kecy19: And u all are mocking our great company, NLNG. The wait has just begun for this set of Graduate Trainees. I'm writing this in no official capacity, but i must reassure you that you are doing yourselves more harm than good with all your hate comments and insults.
BE WARNED!!! Bro/Sis abeg take some chill... No one has made any hate comment concerning NLNG here (to the best of my knowledge); we're just registering our disappointment in this recruitment process that has dragged on for much too long. When this is all over, not every one that has gotten to this stage will be calling NLNG 'our company'. But at least now, we have a platform to express how we feel about what we're going through & identify with one another. Want to say more but don't want to come across as 'unnice'... |

Hello tommyclancy,
I would like to commend you on your work.
Although seemingly crude, I like your creativity in making use of readily-available, home-made materials to achieve / replicate what is a complex system.
Your work reminds me of Parkingzz here on NL, who did similar works on RC helis & airplanes.
Keep up the good work & don't be discouraged by failures along the way. I'm sure you'll go places with your skills & gifts.

All I will say is dat you should keep the faith. Yall will least expect when they will get back to you. . . You know, sometimes I try to see things from the NLNG's point of view. But it's hard to do so when you have to put some important decisions on hold, just for the chance of being called or not. I only wish there was some definite timeline to work with. Nice story BTW. |

The gun in her right hand suggests that the murderer put it there because the cigarette is in her left hand. It's murder. |

dway4ward: 3 + 3 x 3 - 3 + 3 How many good oranges do you have if Dele has 3 and Tosin has thrice Dele's oranges with three of the oranges spoilt from transportation issues and 3 extra as bonus.
Can you all see there is no need to include any brackets? That is the root of the analysis mismatch. Mathematics never lies. Do not impose on it what is not. BODMAS 3+3 x 3-3+3 B- No brackets in the question O- No Of D- No division M- 3+ 9 - 3 + 3 A- 12 - 6 S- 6
I'll leave this thoughtline as is. Apparently 6 is the solution to the equation following basic principles, those with 12 as the answer solved from left to right like in the word problem I described above. But how can -3 + 3 be equal to 6 instead of 0? Type the equation in your scientific calculator and see if you won't get 12. No need for complicating things with the word problem either. |

airsaylongcon: ... Let me simplify it for you by substituting the value 3 for x You will get the following : X + X^2 - X + X Note this is not a linear equation that must be equal to zero hence the rules of bodmas must be applied. Therefore we must multiply first, then add before subtracting finally. Hence we get: [X + X^2] - [X + X] [ X + X^2] - 2X Substituting values for X = 3 [3 + 9] - 6 12 - 6 = 6 ... Go school una no gree go. The problem in your steps is not with the multiplication but the last two terms in the equation. Do you know that -3+3 is not the same as -(3+3) ? 1st case:-3+3=0 2nd case:-(3+3) = -3-3 = -6 Simple arithmetic, no need for including unnecessary brackets or proving by differentiations. |

In addition, I respectfully state that your reference to his/her expression as "sloppy writing" is quite insulting and somewhat disrespectful. I don't mean any disrespect, but I think you didn't understand Airsaylong's message. He said he always viewed the " check your mail" posts as a joke, except the first time (He wasn't chastising her). He also expressed his opinion about the rampant use of a wrong grammatical expression, which was not done in an insulting/disrespectful tone. |

dway4ward: Management meeting to confirm recruitment process. Congratulations fellow colleagues.
Niger Delta Youth Leaders Stage Protest At NLNG Channels Television. Updated August 29, 2015 NLNGThe Niger Delta Youth Movement comprising of leaders of youth groups from the Niger Delta, staged a peaceful protest at the office of the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital. . . . Though, some officials of the company were on hand to receive the protest letter, no comments had been made yet by the NLNG.
A source in the company however, told Channels Television that members of management, were in Bonny Island for a meeting over the weekend and an official statement would be made after the letter had been studied. But I can't find anywhere in the report that NLNG management is meeting to confirm recruitment process. Still hopeful anyway. |

Obiagelli: The earlier Buhari fires garba shehu the better. To even think I brought this pledge to Nairaland. A statement from his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu titled: “Understanding Buhari in 100 days” pointedly disowned two campaign documents which he said emanated from some of party’s “so many centres of public communication which, for whatever reason, were on the loose.”
“There is a certain document tagged “One Hundred Things Buhari Will Do in 100 Days” and the other, “My Covenant With Nigerians.” Both pamphlets bore the authorised party logo but as the Director of Media and Communications in that campaign, I did not fund or authorise any of those. I can equally bet my last Kobo that Candidate Buhari did not see or authorise those publications.

LumiNG: I think the Fact find works both ways. It's of no use asking the right question(s) if you cannot use the insights gained from the assessors' responses to justify your selection. I quite agree. Just felt that the assertion of only one correct answer seemed a bit far-fetched. |

TruthisOut: I think that fact- finding is not about defending your choice but asking the right questions that will lead you to the right choice. There is only one right answer and three pertinent questions that you need to ask to make that right choice.
Think about it: the exercise is called fact- finding and you have resource persons to ask questions that will lead you to making the wise choice. Please how did you arrive at the bolded? I believe there's no 'right/wrong' answer, but success lies in the candidate's ability to justify his/her choice based on pertinent facts. |
