Omoapena:Make sure you're truly and properly registered for the conference meeting. As in, your name is in the list of attendees, all payments made, including payment of hotel lodging. Do not lie that you're a govt agent. I can show you a video of someone busted at the POE. He said he's going for conference and he works with NNPC. They made calls and discovered that there was truly a conference in a particular state, but he's not registered to attend. He's not a staff of NNPC. He was deported. Be careful bro! Shey you don sell the car? |
Fuel update: MRS Sabo is selling. No long queues. Just few cars. 607/ltr. No other filling station is selling around here
|
northbird:Oh really! No wonder they hardly solve issues when U chat with them. Na to dey go that office be that.....anytime I take someone around there. I go just breeze in. |

pope191:Bought 25 ltrs from NNPC Sabo, even though they don't sell for kegs, they sold to me codedly cos they know me well. They collected 500 on it. Then bought another 25 ltrs from NNPC Folagoro, Omo the guy insisted on 1k. Though they don't sell for kegs. I had to talk to one uber guy to help me.....though it was the attendant that told me to attach to a car and he would have to sell it codedly. Keg inside car. As I dey......I don ready for Monday and Tuesday work, God willing! |
pope191:NNPC Sabo is selling. NNPC Folagoro is selling. No kegs, only cars |
Pearl1910:I no partake for any curse. No be me collect 500k from their hand. No be me say make the yahoo boiz dey steal from people. Police settle me because I drive go station and waited for long. I bn no wan go. I no plan anything with them. Aka'm di ocha! |
Fatbam003:Who be you? Who you be? No ever quote me again |
Omo police makes so much money from yahoo boiz o! Picked 2 guys from that train station at yaba. Map showed me oyingbo-iddo. Police stopped us after iddo, trying to make a U-turn to Eko bridge apongbon. The police oga didn't even search their bags. He just collected one of the guy's phone and searched through. I was already angry cos they were delaying me. They found fraud activities on the phone and told me to drive to their office, after contain. I refused and told them to take them in their car and allow me go. They asked if I don't want to collect my money, I said No. That I picked them from the train station and they are going to landmark. I can't collect any money now. Their oga begged me and I later succumbed. To cut the long story short, we got there and they collected 500k from these guys. Their money is about 7k. They transferred 20k to me when I got to landmark. The police oga collected my number at the station and sent me a text to send my account. I sent it and he transferred 20k to me. I actually felt bad for the guys but I blamed them for leaving such info in their phone. |
northbird:This is better. Thanks bro 👍 |
OralB:I'm not doubting you my brother. I just didn't understand the whole permutation, so I wanted someone to explain, which northbird did. Meanwhile I sent you a pm. Kindly respond. Thanks. Better still, share your WhatsApp number....if you can |
northbird:That means he didn't make that 170k in a week |
northbird:Thanks bro. So what's the meaning of cash out and weekly payout? |
OralB:Who can explain this deductions and how they arrived at 170k and still arrived at 113k at the end
|
Omoapena:No go learn the hard way o! Form a call and tell him one touchy story about the call concerning your family.....that you need so so amount(depending on the amount he's owing) to send to your wife now! Bro, that guy fit dey use you and eventually not pay you shishi |
Glithronix:Ok, thanks Glit 👍 I actually passed apongbon around 12:30pm and noticed the traffic had started building up. Been working around mainland since then |
pope191:Just take am easy. Dapo na our own. Meanwhile, what is causing this early traffic on 3MB and apongbon? |
Pls there's no need for curses. Na d same hustle we all dey! Whether dem believe you or not, just move on. It won't stop your income, neither will it affect your life! It shouldn't still stop you from dropping experience. One love. Tojah, pope and yeye too like violence 😊 |
Pearl1910:Brodaly, na this 20k fine I really no agree with. My Hackney expired 3 years ago and I've bn driving without it and I still renew papers without it, with no fine. It was just recently that I opened up to my guy what I do and he advised I do Hackney and when I paid, it was a year I paid. He said I would still have to pay for the 2 years......but no 20k fine. Told him...."payable when able/whenever" The truth is, I've never been stopped for Hackney cos I don't even look like I do uber. Majority of my riders sit in front, except some few little olosho girls, who eventually sit in front when AC don't get to them cos I purposely decided not to increase it. |
Just thinking.......if 100k too small for a month, then how do family men with kids, who earn a salary of about 30, 40 or 50k cope in this economy? I'm sure there are family men who earn this low and they still find a way to take care of their family. How do they cope? Omo, wahala dey this country. Naija is seriously a time bomb waiting to explode! God help us |
Ttipsy:This thing pain you pieces 😊 |
Ridiculous prices on a Friday! Na wao! No surge at all |
Pearl1910:You're always on point brother. My mistake was not calling him immediately and I didn't even know the expiry date was on my birthday. I just didn't take note of it honestly. How can I do my papers including Hackney and not do DL? It skipped my mind walai. Even my friend was pleading with the man in my presence that I just did my papers and that I'm someone who doesn't like to be stopped or harassed on the road.....that I like all my documents complete, but he refused and said if this will make him loose his job, he wouldn't mind, but I must pay fine and go to epe. My brother tojah, my guy really really tried for me. The man already gave me ticket for epe, stamped and signed and even made a call through to them. Na my guy save situation. Someone(a staff) even told me that if oga so so(my friend) couldn't appease him, that I would have to go to that epe.....and I would pay demurrage for that 3 weeks! |
Always have a valid DL when driving. Recently I renewed my papers with one of my friend(VIO office Edmund crescent) he's the boss in his section. I forgot that my DL had expired. 2 days after, VIO officers stopped me before waec junction inward jibowu. I had seen them at the yabatech junction but I was so sure I had complete papers. I stopped and pulled over and then told the guy politely that I usually do my papers at your office with so so person, unfortunately he isn't known with the name. He asked for my DL and I gave it to him. Then he said it has expired. I said give me let me see. He refused and showed me from afar, but I couldn't see it so I told him that we should go to their office since it's close by. They said I won't drive and they dragged my key with me in the ignition. My car was unlocked. They overpowered me and collected it and I succumbed and told them to drive to their office. When we got there I called my friend. He said I would have settled with them or even call him immediately. Told him I was too sure I had everything complete and that if I knew I would have done it with him. That I thought they wanted to extort me! The guy that drove the car went into their ogas office(the head of their own section....I guess patrol) and lied against me that I was driving them away from the spot they stopped me, to a different area and they had to drag the key at the ignition with me. The oga got angry and issued me 20k fine. Then he said my car will be in their office for 3 weeks, 4 tyres deflated and I would have to go to epe(every day for 3 weeks) for one yeye training. My guy said I didn't do it well, but I would have to pay the fine cos it had been registered but I won't go to epe. That I would get the car that day but in the evening when he must have calmed down. To cut it short. I paid the 20k and collected my car the same day in the evening. My friend called one of the ogas at unilag DL office and told me to go there the next day. I went and viola, did capture 2 days after! I learnt my lessons though(not totally my fault sha) but then me and those guys na correct paddies now. They see me at times and they don't stop me anymore. Met one at a bar close to my house and he bought me and my friends drinks. |
@Baz, all igbos are not ipob. All igbos don't support ipob. Eastern states are not ipob states! You're sensible and reasonable than that statement! I come in peace! |
Omoapena:Maybe because you work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays! Fares are usually low on these days. You will see difference when you work on Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They are also high when it's raining on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but repairs dey wait for U. |
northbird:You're right. I battled this thing for long cos 1960 tokunbo belt was scarce then |
Beremx:Oh really! So why will they put us in band A against our wish? They didn't even contact us before doing it. They didn't even bother to ask which band we want. This is serious injustice! |
I use 5000 in a month or almost a month before the increase in electricity tariff. After the increment, EKEDC sent messages and informed us that we are in band A and that the tariff has been increased to two hundred and something. I now use 25000+ in a month. This is just too outrageous and crazy and nobody is saying anything. Are we all cool with this? It's like one just came to Lagos to pay bills! I can't even save money anymore. From increase in rent, to electricity to food items, to fuel (with scarcity) Why are we all folding hands and watching like all's okay? Are we cowards in this country? Why will just few people be tormenting the lives of millions of people? This is really frustrating! |
Jamie248:So what did you do? |
konshency:Thanks |
ekitimanalways:Ok, thanks |
