiving? Some are very intelligent but not diligent. Thus intelligence - diligence foolishness. Man's greatest enemy is not the devil but his excuses which is a
function of ignorance. Nobody makes progress where excuses
dwell, if you think I am lying, try it. You cannot tell me you are changing when you are not improving. There are three enemies of progress: Slothfulness, pride and ignorance. Before you desire
any spotlight in destiny, you must first stay under as an observing servant. Many are really gifted, but only few are diligent. They refuse to give their work/assignment all it takes. Some consider themselves bigger than what they are engaged in and as such refused to be hardworking in it. Others give excuses every now
and then in doing their job, they want manna to fall on their lap because they will still find it hard to gather the manna from the field. Child of God, be diligent, only the diligent bear rule.

Those that know how to use their words will eat with Elders" Words are powerful hence Jesus said, the words I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life [John 6:63]. Three friends attended a marriage ceremony one day and when they saw how things were happening anyhow, no order, fighting over things, they said, 'If this is how wedding is, we rather not marry!
That singular statement was stamped in the realm of the spirit.
Mind what you say. Every one of us shall live by the consequences of whatever we say [Proverbs 6:2]. That's how the three friends stayed for years, nobody was asking for their hands in marriage although they were pretty. Have you said something
that's holding you bound? Or you made a vow and you have not paid it? Words not rightly used can bring destructions! It took God's mercy for that curse to be broken from those three friends by a man of God. Please keep praying and keep saying good things you want to see and until you see it, don't stop saying because there's power in the spoken word. Be careful with your
words at all times. *I see God giving you Grace to speak*

"Ignorance brings limitations" Limitation is define as the act controlling the size or extent of something; the act of limiting
something. The only thing that guarantees your inheritance in
God is knowledge; they that know their God shall be strong and do exploits [Daniel 11:32b],. Your inheritance in God is packaged in Christ in the word of God. That is the will of God. That was why scripture says, "And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified" Acts 20:32.
What you know is what gives you access to what you need in life and in destiny. If you want to succeed in your academics, all you
need to do is to register yourself in the relevant subjects that have something to do with your area of interest. And that is how it also works with God. If you want to know your inheritance in Christ Jesus, and enjoy them, study the word of God; find out what it
says about you and enforce your inheritance. With the will in your favour, no man can deny your possession.

_And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son's son... and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldes, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there._

In the pathway of destiny, there are several bus stops which should lead to the final stop which is one's destination. So however the bus stop at any point in
time may appear, refuse to dwell there. There is a Canaan ahead of you which is your goal, press forward and you shall get there.
In our anchor text, Abraham's father Terah had a goal of going into the land of Canaan, the land full of milk and honey, the Promised Land. He quite all right set out, but along the line, something happened. "They came into Haran, and dwelt there"
Haran distracted them from Canaan. Terah the visioner relaxed in Haran and all that followed him also dwelt there.
Child of God, break out of every 'Haran' where life has kept you and press forward to your Canaan. However Haran may appear, it is nothing compared to the Canaan ahead of you. Refuse to settle for Haran. Haran is a place of passing through, not a settling
place. In whatever Haran situation you are presently, tell yourself you are heading to your Canaan. I love what Ter
did. He corrected the errors of his father Teraah's son Abraham in Gen. 12:6 and
use of his determination! That's your portion!

It is your assignment that calls forth your destiny helpers. Assignments are contagious. It has a way of connecting people to the carriers of the specific assignment. Every
human being is born with purpose and this purpose comes in the form of assignment. Assignment is defined as a specific task or
amount of work assigned to one by an authority. With this
definition, what is your assignment here on earth? Don't forget, everybody is born naked but nobody is born without an assignment or purpose as the case maybe. Don't bury your assignment work it out with zeal and have your reward when the rewarder comes [Matthew 25:14]. Today, one of the greatest challenges of believers is ignorance. They believe they are going to be doing their master good if they do well in their assignment hence they decide to do the assigned task anyhow, thereby forgetting the master knows all things. All the great men of God we celebrate today, do you see their God physically to celebrate? But they are the ones enjoying as celebrities! That is how it is when you zealously work out your God given assignment today people will celebrate your God and you will be fulfilled

Different strokes they say for different folks'. What applies to Mr.'A' may not necessarily apply to Mr. 'B Everybody is free to have an opinion about something but your opinion determines how you relate with that thing.
Jesus was aware that there were different opinions about Him. He knew that His disciples were only receiving from Him in proportion to what they knew about Him no matter how long they followed Him. Jesus is interested in you knowing Him. He does not want you to deal with Him based on another person's
revelation of Him. He wants you to know Him personally.
When you know someone personally, it is easy for you to talk about the person. It is easy for you to say to another person, know him, he cannot do what you just said'. A lot of people are being misled because they do not know Him personally. So many lack insights, insight is what paves way for you to get inside. God
works with you based on your personal revelation of Him (Who you know He is) and upon this rock, I will build my church(vs.18). *Your revelation will endorse your assignment.*

�BIBLE TEXT: Psalm 34:19
_"Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all."_

The righteous is expected to attract many afflictions. In
fact his affliction becomes many for the sake of his
righteousness. What are your afflictions? Are they
numerous? It is not out of place but expected. Are you walking
into trouble? Are you in the midst of trouble? Or you are walking
out of trouble?
Relax! If the first part of the scripture is being fulfilled (many are the afflictions of the righteous), the other part will also be fulfilled (but the Lord delivereth him out of them all). God has promised deliverance from all no matter the thickness of the trouble. Verse 20 says "He keepeth his bones, not one of them is broken'
There is no hopeless situation in God. No hopeless situation is without hope, when your hope gets to hopeless, hope again. Don't forget Isaiah 43:2, "When thou passeth through the water I will be
with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Be comforted,your deliverance is sure no matter how much trouble you are in.

_For God is the king of all the earth..._ Take a moment to ponder on this; the King of all the earth. All means total, everything. God is not just a king of a village, nation but of all the earth. He is called the King of Kings (1 Tim. 6:15); when Kings all over the earth gather together, He will be their head. I don't know how to make you understand how great our God is and I find it weird that people find it difficult to praise God. He
created all things (Col. 1:16) for Himself. The resume of God cannot be written or read, He is beyond description or comprehension, there is no searching to His ways, the words we use in describing God, do not actually suffice. We use them because we have to describe Him anyway.
Praise Him with understanding that you cannot even give Him as much praise as He deserves. Praise Him with the understanding
that He made you for His pleasure and this is the only way to pleasure Him. When you realize just a pinch of who God is, your understanding comes alive in giving Him quality praise.

Success has its dos and don't so also does every profession,
belief, system and doctrine. The purpose of this is to put
restrictions on people to get the best. There are general restrictions for all believers, but each must discover his own peculiar restriction in walking with God.- These restrictions are not to mar you but to make and help you to be distinct, standing tall in the purpose of God for your life. Any anointing or assignment that does not put restrictions on your lifestyle is questionable. To live without a sense of restriction is to end up a reproach. To forget or downplay on your restrictions is to be destroyed by the enemy. This was what happened to Samson.
Samson had no sense of discipline. Discipline is what helps you to be restricted. Samson became a victim of what he was born to correct. He ignored all the restrictions on his person and so died
restrictions for all cheaply. When you live without restrictions, you submit yourself to the enemy for termination. Pressure will always come to make
you go against your restrictions such as Delilah, but discipline yourself by not giving in.

Paul had grown in Grace so much that he sought only to commend himself to God. He was not influenced or affected by what others thought of him. He did not get in bondage to anybody; it was not a canal independence but a saintly dignity.
The last of love governed him. He was not easily puffed up, nor was he touchy or resentful. Immature Christians will feel slighted or puffed up. If they are criticized, they become restless, uneasy and full of self-pity. On the other hand, if they are not noticed and appreciated, they feel lifted up and full of self importance. Baby Christians are self conscious and ever conscious of what others are thinking about them. Therefore they are 'tossed to and fro' childishly trying to be popular.
The mature believer is God conscious and ever conscious of what God's word says about him and to him because he is able to testify as Paul, *"it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you or man's judgement"*, He is free to walk in and voice his convictions.

_And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left._

To enter into certain dimensions of success, certain
of lifting, you must come to a place called Calvary. Calvary is not a location in this context but a situation. This situation is whatever publicly crucifies you, dispises you or condemns you because of your stand for Jesus and His ways. So many people want to be with Jesus but not in the open, they are too naïve to identify with Jesus. Some others are
ashamed to identify with Him. (He too will be ashamed of you; Mark 8:38). Others are being ruined by secret sins that they cannot openly attest to. Let people insult you because you have come to Jesus, count it all joy (James 1:2). Jesus was not ashamed nor did He care when He openly became a criminal even though He was without sin to make a way for you to identify with Him. Is
there any situation you are presently in and if you follow the popular opinion you will be applauded, but if you stand for the counsel of God, you will be publicly condemned and you are still contemplating on what to do? Child of God, you don't have an alternative to that. You may suffer light affliction for that but get a far exceeding weight of glory will be revealed in you.

_[2] And Saul and the men of Israel were gathered together, and pitched by the valley of Elah, and set the battle in array against the Philistines._

Scripture says the Philistines gathered their armies to battle. They gathered professional fighters against Israel, all their soldiers were ready for war. The Philistines were prepared, they put attention to details. They spent time, they put in energy, they had strategies, they had gathered information
Child of God, they prepared!
While the Philistines gathered armies leaving no stone unturned,Saul gathered the men of Israel, what an error! He gathered men to fight against army. It is a pity that the world is more thorough
than the people of God. Anyone who goes into battle without preparation is likely to surrender to the enemies. The Bible said this about Abraham when he was suddenly told that his nephew
Lot had been taken captive, "he armed his trained servants born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen and pursued them unto Dan" Gen. 14:14. Abraham had trained servants already on ground for war. Don't wait at the point of battle to put yourself together. That is not preparation.

Many people conceal their true motives and thoughts by pretence. Pretence is very common amongst Christians today. Pretence can conceal disloyalty. You must learn not to trust people who cover their dislike for deception. (Prov.26:25-26).
A wise Christian must learn to recognize words that are smoother than butter and softer than oil but underneath are drawn swords (Psa. 55.21). The devil does not just present himself as an angel but as an angel of light. He looks glorious, shining, holy and
attractive.
Pretenders have things in their background that are not consistent with their claims. Delilah was a Philistine and Philistines were known enemies of the Israelites. Yet, she posed to have extra love
for Samson who was an archenemy of the Philistines (Judges16:15-16). Pretenders make you sign agreements that you will regret. The Gibeonites pretended to be travelers from afar and made Joshua sign an agreement with them (Joshua 9:3-6, 15-16) Watchout! Pretenders are all around, but my God will deliver you from them! *I decree, no matter how they pose around you, my God will help you fish them out!*

_"Rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught,abounding therein with thanksgiving._

A time of testing will surely come for every Christian (Psa. 66:10). I have noticed that many Christians do not have deep roots. They do not know God for themselves. They cannot even explain why they do certain things they do, they don't even know why they belong to a particular church, why they speak in tongues nor do they know why they
give offerings. When such Christians face little criticism, they get confused and have no defense; they have no personal relationship with God. Many Christians who are not rooted in Sound Biblical doctrines
can easily be persuaded to follow fables. Some born again believers fall away because they do not know the difference between the true gospel and the beliefs of sects. You may be in church, but if you not 'deep' you will fall away at any shaking or crisis. Work out your salvation (Phil. 2:12). Love God's word and eat it. Make out time to keep a date with God, ask questions from the Holy Spirit to clarify on issues you are not clear on, *"that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith that ye, being rooted and grounded in love". Eph. 3:17*

God kept His covenant to Israel; He will keep it with you. The believer has covenant rights in prayer, as well as
other covenant rights. Yet there is one outstanding problem that defeats some believers in their prayer life. When they come to God, they have a feeling of inferiority, a sense of sin consciousness, because they know they have failed, a guilt
complex. Some begin their prayers with 'I am so weak and unworthy' and then harp on their weaknesses and unworthiness throughout the prayer. By this, they talk themselves out of faith into condemnation. They don't know whether God hears them
and as so, they beg for crumbs.
When we know that He blotted out our sin, that He doesn't remember that we ever did anything wrong, we can come to Him with confidence, we can come in faith. We lose sin consciousness and take up Son-consciousness. *"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need" Heb. 4:16*

_"Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the LORD: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young children, that faint for hunger in the top of every street._

Parents stand in the gap for your children and don't give up on them. If your children have never known the Lord,
they can come to know Him. (Acts 16: 31). If your child
has known the Lord but has fallen away he or she can come back.
Jesus will love your child just like the prodigal son, accept your child and restore your child's life. Stand in the gap for them by getting on your knees. Stop talking to God about your problem;begin to talk to your problem about your God. Pray and confess
the word of God over your children. Satan is going to try to make it look like God doesn't hear you and that your children won't ever turn to the Lord but remember that Satan is the father of lies and a thief. God hears your intercession (1 John 5:14-15). It is His will
that all be saved (1 Tim. 2:1-4). Continue in faith no matter how bad the situation may seem. Pray against any form of satanic exchange of their destiny. Invest the night period over your
children destroying every form of corruption in their destiny
Separate them from every unholy association; Use your children as a point of contact to reach out to children

The word of God will not produce results in a man, unless it descends into his heart. It is in the heart that the word is synthesized into a force. Faith is thus a spiritual force that taps the omnipotence of God into a situation. The Bible says about the woman with the issue of blood, she said within herself (in her heart), *if I may but touch His garment I shall be whole (Matt. 9:21).* The Bible says Jesus saw faith in the paralytic man and the people who let his bed down (Matt. 9:2), *As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he, Proverbs 23:7.* If a man's
heart is dominated by fear and anxiety, he grows fretful on the outside. If peace and joy rules his heart, confidence and radiance are reflected in his personality. A man's language is also guided and controlled by how much faith is inside of him. *Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. (Matt. 12:34)* And
faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Faith is part of a Christians armour (Eph. 6:16). Faith has to be expressed to produce what you believe in your heart.

Evil appetite is on the rampage for present day believers. It is doing lot of harm and destroying the body of Christ.
Many Christians who started well have ended on a tragic note, Spirit filled and steadfast believers are looking back
because of evil appetite.
Lots of people are looking back to the world and its allurement because of evil appetite. There is a magnetic force that is attached to the evil appetite. This force pulls a person to become a captive of the evil appetite. You must not be ignorant of this deadly weapon of the enemy.
The devil and his principalities want a lot of people to go to hell with them which is why they are skillfully planting manipulating evil appetite in Christians to pull them as prey to sin against their wish. Paul from our scripture reading had his own terrible experience of evil appetite. It was evil appetite that made King
David to sleep with Uriah's wife 2 Sam. 11.2-5. Confess any evil appetite you can identify in your life and ask God to deliver you.
*I see deliverance coming for you!*

Work is an integral part of life, a vital part of identity and medium of prosperity. It really matters what work you do, as vital as the work you do is,
your attitude to your work is much more important As a rule, if you want to enjoy life and really prosper, you must
develop passion for the work you do. You must have a healthy love for your work. Do not endure your work, enjoy it. Someone said since God has put work into our lives, we must put life into our work. If you work just to earn a living, you will be far from satisfaction and fulfillment. You have to find a way of turning your work into a mission, an avenue to bless people, to contribute to human development, to unleash potentials and creativity, to make a real difference in somebody's life and to bring glory to God. The Bible opens by showing us how God worked. Jesus, underscoring the sacredness of work said *"My Father hitherto, and I work" (John 5:17).* Your work is sacred, give it all it takes and God will bless all the works of thine hand.

_And Judah said, The strength of the bearers of burdens is decayed, and there is much rubbish; so that we are not able to build the wall._

Bearers are those who bear; to bear means to carry,to endure, to support. Burden on the other hand means a load, something worrisome that is difficult to beat. Judah was saying the strength of those who help us to carry load is decayed; he was saying those who help us to bear the weight of the load is decayed.
When the strength of those who are meant to carry the load of your life and destiny decays, there is, there was room for a lot of rubbish which leads to unaccomplishment of vision.
Without the bearers of burden, vision cannot come to be. Where there are no bearers of burden, projects are abandoned. Where there are no burden bearers, you labour without fruits. Anything
after your helper is actually fighting against you. You must learn to stand in the gap for your helpers. *May God give you bearers of burdens and also keep them for you.*

The mouth of a sinner is likened to a graveyard. A graveyard is a place for useless things. The poison of the tongue is likened to the venom of a viper. The tongue is
compared to a sharp sword, the smooth talking tongue of a liar likened to fire, it can burn. Evil words can cause hardship and pain. It is very dangerous because it is what the sinner employs in denying Christ. It is also what the believer uses to witness Christ. Those who do not use their mouth well will be destroyed.
*Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels: cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions, for they have rebelled against thee". Ps.5:10.* They will not escape the
destruction of God. Counsels come by the tongue. *A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul (Prov. 18:7).*The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life Prov. 10:11
Child of God, will you let your mouth be a well of life or will your mouth be snare of your soul?

There is a treasure in you, you are not empty, you are gifted. God has put that treasure in you to project you as His house of glory and bring glory to His name. We may not be equally gifted but we are all gifted. "And unto one he gave
five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability.(Matthew 25:15). So do not allow yourself to be looked down on, you are not empty. God specially packaged you for greatness. Your gift may not have fully come to
limelight, but you 'carry something' that the world is waiting for. You carry the solution to a problem. Therefore locate your gift.
Allow time process your gift. Time helps to fully understand your gift. Do not be afraid because your gift did not yield the result you desire when you first used it. There is also the place of fellowship and prayer for your gift to be on fire. Look for people who carry much of what you carry small so that as you fellowship with them, your gift can become the much of what they have. Daniel related with Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego. They
were all men of prayer. Prayer ignites your gift to come alive. The place of prayer is very crucial in maximizing your potentials.
