Jonathan’s transformation agenda has no positive impact on Nigerians – Gov Amaechi

“This transformation agenda has not in any way reflected in the lives of Nigerians. Go everywhere, there is poverty and wanton neglect.So what are we now transforming?. Some of the members of TAN are those that benefitted under the subsidy fund and who ought. to be prosecuted and jailed. But I am sure that the APC as a party will bring to bear more pragmatic agenda that would meet their yearnings”

“I want to assure Nigerians that the fact we are going to have the primaries should not in any way disintegrate the party. I believe that even such primaries will help to unify the party. We are all making sacrifices every day.We are all doing this because we truly believe that this is the best way for Nigeria. whoever emerges as the presidential flag bearer for APC,we will rally round the person.”

Once again, Nigeria has performed badly in the Ibrahim Index of African Governance (IIAG) which was released on Monday. At 45.8 per cent, Nigeria performed worse than both the African average (51.5 per cent) and the West African average (52.2 per cent). Of the 52 African countries measured, Nigeria was ranked 37th, and in West Africa, Nigeria occupied the 12th position out of 15 countries ranked. The top four governed countries, according to the IIAG
which is sponsored by the Mo Ibrahim Foundation, are Mauritius (81.7 per cent), Cape Verde (76.6 per cent), Botswana (76.2 per cent) and South Africa (73.3 per cent). The IIAG is an annual assessment of the quality of governance in African countries. Interestingly, neighbours like Ghana (7th), Benin Republic (18th), Niger (29th), Liberia (31st), Cameroun (34th) and Togo (36th) all placed ahead of Nigeria. Nigeria got poor ratings in safety and the rule of law where it is rated 44th with 38.1 per cent, 32nd in the rule of law with 41.0 percent and 30th in accountability with 36.6 percent. The country got its lowest rating in personal safety where it is ranked 49th with 16.5 per cent and second lowest in national security where it is ranked 48th with 58.2 per cent. Under participation and human rights, the country is rated 26th with 46.9 per cent, 31st on sustainable economic opportunity with 43.3 per cent and 34th in human development with 53.0 per cent. in

Rigging is only possible when nigerians refuse to go out and vote, therefore giving PDP the space to vote for themselves through rigging.If Nigerians stop unknown people from hanging around polling units, ballot snatching will be no more, when communities organize & participate in all the stages of electioneering,their votes will count, & the lives will change for the better.PDP can't continue to do the same bad things always & expect the suffering masses to keep on supporting them. We need to vote out these greedy politicians that lack wisdom and capacity to take us & Nigeria forward. Nigerian masses must show them that we can change the game with our voting power. Let the mobilization of people that want to see a better Nigeria start.

CHANGE
Nigerians must embrace change and then go out & effect it through the ballot box. This process of change is found not just in politics but is grounded in the spiritual. We must rescue our country from leaches and parasites, from vagabonds in power & from barbarians at the gate. this is our time to do what is right for Nigeria, this is our moment to save Nigeria,Let us seize it & make Nigeria great. We speak of a New Nigeria that can truly be called a federal republic practising a federal system & not a unitary system. where other arms of govt are truly independent and where the rule of law reigns supreme.
We speak very expectantly of a New Nigeria where no child will be left behind and education will be a right and not a privilege and where being shoeless will no longer mean being clueless.

APC: Agent of change for committed, transparent and focused Leadership.
As a change Agent, APC intend to cleanse our closet to halt the dangerous drift of Nigeria to a failed state; with a conscious plan for post-oil- economy in Nigeria.
To achieve this laudable programme APC
government shall restructure the country, devolve power to the units, with the best practices of federalism and eliminate unintended paralysis of the centre. APC believes in the doctrine of social contract between the leaders and the led; which means that the public office holder is a trustee of the people& that power must be used in the interest of the people rather than in the interest of the public office holder. Our mission is to construct a progressive state anchored on social democracy,where the welfare and security of the citizenry is paramount.
* War Against Corruption
* Food Security
* Accelerated Power Supply
* Integrated Transport Network
* Free Education
* Job Creation
* Devolution of Power
* Accelerated Economic Growth
* Affordable Health Care
without any intention to abandon any ideal
which will guarantee the corporate welfare and security of our people.
We are going to tackle corruption & bring qualitative education that is highly subsidised. Recently, universities were closed for almost six months. This should not be happening in Nigeria. medical doctors went on strike. The infrastructure in the country is very poor; almost non-existent. Yet, we have enough money to fix these things. Kano an APC state is the only state that has officially stopped paying for any person to attend any religious pilgrimage. Gov Kwankwaso as with APC believes in the right to religion but with the state of infrastructure in our states and the country, we believe the money can be better used to impact the lives of many more Nigerians especially through educational development

While other nationals are adventuring to as far as space,Nigerians find it hard to trace their routes to their own villages.Issues of corruption,insecurity,institutional decay, industrial collapse and youth unemployment all have a direct link to leadership question. This is a country where Professors & Medical Doctors are living in the fringe while ex-militant live a life of luxury &ostentations. Meritocracy is being replaced by mediocrity,competence by incompetence.Men and women are dying of ebola, territories are being captured and stealing is becoming too common. The once giant of Africa is being dwarfed by self inflicted
apocalypse. Industries are geometrically
depleting & youth unemployment is at its
highest. Baby factories are taking over Ajaokuta steel rolling mill and kidnapping is as lucrative as banking sector.

-how can such a huge cash transaction without any paper trail be "legitimate”?
-we are interested in knowing if this
money is part of any budget?
-madam Ngozi must explain whether cash transaction is the new mode of transaction by our govt?
-CBN must tell us if they provide the dollars
-we need to know the bidding formats of this "legitimate" contract?
-Which Security service requested for the equipments?
