There is nothing like throwing under the bus. A responsible govt will not deny its citizens. A neighbors says he doesn't want your kids in his house and you are still playing hide and seek? Will that not be the highest level of irresponsibility? If a neigbhbor says he doesn't want your kids in his house, the honourable thing to do is to create a reasonable pathway to send the children back home.

The UK govt is even behaving responsibly. Some Asian countries will throw their asses back home without any recourse to due process after starving them for some days.
