Indrive: you choose wherever you want to go.
Bolt: you slightly choose. If you cancel much, your driver score reduces and you get blocked.

Indrive: No paid waiting, so riders get to delay you for 10/20 mins.
Bolt: there's paid waiting after 5 mins.

Indrive: Fastest fingers will not let you get ride on time. You wait for long period at times before getting a ride
Bolt: you're always busy. No dull moment.

Indrive: they charge 10% commission, excluding VAT
Bolt: they charge 20% commision, excluding VAT

Indrive: fixed price but you negotiate. If you stay long in traffic, rider still pays the negotiated price ab initio.
Bolt: Not fixed. Rider is charged based on time spent on the journey.

Indrive: No car inspection/ you can register online and start working.
Bolt: car inspection with a fee

But as a newbie, I'll advice you start with bolt and uber

Bypassing something is jumping it, i.e not doing it. Though the guy didn't approach it well. For me I tried using apps but it still rejected it, so I went to Yaba tech and met a photographer there. He took a new shot and gave me the exact size and background needed. I uploaded it and it was accepted.

My advice for guys: Apply for 64 pages passport cos they are readily available. You should get it within a month. 32 pages isn't available anymore and they've not printed. Some people have captured since 3 months ago and still waiting.

I credited my indrive account with 1k. My opay was deducted but it never reflected on the app. I had to pay another. Complained to opay, they said the money is in indrive's account. Complained to indrive, they denied it. Otilo!

Sure I do know that,
I don't drive in bad roads and I pray I won't be taken to any route with bad roads.

It is not by prayer, it is reality. If you drive on bolt, you will surely get an order going to routes with bad roads and the more you reject the orders, the more your driver score reduces, and you can eventually get blocked.

On indrive, you choose the area you want.

It's cheaper on bolt for riders. A trip of 11k+ on Indrive is 9k on bolt. It might not even be up to 9k when U end the trip

Please Mr Babs I'll like to ask how you achieve this routine cause it almost doesn't seem to work for me. How do you do you mainland-island-mainland trips consistently?

I stay in oworo and most times my first trips are always to Ikeja because I refuse to pick nonsense prices I see going towards my preferred destination(island).

How I do mainland to island and vice versa? I do not really know how to answer this but I'll try. I just pick trips going to island(lekki precisely). Then when I get to lekki, I pick trips going to the mainland. The prices you call nonsense might not be though, that's if you know how to calculate it at a glance and pick fast. For instance if the time to complete a trip showed 1hr, that's 7k. If you see any amount less than that, forget it. If it's 1hr 30 mins, it is 10k. If it's 30 mins, it's 4k+
You need to also use a fast phone and a fast network.

I might be wrong to some people but this is how I calculate mine.

Ok sir. That day was just one of the bad days. I can do just 4 or 5 trips and I've achieved my aim for the day. 10k fuel to make btw 30-34k.
Monday was 32, Tuesday 31, Thursday 30, today 34.
I don't have to do 20 trips to achieve the same target.
If I want to achieve more, I buy 15k fuel. I work from 10am to around 6pm. I'm ok with that bro.

The major issue is the dumping of these refuse in the gutters and roads. If you use a plastic, drop it in the dustbin not the road or the gutter.

3MB is blocked when you're coming from mainland(adekunle) to island(via clinic Rd) Alternative route; follow muritala Mohammed to oyingbo, then to iddo..

3MB is also blocked from 12midnight to 12noon when you're coming from island to mainland. Follow Apogbon.
Though I will advise you follow 3MB from 1pm(from island to mainland) cos yesterday I passed there around 12:30pm and it was still blocked. They later opened it around 12:50pm or so. Meanwhile na dem say na 12noon dem go dey open am.

I think it's just the mentality. Social media is good but then it's also bad in some ways. In the sense that, it has shaped some peoples' reasoning upside down. There's absolutely nothing wrong in living with your parents when you have a large house.That's if they want. They would even assist you in taking care of your kids well, if you and your wife are working class.

For me, my dad is late and my mom lives with me and my wife. She formally stays in the village, but I discovered she's always falling sick. So I went to bring her to live with me and my wife, that's after discussing with her(my wife) and she agreed. Since she has been living with me, no more sickness. She's always happy and doing one or two to keep herself busy and she's not lonely again. She has BP but I help her to manage it. Takes her drugs and eats well. I also check her BP anytime I come back from my hustle.

Don't allow social media to shape your life for you. Do what pleases you and works for you.

I really don't know whether its jazz Indrive is using for u guys or its just penny wise pound foolish. that u guys feel Bolt commission is too much but then settle for rubbish on Indrive.
25% of 60k is still better than 10% of 40k.
25% of something is better than 10% of nothing.
If u have stomach upset, buy flagyl and lock up the system. Don't let small setback spoil ur entire day.

Dem no do jazz for me. I resort to indrive when I get blocked on bolt. I can't pick nonsense prices on Indrive. Imagine drivers picking a trip of 5500 on Indrive, which is from 7500 to something on bolt. I checked after fastest finger picked it.

I get ur point though, but as "Uche", you fit shapaly run the unblock for me 😊

@omoapena, sorry for this bad encounter. pls take it easy on yourself. It's one of the things we see in this hustle. It also happens on bolt, but more on Indrive. Don't let it affect you upstairs! Drivers face a lot of frustration from this hustle, but you gat to keep grinding till you gather yourself well and move on to another level.

I came out today, got one order, then got to the place. Number was switched off. Waited for more than 15 mins, then cancelled. Got another one, almost got to PU, then rider cancelled. Then waited for more than an hour.....indrive drivers picking nonsense price. Fasters fingers no gree! Unexpected stomach upset started. I just drove home. We move tomorrow.

Don't let riders decide your reasoning and happiness. It is well with every hustling soul here.
